    The ball was half way to the rim when Zaza took that extra step. Kawhi even landed about 2 feet behind where he jumped from and Zaza's foot was still there. Intentional without a doubt. Dirty ass player. Should be suspended if you ask me.

    • @Raptorel
      @Raptorel 7 років тому +73

      That's absolutely correct. There is no doubt it was intentional, the shot was long gone and he still took an additional step, and it wasn't because he had "so much momentum that he couldn't stop".
      Obviously intentional.

      Raptorel according to Google, momentum is the quantity of motion of a moving body, measured as a product of its mass and velocity.
      BUT why did zaza took an extra step? thats not momentum because he baited kawhi to shoot the ball and zaza taught to put a foot on landing spot of kawhi. that was absolutely intentional. watch the video. THATS A TRAP!!!!

    • @superlucci
      @superlucci 7 років тому +5

      What relevance does the position of the ball in the air have anything to do with the momentum Zaza created while contesting the shot? If you look at the replay there is no reason to think a big dude like zaza can just stop on a dime simply because his 2 feet came down, one after the other

      Isaac Silva: Why do you need rules to know that if you don't allow space for the opposing player to land, he could possibly land on your foot & if his body weight's shifted wrong w/ too much pressure, he could tear a ligament or & or possibly brake the ankle? Anyone that's been taught proper defense & how to close out on the shooter, understands this was an intentional play. Did he know Kawai was going to land on his foot, no, but he understood the possibilities & he understood the close out technique he went to was wrong. Many people don't know how to play defense & they're taught by coaches that don't understand defense & all they tell them is close out on the shooter as fast & aggressive as you can, yet never showing them the technique to it. Zaza is an NBA vet of 10 years, he knows how to play defense & knew what he was doing.!

    true respect to Popovich for saying what too many are afraid to say. What Zaza did was not natural in the least and that extra shuffle imho was deliberate. even if momentum(which it didn't, his momentum was already slowed greatly and he wasn't even going fast in the first place on the close-out to require an extra step) took Zaza another step on the close-out. he decided not to take that extra step to the left or two the right but he decided to stick it directly underneath Kawhi's left foot landing area. extremely dirty and disgusting.

Also before, Kawhi rolled his ankle on David Lee, his own teammate, you mine as well say the teammate did it on purpose too. Yall have nothing to support your opinion. Take him out. And no, Zsa Zsa did not do this on purpose. I'm sure POP knows all about Bruce Bowen! Dirtiest player ever... a little hypocritical, imho.
    Regardless, (Zsa Zsa) he should know better. A close out is fine. But you have to give player a place to land. Period. And they called him for a foul.

    and for those saying how about david lee injuring kawhi first, hey, jumping from a stool vs jumping off a 10 storey high building, which one is dangerous? He accidentally stepped on lee's foot while running, and he stepped on pachulia's foot coming off a high jumpshot! Which one did the serious damage? Go figure!
