Hi, they should given the right growing conditions. The fermentation process eliminates potential pathogens, but I've had plants grown from seeds that were not fermented before.
Fantastic video Misilla. Clean and neat. What about the last procedure. Would it be better too use sunlight to dry the cleaned seeds? Get them dry as a soon as possible?
This is a method I have never seen before Misilla. Always great to save seed. I save mine a different way straight onto paper towel. If you get a chance look at my latest video,,it would be good to know your thoughts. Warm regards from Australia Marty & Karin
Early Girl is a Hybrid, so if you save seeds from them, the plant from the seed will NOT be Early Girl. This will work with Heirloom varieties, but not Hybrid's.
Save only heirloom seeds. The hybrid tomato such as Early Girl in the video will not grow into the same variety. Thanks for watching. Misilla
Perfect video. Short sweet to the point. Very descriptive in the video and in the words that you used. Clear voice and clear images. Thank you

Hi, they should given the right growing conditions. The fermentation process eliminates potential pathogens, but I've had plants grown from seeds that were not fermented before.
thank you! does this work for other seeds ?
I've only done this with tomato seeds, because it has the membrane. I'm sure it will work with seeds alike. Thanks for watching! Misilla
Fantastic video Misilla. Clean and neat. What about the last procedure. Would it be better too use sunlight to dry the cleaned seeds? Get them dry as a soon as possible?
Best to do when it's still warm no sun as the sun can damage the seeds' DNA. Thank you Mark.

you sound like miranda sings :)
I store them in my underwear.

Yes, I learned this after making the video, thank you.
Early Girl is a hybrid so the seeds aren't worth saving.
Good reminder, thanks!
Did growing them from seed result in anything unusual/good?
