Cabin Fever Movie Review

- I review Cabin Fever, the original, NOT the pointless remake.
Five college graduates rent a cabin in the woods and begin to fall victim to a horrifying flesh-eating virus, which attracts the unwanted attention of the homicidal locals.

The leg shaving scene gets to me everytime and you had to play it twice. Nice.
You could’ve skipped it you know..
@@christiandog3450 the point of the scene is to make you unsettled and uncomfortable, why would I skip it?
"She's making her own gravy(6:22)"😂😂😂
Yea and when I first saw that scene I was chewing on some bubblegum so it just left a real dirty taste in my mouth. nice
That bit is so annoying
That ending with the old man and the rifle felt like a Scary Movie joke, it was pretty funny tho
This criminally underated chanel, this man is funny
It amazes me that kids like me weren't walking around riddled with disease and parasites. I played in mud, rolled on the ground, splashed in puddles with bare feet.
HOW DID I SURVIVE??
shit you too man? When I was a spry plague bearer, I stepped on a piece of wire in some septic water. Foot swelled like a balloon and drained for days, but no disinfecting or bandages, it's a wonder I didn't get septic shock or whatever.
I visited a junk yard with my dad once and scraped my wrist on a dirty as heck pipe. 💀
@William Humphrey well vaccines prevent all that from happening.
I got cut with a tiny rusty blade when I was five and almost died 💀 tell me your secrets
Not that this is a contest but i ATE mud
The asmr made me wanna put Listerine in my ears.
🤢🤮
It made me want to pour vinegar over her leg😁
I agree with everything you say
And lemon juice 😃
This movie messed with me so much. Also, the remake was bad, and also, they ripped off the opening credit music from *The Shining* if you listen.
Holy shit, really?? That's so crap.
No, the opening music from The Shining is a very very old piece of music used in many movies. So, they didnt rip it off but the movie was still pretty shit
Are they ripping it off or are they paying homage though?
@@frog1405 Its straight up the music.
@@oddeyes9413 ah, I see. Yeah that's fucky
"She sounds crunchy" 😂😂
The listerine swilling “snake" cracked me up. Hilarious review as usual Tom 5 🐝 from me😊
"Pancakes! Pancakes!"
Makes me laugh every time.
"Damn it! What pancakes you f^ck???!"
How does he only have about 40.000 Subscriber when his content is this Amazing ?!
Unlike the kid in Deliverance, this one had a choice between martial arts and a banjo.
I thought this film was pretty meh. Highest grossing, emphasis on "gross." I much prefer "The Cabin In The Woods," which is my favorite horror movie. But I also love "Happy Death Day." The humor just fits.
I wonder what that says about my sense of humor? Honestly, I can be really bad, very bawdy, but the majority of my jokes are corny puns, quips, and ones I've gotten from reading Archie Comics...since I could read. I've actually gotten some of my "best" comebacks from there.
"Do you take me for an idiot?"
"Sure, sounds like a fair trade."
I’d say happy death day is more so a dark comedy-thriller more than a horror
@@MrTrombonebandgeek Off-hand, I'd almost say you're right, but some of the deaths are just a little bit bizarre enough that keep that "slasher" edge to it...I feel that in Thrillers the deaths are more realistic. But the dark comedy part is spot on.
Cabin In The Woods is flat-out awesome.
The Listerine joke didn't got me. But that "screweeeeeed", omg I laughed like a seal.
Great vid as always btw
These reviews are so witty I love them so much
Eli Roth has one sick imagination. His movies are barbaric whack.
His movies are extremely juvenile, like something written by a smart teen boy who loves horror movies. He just loves blood and boobies, not character development and story.
Idk I think this movie sticks out as his only good one, it’s a dark comedy not really horror. It’s a nod /making fun of old exploitation movies
@@moonlily1 I mean sometimes thats all you really need. Not every movie needs good characters or a good story and not every movie needs to try to be good. Sometimes you really can paint a turd gold.
@@alfsleftnut9224 Well, you need to enjoy it and not feel annoyed by it. I didn't enjoy this movie and I found it annoying.
@@moonlily1 Watched this movie wheen it came out and loved it. Watched it a few times again in the years and I still enjoyed it.
I found it kind of funny when the main character has flashbacks being with the blonde girl in idyllic moments then it rapidly flashes to her exposed teeth, accompanied by her "Don't leave me!!!" quote with follow-up shovel to the face sfx.
Brilliant touch, Eli. That's how you "wrap up" an arc.
And I like how he shoots the dog - one quick kill. But with her - he bashes her brains in with a shovel
That House joke totally got me *XD*
5:24 Why do you need condons when you have Listerine? How do you make it gargle? LMAO!! COMEDY GOLD! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I swear it's so many directors especially Eli Roth underestimate the power of character development and subtlety. It's true people wanna see violence & sex. But if you want it to leave an impact we need to give a s*** about the characters
What a treat. My favorite movie reviewer covering one of my favorite horror movies of all time.
This was the first horror movie I watched alone, I absolutely love this movie. No matter how much shit people give this movie, I think it's great.
I forgot to add that this movie was the reason I used Nair/Veet for 5 years.
5:10 that’s definitely not lupus
So THAT’S the secret to baby smooth skin....
I’ll finish the video later, I’ve got something I gotta go try.
😂😂😂
Don't forget to update us On That!
@@claritzacedillo Guess it ended just like in the movie
i remember seeing the part where she was bleeding from the _yknow_ when i was really young and i remember asking my mom if she cut her leg
The shovel scene is DEFINITELY a mercy kill compared to what happens in the remake. He _burns her alive._
I know this movie is not very good, but I love it! I love how all the characters are blood thirsty sociopaths who will murder anyone at the first given opportunity. The comedy I think is easily the best part, especially the Bert scenes. As a horror movie it mostly fails, and Roth is definitely more of a director than a writer, but this ends up being so entertaining by the end that I can't help but love it!
I think the blonde girl was sweet...the blonde guy was OK..the other 3 were sociopaths for sure though.
For some reason the harmonica in the throat traumatized me the most. One more career off the table. Also considered using nair for a while.
Yay cabin fever with a bit of newBee humor~ - thank you.
The general store in this movie is owned by my family. I got off the school bus at the store as I always did and there was a film crew. I met the entire cast including Eli Roth. I was 6 years old at the time (24 almost 25 now) and my family was invited to the premier. Priddys General Store is the store in the film. Danbury, North Carolina.
NewBee’s quit witted humour can cure depression, protect him at all costs 😂😂😂🙌🏼
found you a few nights ago, and binged most of your videos, keep it up man, it's good stuff!
I'm surprised you didn't bring up the PANCAAAKES!!! part lol
This is one of those movies I loved as a kid and still love today. It has a special place in my heart.
No amount of beer could get me to calm down about the whole situation by 5:20. Nope. That’s a job for a ton of hard liquor. God, I wish I was a lightweight. Drinking is expensive for me.
Loved the jingle at the beginning😂
I’ve had a looong day and it’s Jan. 1, 2022. I’m 25, spending the holidays with a destructive family, and not attending daily therapy because they kicked me out for a minor fever (I’ll start going again next week. It’s going to freeze all this week, and we can’t handle that in San Antonio.) I just… I just REALLY want to look up necrotizing fasciitis pictures, but then if I vomit, I’ll throw up vodka and onion dip, and I think that combination might kill a man.
Something tells me that this will be great.
Cabin Fever is the very definition of "fan disservice"
No it's not Blade ll
@@san_toad Think you meant Blade III
Long time no see sorry I haven’t been around but thanks for the amazing vid bro
That razor scene is always going to be the most disturbing thing I've ever seen
TheNewBee makes morbid hilarious: "She's making her own gravy(6:22)"😂😂😂 I watched this yesterday and I'm still laughing today!
My brother-in-law’s mother died of flesh eating bacteria she got in her own back yard. It still creeps me out.( It was in Washington state)
Can you review “Lazarus Affect” please??
Oooh, good one!
subscribed to the newbee reviews when it still had 200 subs :D
my fav movie review channel
it explains horror movies im too scared to watch :)
I wondered when youd cover this movie! I hope you do all of the movies! They have traumatized me when I accidentally watched this thinking it was a different movie!
This movie put me off shaving for years. I'd only use Veet, until I got a chemical burn because I was stupid and used lotion right after.
@@AFarmerCalledChicken oof but I dont blame ya I was so scared to shave after that scene DX
Thank you for making my night and uploading!
I freaking love your your channel dude
a silkwood reference?! you are my hero
Lmao, that song at the beginning hahaha, oh man, you are just the best.
I love Cabin Fever! Along with Freddy Vs. Jason, Saw, Hostel, and Slaughter Creek!
Dude, you have to review Sleepaway Camp. It’s soo disturbing with an ending that will stay with you for a while. Even though the movie was released in 1983, the ending will keep up with anything made ever since.
I appreciate the reference to the Beverly hillbillies
7:00 that messed me up so bad when I was young, I thought it was Resident Evil 3's Nemesis wife or something.
The shaving scene is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. Beats any SAW trap, any Hostel torture, any Martyrs... Christ. Makes me writhe in pain every time.
I love the random House M.D. intro when they vomit blood, made my day that did XD
Love your review style bruv, thank you for the art.
A long video! Yessssss santa , thank you! Danke! Kudos! ♥️😄
Dr. Mombo and Grimm also make a cameo appearance in 2000 maniacs! Right at the end.
4:58 - When you wake up and try to remember your dream
We have the line in the Rocky Horror participation. After Frank says, "Don't Be upset, it was a mercy killing". We reply, "It was a messy killing"!
Thanks for teaching me how to write necrotizing fasciitis so I can look it up like you told me not to
Great channel! I'm just binging all your reviews this weekend.
This channel is such a hidden jem. This guy is so awesome at reviewing stuff.
Love the mini ecto 1 in the background
I always felt so bad for the wood hobo. Watching this just reminds me how sad I can get
Going thru and binging your videos. Love them all and your humor 🖤
5:24 listerine? More like lieterpeen
And the award for best comment goes too...🏆😂
The moment you put to not look it up in the screen, sentenced me to look it up. Dammit
Same! Don’t you realize that when you say “Don’t “ do something, all that does is make people want to do it more so…?? I still love you NewBee! Funnier than hell 😉
Now we need to get to the sequel and reboot movies.
Thank you for another great review! Any chance you will trailer review/reaction to the new 'Ghostbusters' movie?
This is one of my favorite bonkers movies. So glad you reviewed it. I laughed a lot. 😂😂
i just finished it and i’m fucking shacking. I feel so bad for Karen.. imagine all of what she went thru..
I missed watching move reviews from you so much!! YOU'RE SO FUNNY. (Also that House MD montage!! LOVED IT.)
Just clicked. Addictive channel!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Your videos always make me laugh. Thank you for doing one on Cabin Fever I love this movie.
Young protagonists, kung-fu i mean what can go wrong!? Caught me so off guard with the kung fu
Im in the middle of a dizzy spell and watching people be sick is tickling that "what if" feel
Aren't they making another prequel?
"...the general store, which is a great place to buy nothing specific."
I don't know why this absolutely killed me XD
Your videos are the only thing that brightens up my day ❤️thanks
1:25 Santa is that you..?
I love your reviews! 🌸💕
Her leg sounds exactly like the Fritos I crunched up into some onion dip tonight 😖😬
Nah bro, one more bee. We watched that movie a bunch when it came out. Hostel 1&2 were cool and green inferno was awesome. I grew up watching 70s cannibal films and he nailed the genre. One more 🐝!
Im living for your intro song
Anyone else getting Boy meets World nostalgia?
I know i say this *every* week but, this is your best review yet.
Also you reminded me of a movie about a penis that detaches it's self from its human and seduces then brutally murders girls. Its live action and claymation. If you ever figure out what that movies is i hope you watch it, even if you cant review it (but i hope you do, id actually pay money to see that review)
This was a skin crawler for me. Including the remake.
One of your most funniest yet. Won't ever look at Listerine the same as before.
I think it’s hilarious when people complain about this movie for being too disturbing or for making them uncomfortable. Yeah, no shit, it’s a horror movie. That’s kind of the point.
I really like the House M.D. reference. It’s a pretty good show
The kid doing karate reminds me of the kid doing karate in Smokin Aces. You should review Smokin Aces.
That movie was quite different and reading some facts surrounding the movie is very interesting as well. Great review and thumbs up Bee Man.
It’s funny the party cop was actually in American history x the old man who runs the shop was not tho. From my knowledge at least.
The house md opening got me 😂😂😂😂😂😂
The old shop keeper is my favorite character
Santa Claus and Party Cop are funny :-)
I'll just be forever wondering: what's in the box?!
I love your channel. Currently binging through your content. 💜
The best ending periodt but now my dreams are gonna be filled with thoughts of flesh eating bacteria
You are supremely hilarious and I love your reviews!
I love this movie because of how weird the tone is. Normally that would bother me but here it's just so weird I have to laugh lol. I agree with what you said at the end- it has the potential to be a pretty good body horror movie but the characters are all terrible people and everyone else in the town is like a weird caricature of a person haha
Was that a Band of Horses reference, The General Store/nothing specific line?
