Drafts aren't typically controlled by a single player and even if they were, a singular bad pick is not directly comparable with draft trends across multiple regions over the duration of Summer split. Also Nemesis didn't even play last year. It's been a while.

Whats his hextech core passive is now? I just read it that when he evolves all the skill it will have a slow effect on all abilities?
When every skill is evolved his R travels faster. The slow you're talking about is the W upgrade and his passive works this way now: instead of buying an item you get shards from CS (1) cannons (5) and takedowns (25), at 100 you can choose an upgrade right away.
@@bravepotatoe7513 when it fully evolves you get a slow from all his abilities. Doesn't mean anything because his damage is horrible and his hextech still takes forever to get.
And he is only useful at full hextech which won't be online till at least 20-25mins in the game. Which he is still lack luster.

To me it's essentially once you get full hextech because the other abilities are pretty much a must grab for everything else.

@@beanpork508 he is too weak early game and doesn’t outscale hard enough. He only becomes a champion once he gets e upgrade , which takes a very long time
People forget that the meta surrounding the champion changes. Viktor was just a comfort control mages that play well within death ball comps looking to out range comps. Teams that picked Udyr/Morgana are wait for it guys... wait for it.. going to pick comps where they fight front to back. Guess what is good with a front to back death ball team comp? A control mage! Now that the picks have diverted from these usain bolt jungle clearing picks we now have a meta that favors dive.
People ignore that Lucian before his nerfs was randomly dropped as well. No region prioritized lucian. It's almost like certain meta picks are predicated on the surrounding champions. Can't wait for next week when people realize orianna is always meta because stronger picks than her are nerfed which make her go from B tier to A tier and people will wonder why Orianna was never picked earlier on.
@@beanpork508 He doesn't offer much in comparison to similar champions like Syndra or Orianna, and if he falls off he falls off terribly while other mages can still have impact from behind
He got nerfed with the phaserush nerfs (at least ir appeared to be a nerf at first sight)

How is that related to pro players being incompetent, we know pro players can be incompetent cause they do things like first but morello and rotate for herald when it’s not worth. Just because he may not be as good as them doesn’t invalidate his point
1) Nisqy is an EU-raised midlaner, you knowing about him because of C9 has nothing to do with his origin.
2) As you may (or may not, but _should_ ) have noticed, Nemesis is a very lane-centric midlaner while Nisqy is basically a tier-3 doinb that plays very strongly around his jungler. Is this a better playstyle? well first it depends on the meta, 2020 favored the roaming mid more and 2021 favored the lane-centric mid more; second it depends on the team. Lane-centric midlaners are more akin to adcs, they usually have big carry potential but need their team to hold on and not fuck up while they do their thing. Roaming midlaners are more akin to supports, they sacrifice individual advantages to try and boost their teammates, but they won't ever be a wincon. FNC decided they wanted to have huge sidelane focus and thus nemesis wasn't good for them, same as if you have chovy and expect him to play on FPX.
3) Him pointing out stupid decisions by currently-employed midlaners while being a FA doesn't make him wrong XD
Not that he wouldn't commit the same stupid mistakes, but he's not wrong about the shit he mentions.

We've already seen people say that kaisa got out of the meta because of "meta changes", when literally nothing about her changed (HoB nerf is irrelevant and still picked), it's not a surprise they'd do the same for viktor
riot nerfed her Q twice (damage and cooldown)
Kaisa is pretty much unplayable because of her low attack range compared to other ADCs, while being forced to build full dps. She doesn't have waveclear because of the huge Q nerfs either, basically useless
Hail of Blades nerf is actually kinda huge for her because iirc Hail of Blades cools down while still in combat now, so she used to have a burst of attack speed every like 8 seconds in-combat or not, but now it's 12, a 50% increase.
Not to mention that they nerfed her Q pretty hard to decrease it's waveclear which makes early lane harder to play safely.

Its not always about the champ itself. Champs can fall out of the meta if other champs get buffed. Nemesis is very dumb even tho he was a pro player at the highest level
