People do need to remember Zack is ripped and he used a max model where this issue is going to be naturally exaggerated a bit. Also just wear a case, if you don’t trust yourself with a fragile phone you shouldn’t trust yourself with a caseless one cause at the end of the day it all depends on the angle it lands on.
I mean they definitely did make it weaker by moving that metal panel off of the inside of the back glass but it’s not nearly as big of a deal as people are making it out to be, this isn’t the next bendgate, this is more of the next cameragate, remember that from last year? Yeah neither does anyone else, it lasted a week before everyone forgot.

Jerry has done the same testing with other pro max models in his past videos where it had withstood this same testing... and this issue is only with 15 pro max models... not the pro models... so what I learnt from his video is, if you put some weight in the back glass accidentally, it tends to crack easily than the previous years pro max-es... otherwise nothing will happen to the back glass... if you drop any phone from a certain height, it'll break because GLASS IS GLASS AND GLASS ALWAYS BREAKS ... But one thing really bothers me that how many Apple FANBOYING TECH-YOUTUVERS are just, at this point, mocking Jerry for his good physique and blaming his strength for cracking the back glass, Like he intentionally has put more force to break the glass this year... if this really have been true, other years' pro max models would have fallen too in his hands...but in the teardown video he clearly showed the structural fault (the back glass in front of wireless charging, has no metal support which creates a thin gap between the back glass the magsafe) that Apple introduced in order to MAKE THE BACKGLASS REPAIR MORE AFFORDABLE.... No one is blaming apple for this drawback in their design... like what's the point of getting a lower repair price if the said product is more prone to break?

Interestingly enough, some people are having heat issues and a lot of people are loving their experience thus far. Take it out of the case and try that", even dared him too. He didn't have anything to say about it.
I even said that it's the older iPhones that would break easily, not the newer ones, and he said I saw a guy (probably jerryrig) bend the phone and break it.

Jerry Riggs everything is a strong man in general. The phone only failed his test is because the glass is now removable making it cheaper to replace and easier to replace on the Pros. But on the Pros they don’t have a metal reinforced back glass as the regular 14 and 15.

The problem is that it was just pressure at the right place at the wrong time that caused a break. I mean, there's a case and argument to be made on how this shouldn't happen anyway way. It might be easy to dismiss in a vacuum, but you can see how it seems worrying from his perspective, even if to others it may be out of the realm of possibility that it will break. Regardless of the case, glass inevitably is still glass and glass breaks.

Durability test gatta be taken with a grain of salt. The bend test only really applies to people who put their phone in their back pocket and sit on it. Normal drops will shatter that glass, "$250, please"-Apple/Samsung.
But we get to see how much pressure or what force can break it. I thought it was crazy when he put sand in the fold, and multiple models passed pretty well. Even though none of them are officially rated against it.
