Hey, for anyone coming to this video after the Steam release - the game got a balance update after this video was uploaded. The Zapper and Sorceress are now stronger, with the Barbarian being changed a lot with some nerfs, and the Sylvan Elf nerfed a little. So let me know if you would like an updated ranking!
I just think funny how in all previous games all the knights were male chars, but in LOKR they decided to make a female one. Poor voduke, we understand your pain for the waifu knight
Orc cleaver is definitely without a doubt my favourite character in the whole game he's always the last one on the Battle field due to his amazing health and armour. True story while I was playing the boss level on the snow area, orc cleaver I was my last character standing and he had 1 health left . I thought all hope was lost but then he 1 spotted the boss !!!!! I was so happy that day :) and this is why he's my favourite character
My personal favorite team has to be Gerald, Bombardier, and Arcane Wizard just because of how easily you no-hit Stormcloud’s Winter with it. Also, Aura of Sol + Parry Stance sounds really sick. Definitely gonna try that out!
I was finally able to play legends of kingdom rush on the iphone and it definitely was fun! It stayed true to the original kingdom rush games with it's art style and nice details and the references to the other games and the combat is nice and challenging overrall and getting new heroes through various achievements are definitely rewarding, the story is impressive which we can see Linirea's state with Veznan's ruling and the numerous changes of stages when doing a new game is also good i hope ironhide can make a game once again with a quality like this.....nice party guide i will definitely use this thanks!
the bombadier is also very strong, especially for the later campaign, when you can guarantee to level her up. guaranteed 4/5 area damage is enough to one shot cultists and on level 3 skeletons
Oloch and bombardier mix perfectly together both merge amazingly together ! They allowed me to beta wild moon first try plus knight but she's optional to the team
my first favorite team was Asra, the Knight and the Wizard, because the Knight is a reliable tank and can stun every two turns, and Asra and the Wizard obviously the damage sources
Exactly it's way too simple. Just watch your spacing, some battles you have to step back all the way back as you attack and that's about it. Clearly the fastest way to get the job done why waste time?
Definitely a good video. I prefer Bravebark, Ranger, and Witch Doctor (Barbarian, Knight, or Dark Knight as 4th) I'm not as good as you, so I rely too much on healing. For heroes I think it's Bravebark > Gerald > Asra > Bruxa > Oloch > Reg'son
Can you do a breakdown of Orc Cleaver vs Dark Knight? I find that the Dark Knight is severely underrated. If you keep him away from magic enemies, he is nearly unkillable (and remember, the lv 2 skills fully recharge his armor). The thorns in combination with spike reforge deal 5 damage per hit. The Orc Cleaver of course also needs a turn (berzerk ritual) to set up. It is a bit less, but in turn, he is a far better physical tank. And his lv 3 ability Porcupine Slam deals 10 damage to every enemy around him, which is very strong, compared to whirlwind strike.
To these days, these teams are still solid, the only one that is outdated is barbarian as a solo tank. Zapper could replace Arcane Wizard in some teams, but AW is still the best companion damage wise. I would like to see a update version of this video
Reg'Son is actually very strong, but only in the third stage and the DLC, because of the abundance of mages. For beating stage 3, I like to run Reg'Son, Arcane Wizard and the Knight
my top 3 is 1 ashra barbarian or orc cleaver zapper 2gerald dark knight zapper 3 gerald witch docter arcane wizard i prefer the stun abilities from the zapper more than the high damage from the arcane plus the zapper level 3 has the ability to summon the little zapper towers
I like the combos here but when I play games it's all about speed Azera, Archer, Arcane. Kill everything before anything has a chance. I've Barely Used items or taking damage, I'm not seeing a faster way to get the job done.
My favourite one has to be the sorceress, oloch, arcane. The whole thing is about stacking up the sorceress' passive, and you can enhance that with oloch's fire, the balls of the arcane, and the fireball ability. The best thing though in the sorceress is her range, and you can stall enemies with frost lance, and ring of fire. As powerful the golem can be I like the trebuchet more because you can snipe the squishy mages out and get further away from your enemies. Oloch has also a really powerful level 1 wich allows you to focus on leveling your mages. The conpanion is also almost always helpful. Orc cleaver, dark knight, knight, sasquatch can tank, the elf can disable the stun what the mage causes to himself, engineer gives you rurrets to tank or buff curse damage, bombardier has fire, archer has posion, etc.

Bravebark and Orc Cleaver make a amazing duo. I normally add Archer and get another good ranged unit to finish off the squad.
