Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Dubai, part of the United Arab Emirates, an Islamic country.
Now my knowledge on religions is a bit rusty, but isn't alcohol strictly forbidden in Islam?
By threat of public stoning?
How were they able to set a record based on alcohol in a country that declares Islam as the official state religion?

You can drink and have fun on bars in dubai, the rules start on the street, you can´t go around drunk and shout or walk in a zig-zag and so on, it will get you in jail :p
