Mustang coilovers: bit.ly/2SBVGY2
In this video I am changing the suspension on my 2016 mustang gt from Eibach lowering springs to Raceland Primo Adjustable coilovers. I initially purchased the Eibach springs because they were cheap but I didn't realize that without also upgrading the struts in my car the handling would be poor. After 6 months on lowering springs I started to have issues with my suspension that made the car wobble and feel unsafe to drive. Also I developed suspension issues like: too much negative camber and scraping from the car being too low.
Raceland sent over some of their coilovers for me to review. So in this video I installed them.
After initially being skeptical about a budget friendly coilover like Raceland, I was happy to fin out that all of my suspension issues were fixed by these coilovers. The mustang handles much better now although it is a bit more of a stiff ride now.
Overall, I am happy that I got these coilovers which are almost the same price as lowering springs but offer you a lot more adjustability and cornering performance.
9:42 when you own a mustang but the family life tho
your car is dope bro and thanks for the honest review! im gonna purchase the ultimos
What did you set your camber to on the top parts of the struts?
Don’t remember exactly but it pushed it as far as possible to 0 degrees because I already had too much camber
Aye another video
Buddy that's a nice car BUT... you've GOT TO paint your rotors & outer edges everything but brake disc surfaces). Think your car looks good with wheels on? Look again..at your brake rotors & you'll see what I mean! 😎
@Grant Long I think he meant calipers, rotors are the discs, but you can paint the hub just not the disc/rotor itself.
👍👍
Buy a German car or sports car to put cheap Asian parts in it.... GREAT! smh!
My only complaint with the Raceland struts is they don't give you any sort of starting point in terms of setting the height.
My lowering springs fucking squeak like crazy in the morning, might have to buy some race lands for my Z.
Did you have original rubber boots on the top of the front shocks and did you use them with the new coilovers ?
Worth to buy for track days or its a waste of time?
And it will help you a lot, if you take before installing old and new one together so you can adjust high on the geound .
You have a wrap on your hood or that’s just a black hood?
I got a set of raceland ultimos on my e46 and they’re pretty comfortable for daily driving. I think they retail for about $440.
I’m looking for some for my G37s
Young Jay there’re worth the money.
Steamin Bimmin F30 can’t find them? On the raceland website they don’t show up for the g. Do u kno anywhere else bro? Also can they ride at stock height?
Young Jay they may not make them for it. I couldn’t find them for my F30, only my E46.
How they holding up now?
Where you been
Nikita L home man lol it was cold outside so I couldn’t do anything on the cars, so no videos 🤷♂️ but I’m back now haha
Romanenko Garage true as long as we got videos now we are sett !!
Nikita L hah thanks man. I’ll try my best
Now for a 98 would it be considered a better ride quality?
xFatal_HD x haha I’m not sure but if your shocks are old and worn I’d think it would be a better ride quality.
