My favorite NCAA men's basketball team.. so great a team that after they won. The NCAA decided to ban dunks for a few years... The game between Texas Western vs Kentucky started and ended with a slam dunk.
ps BTW i am proud of the way the of the way texas western players and coach worked thru this problem then, the refs do their job fair now doing their best now. which makes me happy. real fains like myself want fairnes in the games.
after watching this live when i was 5 years out of high school. while watching it now. i understand basketball much more now. it seems to the all white refs were calling things on texas western on their players they DID NOT DO. said to say bad, bad calls. the refs seemed to want kentucky to win. sad to see. much better refs now.
the '67 UCLA team would've beaten this team. You'd have no match for Kareem. Both teams had excellent back court duos though... they would've basically cancelled each other out. That leaves Kareem and Shackelford vs Lattin and Shed. Kareem would've dominated inside but I think Lattin and Shed would still score some. UCLA > UTEP but not a blow out... maybe a close game.
such bull crap that your saying Adolph Rupp is racist. you dont know anything about Rupps background. why dont you talk about how successful he was as a coach and how he won over 800 games and 27 conference titles and 4 national championships and how he sparked college basketball and how he brought so much joy to the state of kentucky and now kentucky has the biggest fan base out of any college basketball program, also created a dynasty at the university of Kentucky. you probably made this video just by watching the movie. the movie was not %100 true. in the movie the fans were waiving rebel flags which did not happen and his comments he said were not true. they made Rupp seem racist because he did not recruit black players but no other colleges were recruiting. kansas recruited black players. guess were Rupp was born ..... kansas. ask his players he was not racist . speculations of him being racist started occuring once this movie was made. please stop accusing this man of being racist.
