I don't like speaking too soon but this dude seems like the exact player Coach Malone loves on the court. Looks like he could really have a calming effect on the bench unit with his patience and probing. He's a rookie so his minutes aren't going to come easy but I really like the way Pickett plays, he's got toughness, mentally and physically.
He reminds me of Andre Miller but more athletic and shoot better.
Everyone been hyping up Tyson's performance but Pickett is the guy I am more excited for. Smart player, gets teammates involved, doesn't turn the ball over much, plays physical, can shoot. And his defence looks better than I thought it was.
Calvin Booth has a good eye! Great pick.
A better shooter than what everyone perceived him to be. But his lack of handles will make him a journeyman or g league player
He really needs help handling the ball. Definitely GLeague
