There was a general cargo ship that docked Friday...I guess that one didn't matter.

This time build l1,000 yard islands around the bridge supports.

I was hoping they were going to to find the last innocent victims before someone made the exclamation " back to work!" Sad.

If they cutting up and removing small sections of the very large fallen bridge section laying on the port side of and bow of this Container Ship first.
Then afterwards move over to the Starboard side of the Container Ship, to start cutting up and removing small sections of the other very large fallen bridge section on the Starboard side and bow too
There is a risk of the Container Ship being more damaged, or the bow being pushed sideways into the main channel or into the soft bottom.
Instead they may work from both outer ends of these two very large fallen bridge sections, which are in the water and towards the Container Ship's Port and Starboard hull sides and bow.
in the hope the remaining fallen bridge sections section fall away from the Container Ship not towards it, then it becomes much easier to remove bridge sections from the water and bottom, than from on top and around the Container Ship with less risk to the ship's bow and hull too.
It still will be a fine balancing job, of cutting and supporting remaining very large bridge sections too.
It maybe a good idea though, to remove as many or all the above deck undamaged Shipping Containers, from the Container Ship as possible, first on to barges and return them to the Port of Baltimore too, to lighten this Container Ship for refloating and fulling out backwards by tugboats.
the one question no one answered, once the Container Ship is refloated and clear of the bridge too, what happens to this very damaged Container Ship and where will she being taken too?
As no way is she sea worthy or safe to cross the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, go through the Suez Canal, then risk the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. Afters cross the Indian ocean into the South China Seas heading for Singapore her home port, or go back to South Korea where she was built, for major repairs!
So is there somewhere on the American Eastern Seaboard, this Container Ship can be taken under tow and escort from tugboats, for repairs and dry docking (which can hold a 1,000 feet plus long ship) for inspection alone?
As the only American Dry Dock facilities that are that big, on the Eastern Seaboard, are the ones for US Navy Aircraft Carriers, are they not?
So what does happen to this Container Ship, once refloated, just left somewhere in Baltimore at anchor or long side a pier etc for the next coming months or years?
