Figma did such a good job hiring you. You present so well and unassuming without judgement or pedantic mannerism. Even when I know what you're talking about I still like to listen ❤️
she's great
Wow! 🙌I'm not the only one who thought that!!!
Agreed!
exactly my thoughts , she knows how to deliver the idea smoothly
i so wanted to say this. :)
The reason I started liking Figma is divided into before and after I met you. Even revisiting the basics has been really helpful! Many thx to you!!
Usually, instructions from the Software Creators are bloody practical, no explanation, no insightful to users' pains. Therefore, users would seek for other guys' helps. However, you are surprisingly different. This video is simply clarify almost everything. Thanks.
This is a really good, real-world explantion. Well done.
I love Figma's videos. I am a designer and I am starting with the UI/UX now.
Thank you so much for uploading these videos. They are really increasing my knowledge in Figma!
perfect tutorial, thank you! ❤
Really clear explanation. Thank you!
I clearly understood the purpose of components - I loved your voice it was easy for me to focus! :) thank you!
best vdo so far for a start
thank you so much for this simple yet practical tutorial. I didn't know about components when I started prototyping. I'm in the middle of my design and it took me lots of time to make changes in my design 🤦♀How do I turn a button I've already created and used in my prototype into a component? is there anyway to make my work easier from now on?
I love you, you are a great teacher God bless you
3:04 "This is the most beautiful design I ever made" - I LOL'd
I like to see your videos😍
I cant see push all changes to main component
I never saw the push changes option!
Thank you
Why does Figma's canvas GUI identify a component with the four little diamond icon but it doesn't identify an instance of that component with the outline diamond? Why are these icons only shown in the layers left side panel? Is there a way to turn on or off these small icon identifiers in the canvas?
Great learning experience of your lecture, But looking at you was even more attractive :-)
I have a query. I have 200 frames, each depicting an animal and its name. Now, I aim to utilize them and trigger an action where hovering changes the frame's border color, or clicking on the frame navigates to the respective animal's page. How can I achieve this with swap properties or variables to minimize excessive components and avoid multiple computations for 200 animals each time? Thanks
Greate
The only question I was left with after this tutorial is what happens to a altered instance, when the original component is changed. Example, If I changed the red box to yellow in an instance, and then I changed the box color on the component, would the yellow instance box change, or stay yellow?
Yellow instance box remains yellow, it doesn't change, i just tried the exact same thing
How do you detach the main component?
Main component is attached to none. Instances are attached to main components. So you can detach the instance from it's main component. If you want the main components to disappear just delete the main component. It will not delete the instances of this component which you deleted.
CAN YOU PLEASE ASK HER TO KEEP THE CAMERA VIDEO ON BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER ?
Sarcastically, oh, what a knockout! Apparently, your oh-so-"stellar" Sales Incentive payment has been oh-so-"processed."
