San Angelo State Park DInosaur Trail

This is part of the Dinosaur Trail at San Angelo State Park just outside of San Angelo Texas. This trail is supposed to be 2.11 miles long. It is marked (and therefore easy to follow) for a good bit of the trail. It was 96° F so I started out with 80 ounces of water for what I thought should take about 60 minutes. After hiking for 1.5 hours and the end of the trail no where in site, I decided to turn back to where I started from. I also turned on the GPS and recorded my trek back to the trail head. When I arrived at my starting point it had been over 3 hours and 3.2 miles. This made the 2.11 mile hike a nearly 6.5 mile hike. I did manage to ration my water and make it back to the starting point with an ounce or two left. I also wore my hiking boots (supposedly there are rattlesnakes here) that I hadn't worn in about five years. Today I am hobbling around with one of the worst blisters I have ever had.

Do you have a special camera? Stabilizer? Just curious.

Yes. It is called a Gimble. Not expensive. It does a great job. I just use my phone attached to the Gimble as a camera.
