We enjoyed the 800 kms ride Namma Bengaluru to Chikmagalur via Shettihalli(Hassan) and back to Bengaluru. We were ready to hit 100kms more.. Hey Fathima, I took the kuppanur route only this last week.. but the route taken in this video is the Bommudi route. It is longer than the kuppanur route.

Bro Do you think Hornet is the best option in 150-160 segment for an average guy whose rides include: 30+30kms daily to office, not an adrenaline rush guy, concerned about braking, not really a maintain well guy and also tour rarely on a bike.
Also if you have seen any shortcomings on this bike please mention that also..
The bike is really gr8 for ur requirements.... Few cons in ma opinion myt be the flashy stickers and build quality issues (since there were lot of em comin from the owners) other than that its a really gr8 offering in its segment :D tho i feel this bike was meant for commuting only and not touring (jst ma opinion)
Yes this bike meets it requirement. I too use it for daily commute. Done 29k so far till now I never felt that I should upgrade to new one.. great bike.
