FIRE IN THE HOLE 🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥
Honestly, this park can do no wrong. The original will only be missed a bit given how thoroughly this version will carry on the legacy.
Weather is better or worse it will never be the same. Oh we bought our families season passes which we haven't done in a few years starting with covid. Looking forward to riding the new fire in hole. The old one will be demolished and there's a 5-year plan. You just have to know where to go and who to talk to find out something. I'm glad we got to ride it one more time.

fire in the hole 🟢🟢🟢🟢
I’m glad I love the original and was sad to see it was being shut down. Can’t wait for the new one!
I went to SDC for the first time 3 years ago. I was so impressed with the park in general and had a great time. One thing that really stood out was how nice and happy all the staff was. You can tell they really enjoy being there and truly care about the park.
Definitely plan on visiting again within the year.
So excited! I declare this is SDC’s step into a new era of major expansion and domination of the industry!
FIRE IN THE HOLE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🕳️🕳️🕳️🕳️
I'm so unbelievably excited for this!!
Man, when I heard the original was being closed this year I nearly shed a tear...but this is exactly what I needed to hear!
Thank you silver dollar city~
I have never been to this park but now I’m gonna plan to go. The creativity of this video is superb. It’s telling a story while building the excitement of a new ride. “Well done” to the team that made this video! 🔥 🕳️
@@spittinvenom9843 ok cool will do! And I always wanted to see the lakes at the Ozarks so I’m totally gonna plan this trip! Do they have anything like a fast pass or the like? Or is it not really needed? Thank you!
@@warrenguy76 my boy and I spent three full days at this park and although we did go mid week, and the crowds were not as big, we were able to do everything we wanted as many times as we wanted because we spent every day there from rope drop to sundown. We caught a few shows and wandered the entire park and went into every single shop and talk to a lot of the local people who work there, and do not forget the cave, you must do the two hour cave tour, and you should book it in advance, and they also have a VIP option. I always said that if I needed a fast pass, I would get it on the third day, but as it turns out we did not need it and we stayed at a lovely little motel (Fall Creek Inn) about 20 minutes away as part of a package. It is a God Tier park that you will love and it is one of our favorites and we have been to over one hundred!!!
@@warrenguy76it’s not needed but there is a fastpass called a trailblazer, and if you have a gold or diamond pass, for the first hour the park is open, it’s a trailblazer
FIRE IN THE HOLE ‼️‼️ 🔥🔥🔥🕳️🕳️🕳️
normal difficulty
Parks have been killing it with announcement videos! Holiday world and this! Can’t wait! Gonna def take a trip to MO!! I need to extend my credit count
don't forget the announcements from Dorney Park and Cedar Point as well
FIRE IN THE HOLE 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was so gutted one of my favorite childhood rides was going away...sure it was well-past being a viable attraction, but the nostalgia kept me riding it every time I came to the park. THIS announcement made my day. I cannot wait to ride!!!
AAHHHH!!! It looks like they are staying pretty faithful to the original. I’m so excited!
I'm going!
Heck yes! Love Silver Dollar City. Nice to see this one coming back!
This is so good thank you so much for making this I like the fire in the hole coaster🤩
Excited to see how a family RMC ends up riding!
Absolutely Outstanding
This is an aspect of Silver Dollar City that I just LOVE. They know their history and love to acknowledge it.
Now I gotta find the music they were playing in the background!
I went to SDC for the first time in 1968. It was enjoyable then and remains so to this day. Great family fun!
This is amazing! Great Addition ❤😊 i’m going to definitely one day come out to Silver Dollar City
Oh, so that’s what happened to old 82, rebuilt and repurposed for the new Fire in the Hole. Good work, it’ll be nice to hear her sound her whistle. And as we say on the Frisco, FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!
This looks awesome! Can't wait!!
Blazing Fury next? 👀
The part we're all here for: 1:31 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I loved the original but I’m excited for the new fire in the hole
I can't wait to go check it out. I haven't gone to Branson for seven years now and used to go annually for summer family vacations. New ride will be even more exciting experience for today's generation, and now that it will be in the Fireman's Landing area that opened back in 2015 on the site of the now-defunct Geyser Gulch.
2024 is the year of family coasters and boomerangs.
And it’s gonna be an RMC too!! 🙌🏼 elite!
Man, I am Happy Fire In the Hole is Being Remade. I Loved This Ride growing up. :D
I'm excited that Herschend & SDC are once again working with RMC, who will be conducting the Fire In The Hole rebuild/renovation. 😁👍
Yeeeessss!! This is amazing! And did anyone notice a roller coaster in the background of the final shot? It’s not currently there! Are they hinting at a new thrill coaster. It looks like a hyper!!
Looks like a camelback to me, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they get a hyper next
@@BurgerInATux that does make sense. But I'm keeping my hopes high! It is one of the main gaps in their lineup.
@@raptorwill59453 honestly I'd think they'd succeed from a hyper but my predictions are for Dollywood to get a B&M Giga
Please turn the figures into animatronics for the new ride. Please. Want the best quality like a disney ride.
Great to see y’all working with RMC again!
You would think in the five times I rode FIRE 🔥 IN THE HOLE on December 30th that I would have heard THE ORIGINAL THEME SONG at least once. I just wanted the first trains going out in 1972. December 30 2023 I was on the second to the last public train ride. On one of my rides there was a man that was probably in his mid-sixties and he was telling the woman with him that if anybody took his picture they would have to destroy it. I was right behind him I should have taken the picture but did not. On the very last public train there was a 7 year old boy riding it for his first and last time. I found a special interesting cuz that was approximately the age I was when I rode it for my first time. I found interesting that both the boy and the older gentlemen were the first time riders on the same day. The last day of the coaster. If I knew there was giving away souvenirs such as part of the track I would have registered. But I was okay with writing it on the last day. And I got to ride it four more bonus times on top of that so 5 total. On the 3rd to last ride that I took they closed it for maintenance. Some people left but I said well that's fitting because how many times has fire in the hole been closed for breaking down 👇?? No I'm sure they're going to make it more modern now that's what I was told. I asked if they were going to trade in the sock hats for the white Hood? After all this is what the ride was about a bunch of thieving White supremacist. It provided a fun look but a great historical view of our past. The past we never should have had and we should never want again. But it's still around supremacy. Nowadays you got black supremacist Latina supremacists and more. You think we would learn by now. Well I'll be interested I made this trip of several hours just to be in silver Dollar City on the final ride day. Thank you all who didn't think they want to wait in line and it would be really long. Because it made the line shorter for the rest of us who did show up. Anybody else remembers when they would take a momentarily pause and we would hear an explanation or story of what was going on? A few of us remember that. The sad thing is that many of us have memories of people who are no longer with us. They rode that ride. Regardless of how good the replacement turns out to be or not. It will never be the same. Can it be better? Of course it could be but we'll have to wait and see.
Classy way to honor the past and older fans while bring the park more up-to-date and appeal to new fans.
They need a B&M invert after this
they already worked with b&m, mack, arrow, rmc, s&s, and others, i think for the next one they could work with vekoma to build a motorcycle dueling coaster themed to riding around the ozarks on horseback, or possibly a ride with intamin to build a bobsled coaster/water ride hybrid thats themed to riding down the ozarks, but what do I know?
Terrain Hyper Coaster out past Powderkeg. You heard it here first. The overview @1:41 teases one.
¡WATER ON THE HILL!
Every single iconic moment from the original is here! I’m sooo happy about that!! Please please make sure to recycle the cricket sound effects from the beginning. I do also hope some audio will be played in the environments not just through the on board audio. The artwork gives me such great hope that this will be everything it should be!! Can’t wait to see it!!
yea but i wish every sfx is turned down a little so we can here the music
Yea the crickets and bob white sounds are super nostalgic in this ride!
Best part is we are getting the original layout, back before it was shortened!
FIRE IN THE HOLE 🔥 🕳
I hope you guys keep everything from the original, especially the unsettling painting at the end of the ride. You know the one if you looked up there. It would be cool if there were some new stuff as well, and I heard that some scenes were removed in the 80s for waiting times or something, it would be thrilling if those were back.
I rode the ride yesterday, and it's pretty much the exact same thing as the original. No new scenes really.
Can’t wait to ride this!
I can't wait to hear the full version of the song.
So if you want to find the hole song version just search fire in the hole song o hope i helped ;)
The timing couldn’t be anymore poetic
Can't wait! I'm happy they're carrying on the legacy of this ride
So excited to ride it!
2.2 reference
I’m very excited that they are remaking this ride so future generations can enjoy!
I went on the old fire and the whole for the last time and I loved it now I can’t wait to see the new one XD
More indoor family rides, please!
I don't see anyone talking about how awesome the updated ride theme song is, and that's a travesty.
Yes!! I memorized some of the original because of how much I loved it. It’s so wonderful to hear it in a new way! I hope it’ll be more prominent in the park/ride!
Thank you for keeping the original name ❤️
I really need to visit a Herschend park.
Patrick: "Let's take Fire in the Hole, and push it somewhere else." 🤣
This looks like it's gonna be a 1 to 1 remake. Nostalgia in me is excited, and I assume it's gonna be a much improved remake, even if that just means rust isn't eating the ride trains. But I hope they at very least do something to improve parts where it's just traveling through long pitch black hallways between scenes. Preferably we won't have any *incidents* (RIP) on this new ride either...
Yeah I’m just hoping they bring back the organ music that played in the town scene before the 2019 season
Let’s go this is an insane ride
proud to call this my home park ❤
I had a very spicy dinner last night and I had fire in the hole this morning 😮
I’ve never been to Silver Dollar City but this ride looks awesome!
I can't wait until 2024 comes out
Im so super excited ❤❤❤❤❤
Love it!
Waited 2 and a half hours to ride it on the first day. If I didn't know better I'm not sure I would have known I wasn't on the old one. The exact same ride, looked like mostly the same old technology a little spruced up and a smoother track.
OMG I LOVE THE THEME OF THIS!! I will miss the original one. I rode the original one in 2022. I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE NEW FIRE IN THE HOLE!!
Silver dollar city is the best! Excited for this ride.
I grew up on Baldknobbers, Presleys, and SDC!! I can't wait to take my 7 year old here in 2024!!!
Thanks
Wishing my home park will do something like this...
The name makes me laugh. Hey, let's go ride Fire in the Hole 😂
Awesome, glad to see this
They should bring back the Ozark Wildcat from Celebration city next
This looks excellent!
cant wait to ride the new fire in the hole
Stoked for this
Well since they also own Dollywood, the same ride is basically at Dollywood called Blazing Fury. I'm excited to visit this park and try this version
It’s about time😤
Great marketing , always wanted to visit this park and now I think i definitely will
YES! What can I say but YES YES YES! love it
Fire in the hole
Hopping hubcaps
yesiiiirrrrrr hahaah i love this ride ! glad its getting a remake!! the mine needs to be next hahaha
This sounds like a Ken Burn documentary!
I do hope they make the story more prevalent than the original one. My sister has been here, actually a month ago, and she said there wasn't really any obvious story.
Incredible
WOAH THIS IS SO COOL
YES I KNEW IT YESSSSsss
This is flipping adorable.
DUDE LETS GOOO
Loved the original! So I’m stoked, but not adding a drop track in the bridge scene is a bit of a missed opportunity. But who am I kidding this is going to be amazing!
They probably will have that since it was part of the original. I just took the artwork as the riders being able to see a model bridge in the distance among the sets, then have an actual drop at the real bridge, but we'll just have to wait and see. I'm excited for this!
@@Hadassah635 oh no sorry, I know it will have drops. im taking about drop tracks which are when the track itself drops like 5 ft, kinda like a droptower mid ride.
YESSSS!
Yeeeeehaaaaa! I love these Herschend parks
lol same ride at Dollywood
I love the fact they’re carrying on the original spirit but seeing the dreaded seat dividers on the cars is sad, I enjoyed how roomy the original trains were haha
If this goes over well and I suspect it definitely will then maybe a Dollywood upgrade could be in the future?
This is going to be Missouri's largest indoor roller coaster in 2024!
