I get the reason you’d want them to run, but you have to consider this, Emma took a very serious blow to the head, running would shake her a lot and likely worsen the injury faster. Doesn’t really make it less frustrating but they really couldn’t do much more than they did in the moment.

(His childhood bully and Taiju being exceptions along with some few other times). Also mildly frustrating for the gang to have this self righteous, no fighting dirty schtick while you're being jumped and beat with pipes. If mikey and Draken weren't literally inhuman their gang would literally die

1. I'm really glad they animated the Lil Baji-Mikey-Emma backstory chapter. I was waiting for that chapter to get animated for so long. Seeing Lil Baji with Mikey and Emma... so cute!!! 🥰🥰🥰 Also in the colored version of TokRev manga, Lil Baji was shown to be wearing a blue beat instead of a white belt while Mikey was wearing a white belt just like in this episode. And blue belt represents the sky that the plant is growing and stretching up towards. A blue belt is an intermediate rank in martial arts. It typically indicates a level of proficiency and understanding of the techniques and principles of the art, meaning the student’s knowledge is expanding and growing. The specific requirements and criteria for achieving a blue belt vary depending on the style and organization. Some martial arts may have additional levels or sub-ranks within the blue belt level, such as "blue stripe" or "blue tip." In general, a blue belt is considered to have a good understanding of the basics and can execute techniques with some skill and control and is given to students at the stage of their studies when they begin to learn additional knowledge of the martial art that allows their minds and bodies to continue to grow and develop. I just realized that in the backstory from the beginning of the episode, we saw three people who were very important and dear to Mikey - Shinichiro, Baji, and Emma - all of them are dead now. 😭😭😭😭😭
The slowly realization of: Where is Emma in the future? And suddenly... BAM!!! I swear, Emma was the worst death of the whole manga, because i's so painful for everyone (Mikey is just broken after that, no more silly and smiling Mikey). And so sudden... We can't even get mad at Takemitchy, because nobody saw that coming! Liden films did a great job animating this chapter, it was even more painful in the anime! You should watch the ending of this episode, it was a special ending with Emma as the protagonist... Really heartbreaking! Also, the episode starts losing color right after Mikey sees Emma in the floor, such a really great way of showing what Emma's death means to Mikey T.T About why Izana agrees with the plan...Well, he's not exactly the most mentally stable person out there, we will see more of that, but Shinichiro's death kinda broke Izana too, not only Mikey. We can see that he stops smiling the two times that he looks at Emma, he obviously have conflicted feelings about that! (but I'm biased with Izana) Ps: Toman doesn't have Mikey and Draken anymore, the fight is that afternoon 😭 In the Manila timeline, Taiju explained that Toman and Tenjiku made a deal and boths gangs combined in one. That was why, because Mikey and Draken couldn't fight. It was probably really easy for Izana to aproach Mikey after Emma's death and, since Takemitchy wasn't there in that timeline, nobody saw that Kisaki was who killed Emma, Mikey probably thought it was an accident.
Yk what I do like about this, mikey may be one of the strongest physically but mentally, he is just like gojo, they need a moral compass, close ones by their sides, people he loves to elevate his spirit. Similar to how Gojo has Geto to give him an idea of what's right and what's wrong, people like Shini, Baji and Emma were mikey's safety net before he loses himself to the dark side and gets exploited by kisaki. Meaning takemitchy has a huge role for the story even though he isnt the strongest, he resembles shinichiro "will" which can really effect the story. Hell even in the flashbacks shinichiro acts like how takemitchy acts especialy with "no girls" 😂😂
The fact they took out every other captain, like, of course Takemichi would 100% assume Kisaki (who literally tried to take him out two episodes prior in the future) would be swinging for him.
@@11Ky I know and that's the issue.....he didn't really do anything wrong it's just that he made the connection and then didn't jump in to save her he just covered himself....realistically there's nothing he could've done to save her but I still feel like he had a few seconds to react and jump in after realizing she's not alive in the present

If anything that was hella smart for him to come that close to figuring it out and idk if you know but this happened in a matter of seconds anime slowed it down to show everything but there was no time react plus kisaki himself killed Emma why would takemichi think this coward who always has someone else do the dirty work unless I’m involved is trying to kill an innocent girl.

Him being manipulated doesn't make him less innocent than Kisaki. It is HIS fault for being too naive to get manipulated to the point that he let his own sister being murdered. Never try to justify what he did to Emma. If he had truly cared about her, he would've never allowed it. He is as much culprit in Emma's death as Kisaki is.

Takemichi is mentally strong ..no matter what he never back down...it has nothing to do with other character. if you want to be mentally strong you have to experience many hardships..and takemichi experience it. he also stand up for anyone no matter what. most characters of tr dependents on takemichi and even consider takemichi their hero... especially mikey...mikey considered takemichi strong and it was addressed in the manga ( I don't know why some people in the fandom don't appreciate takemichi..even though he is the character doing so much for everyone. Takemitchi didnt reconize izana cause it was dark when he got shot and hes never seen present izana. i mean remember its 12 years into the future so its expected that certain things change about appearance. But its still goofy cause like bro who else would it be? Who else in a tenjiku uniform would be at shinichiros grave on this particular day? An dim not a doctor but i think whith head trauma victims shaking them too much can make any damage worse. This was just another tragedy in mikeys life cause by kisaki.
If Takemichi had protected Emma there and been killed by Kisaki, his revenge would have ended there. Like Baji's death, Emma's death can be said to be a butterfly effect to change the future, a compensation that occurs every time there is a time leap... There is a limit to what can be saved. Also, Takemichi's poor thinking ability is probably due to the fact that his academic ability is only up to middle school. He became Kiyomasa's slave, suffered a lot, and ran away because he didn't like it. Also, Takemichi is simply not very smart.
I wouldn't call him not very smart but rather a little slow to come to solutions and conclusions. He'll get there but he takes an extra minute to clock into it.
As someone who read the manga I can say that the animators did an amazing job on this season and particularly on this scene. It's the same as the manga, everything it's just as I read it. I was so scared to finally see this scene animated. Loved your reaction Mike
15:45 Honestly same. I've been screaming "Kisaki you B***H!" whenever he is to blame for someone's death. I screamed so loud when I read Emma's death in the manga because it happened in the past meaning Takemichi can't use time travel to save her. Emma was truly the nexus point in Takemichi's time travel journey, but realized it too late.
I honestly forgot emma died in the manga caught me by surprise but man now im certain mikey draken and takemichy are on a warpath straight to kisaki and tenjiku. The fact in the end emma was one person keeping mikey in the light alongside shinichiro makes the fall a lot more heartbreaking. And the flashbacks emma got dealt a lousy hand in life her mom practically abandoned her to be a deadbeat vermin, izana was taken into a foster home away from his sister and feeling like she wasnt loved; only to find a family in the sano bros. And toman that truely loved her and was willing to move heaven and earth for her. Izana im certain just doesnt care anymore hes to far gone that he was willing to take out emma. All im gonna say its gonna be mikey vs izana and kisaki vs draken and takemichy cause that vile snake of kisaki needs to go down once and for all.
Emma's death was the second death in a manga that made me cry bc of how unexpected it is, you just don't expect anything to happen to her until Takemichi starts drawing his conclusions. I find it surprising that female characters are always key in Tokyo Revengers. Emma was Mikey's emotional support, Yuzuha was Taiju's real killer, and Hina is the reason the plot exists; I love how Wakui handled his female characters. Get ready, because from now on things are going to get VERY SERIOUS.
So that's the theory Emma is the biggest reason for mikey Is in dark We never once thought were is emma in future we always forgot her 1st Mikey lost his brother mikey lost his childhood friend baji Now Mikey lost his sister emma if we win this fight against tenjiku then nothing will change Mikey is in darkness know after this arc we will se toman downfall and Mikey too💔😭 Emma rip❤️
It’s not his fault he couldn’t have stopped Kisaki and Hanma’s bike moving that fast maybe he could have pushed Emma out of the way since he saw them coming but it’s real tough to say the one responsible 100% is Kisaki

With a head injury like that she should've been put on a stretcher carefully and transported on a smooth running vehicle (ambulance). If they run they would jostle her and make her die faster.

This episode was a turning point. We now understand where Mikey lost it, and we can't change what happened. There is no going back for Mikey, Draken or Takemichi. All he can do is a Yeager, and keep moving forward. Tatakae.
I would🙋🏽♂️…It’s an emergency isn’t it better to hurry up and get there quicker so that the patient can receive medical treatment in time clearly walking didn’t help at all cause she died anyway I’d rather she’s a little dizzy from my running than dead by the time I get there if I was walking that’s just my humble opinion😁
This was tragic and heartbreakin. Especially after seein Emma's backstory, I was shocked. She didn't deserve that. Idk how Izana could approve of the idea of gettin his own sister killed. I hope Kaku eventually defects from Tenjiku after that. Kisaki is straight psychotic, man. I wanna know exactly what his objectives are for him to go this far. I'm worried about how far this is gonna plunge Mikey into a deeper darkness.
a pothole I seen on this anime is everytime Mikey turned into evil, there's always no Emma on it and it's actually absurd how Takemichi didn't even notice it.. one of the root of Mikey's evilness is definitely Emma's death
She suffered a massive blow to the head, and its basic knowledge that if someone has suffered a head injury do not move them abruptly, and if you can help it don't move them at all.
Just like mikey got controlled by kisaki and killed everyone izana was also controlled by kisaki because of his past kisaki used izana to create tenjiku and did these things
Kisaki sure knows how to manipulate people, and that’s what makes him so dangerous. He took somebody as broken and empty as Izana and uses him to do his bidding, sadly Izana doesn’t have the will anymore to fight back. R.I.P Emma💔 I was really dreading this episode and this isn’t even the saddest episode in this season IMO😭

Takemichi is not mentally strong, if it wasn't for Hina, Naoto, Chifuyu, Inui, and other characters he wouldn't make it far.

Takemitchi didnt reconize izana cause it was dark when he got shot and hes never seen present izana. i mean remember its 12 years into the future so its expected that certain things change about appearance. But its still goofy cause like bro who else would it be? Who else in a tenjiku uniform would be at shinichiros grave on this particular day? An dim not a doctor but i think whith head trauma victims shaking them too much can make any damage worse. This was just another tragedy in mikeys life cause by kisaki.

If Takemichi had protected Emma there and been killed by Kisaki, his revenge would have ended there. Like Baji's death, Emma's death can be said to be a butterfly effect to change the future, a compensation that occurs every time there is a time leap... There is a limit to what can be saved.
Also, Takemichi's poor thinking ability is probably due to the fact that his academic ability is only up to middle school. He became Kiyomasa's slave, suffered a lot, and ran away because he didn't like it. Also, Takemichi is simply not very smart.
I wouldn't call him not very smart but rather a little slow to come to solutions and conclusions. He'll get there but he takes an extra minute to clock into it.
I am not completely sure but I think Emma death is aired on the same day as Baji's death.
As someone who read the manga I can say that the animators did an amazing job on this season and particularly on this scene. It's the same as the manga, everything it's just as I read it. I was so scared to finally see this scene animated. Loved your reaction Mike

I honestly forgot emma died in the manga caught me by surprise but man now im certain mikey draken and takemichy are on a warpath straight to kisaki and tenjiku. The fact in the end emma was one person keeping mikey in the light alongside shinichiro makes the fall a lot more heartbreaking. And the flashbacks emma got dealt a lousy hand in life her mom practically abandoned her to be a deadbeat vermin, izana was taken into a foster home away from his sister and feeling like she wasnt loved; only to find a family in the sano bros. And toman that truely loved her and was willing to move heaven and earth for her. Izana im certain just doesnt care anymore hes to far gone that he was willing to take out emma. All im gonna say its gonna be mikey vs izana and kisaki vs draken and takemichy cause that vile snake of kisaki needs to go down once and for all.
Emma's death was the second death in a manga that made me cry bc of how unexpected it is, you just don't expect anything to happen to her until Takemichi starts drawing his conclusions. I find it surprising that female characters are always key in Tokyo Revengers. Emma was Mikey's emotional support, Yuzuha was Taiju's real killer, and Hina is the reason the plot exists; I love how Wakui handled his female characters.
