This is still one of the best songs ever created. Pac was such a gem. Gone way too soon.
Most of those great 90s rappers were gone way too soon.
@@Hogginmuck no
even still today 2pac is known in more countrys than another other rapper world wide
Gone but not forgotten ❤
He‘s still the GOAT!
The tracks you wanna start with is "Changes" "Dear Mama" "Keep Ya Head Up", that's the holy trinity of Tupac reactions.
Then his Diss Track "Hit Em' Up" for his Ruthless side...
"So Many Tears" is also a solid and powerful track to begin with.
you forgot hit em up :P
Also Brenda got a baby and unconditional love
then bendas got a baby, thug mansion and from thier it could go anywhere so many good songs
its crazy that 2pac wrote this song in 1992, he was only 21 at the time. The record released in 98, 2 years after his death.
Died at 25, still put out 5 platinum albums after he died. Undisputed goat. Eminem put Bob Dylan second to Pac in vocal writing ability.
He took this song from someone else...ua-cam.com/video/cOeKidp-iWo/v-deo.html
How do u know, he wrote that song in 1992?
I'm 39 years old white guy . This was my first introduction to the genre . I wanna say 94 95 I heard this on b96 here in Chicago and I was drawn . Take away the rap image of Tupac he would of been the first black president if he wasn't killed at 25 in 96. He was so ahead of his time . For someone so young he was and still is a brilliant mind. I heard colleges are even teaching courses on him.
Wish he could of experience Obamas term in office
@@SERGDAJITI always said it makes me truly sad he never got to see Obama elected .
" i'd love to go back to when we played as kids but things changed, and thats the way it is"
i think thats my favorite line in rap
That line hits hard now that I'm older, one of Pac's lines that always stuck with me is from Only God Can Judge Me:
And they say it's the white man I should fear,
But it's my own kind doin all the killin here
Everytime I hear this line, it hurts.
The favorite line is
“ I wake up in the morning and ask my self
Is living worth life or blast my self?”
Tupac wrote/recorded 'changes' back in 1992
He died in 1996 and this song was later released after his death in 1998
Even after death he had one last message for us all
There was way more released that were in archives after his death.
Pretty sure this was on his all eyes on me album
@@jaisce22 Thats a huge grave error my friend, everyone knows the songs on that album. Changes was added on hos greatest hits album after his death
@@animebloodsamples yeah it was greatest hits. So long ago.. had most his albums..
PAC didn’t die in 98 bruh
Tupac was a genius. He was so smart, so down to earth, and he had a vision.
Im from germany and listened to this song a thousand times when i was a teen. Havent heard this in years and this is the first time im reading the lyrics. No joke: i have tears in my eyes right now.
❤
Tupac - Never Had A Friend Like Me ❤
So many of those later produced deeper cut tracks are some of his best and are all time great.
Pac comes into the soul with his lyrics. It's deep.
Damn, seeing his lyrics on the screen like that. Just brought me to tears, we need more raps like this.
I feel your words
@@marvinmcgrath1578 thanks bro
Have you heard "The Bigger Pictyre" by Lil Baby?
When thugs cry is one my favs from Pac.
The OG, not the remix
Yes he's a pretty good Rapper! 👌
Love that song something about it
@@blackbeto6752I disagree.
The remix is better.
@@MichaelRoberts-ln5io u must be 13 years old. That sample and OG drums that sound from the makaveli era are TIMELESS
Rap is meant to rise up the culture and inform people..Tupac did this in such a powerful way.he is truly the greatest rapper of his era
Haven't heard Tupac before (of course I'm aware of his music and story) but Bruce Hornsby and the Range's 'The Way it Is' was huge in the 80's. Tupac picked a great song to sample to tell this story.
Take a deep dive 😃
It's kind of funny how many rap songs are samples from older songs
Beat was remixed for release after his death
@@rossrobertson674 Lol, that is what rap is based off of. Rap is primarily based on sampling without that it probably would of never been conceived. The reason was, was either lack of people who knew how to play an actual instrument lack of funds to orchestrate a beat, faster production not only that rap was heavily inspired especially through vocals which could not be copied. So take a powerful vocal, with a beat. Lower their drums add your own drums wit banging base or kicks with a raspy snare get authorization and make a hit. Thats the ground basics of hip hop.
Keep your head is a good heart filled song towards women by 2Pac
Wonder why they call you b*tch is a better song addressing foul women.
@@hybrid.catastrophic.impact6071 I’d say they’re both great
@@benjaminsanchez4912 Who do you believe in is a great song too
His narrative changed after he was done for sexually assaulting a woman..
2pac will always be the 🐐. He was way ahead of his time.
Es el creator de un estilo que se conoce como hip hop #2pac4ever
@@louisfigueroa5037
Uhhh no, he wasnt the creator. Hip Hop came long before him
@@mikeb2309 Of course, before everyone rapped square, 2pac came with punchline, metric bars, structures, etc.
It breaks my heart that things really haven't changed since Pac left us. RIP Tupac forever
I am so happy to see the younger generation realizing how pac was the goat of rap!! Pac could rap about “my 44 will make sure that all your kids won’t grow” to dear mama and changes and many more!
To see how you started, bobbing your head and jamming... to nearly fighting back tears. This has to be one of the most beautiful and natural reactions ive ever seen. Your face changed the moment he said "two shots in the dark now hueys dead." Thats when you realized this wasnt just a song ❤ keep these coming. Love from canada
Unconditional Love. Unconditional love summarizes a lot of his life
I glad you liked his music. Pacs music is hard for a lot of youth today to understand, growing up and living in the 90s was a lot different than now, but I am watching a lot of things starting to reset to that time frame with all that is going on right now with in our country I still don't think we will reset that far back I hope not. it was a hard time coming up and even in the dark times Pac had a way putting it into a song and make you bounce to it, and in that aspect is why he remains one of the greats even after death.
Pac was ahead of his time. Such a shame hes not with us today. None of the new stuff can hold a candle to the facts he spits. You can just feel his words.
I was locked down when I heard He died. My first time hearing him was Strictly for my niggas. Been a fan ever since. He became The holy Trinity of Hip Hop. He was born, died, and rose again at Coachella. Rest my brother. 😊
PAC was a game changer, lyrically way beyond his years, the way he was able to be whom he was on film as he in person. He never changed, his situations changed he was able to adjust and adapt to what was going on around him… If we the people would learn from him and his music we would be able to learn how to survive with one another!!! After all it is called change
2 PAC ,damn ! Gone way too soon .I was into heavy stuff back in the 90's but 2 Pac was something special and we all knew it.We all knew where we were when it happened.
I'm 45 now and this just reminds me of the way things were in the early 90s with the racial bullshit, gang shootings the Rodney King situation the drug issues I grew up poor single mom 3 boys and no child support living in some shitty trailer parks thinking I had it bad and then was introduced to Dre,Snoop,Cube ect and realized it's so much worse out there and I have always respected these guys to be able to express how they feel on paper and keeping it real its really fucking sad that kids these days need a safe place from words and have no clue what it's like out there dealing with real shit in everyday life. Most anyone under 35 have no clue or real memory of these issues that plagued this country of ours
this is so incorrect black people are still killed in racially motivated attacks so much, black kids grow up hating themselves because of racism. just because violence is less common doesnt mean racism has gotten less bad, just means people are betting at concealing it, and the world is slightly less accepting
I've been hearing rock metal for over 20 years, but I will always love tupacs music it's all over the emotional realm, and facts and truth.
Two artists that go beyond their own genre is 2pac and Michael Jackson. Doesn't matter what genre of music people favor they would say they like these two artists. My local rock station of course only plays rock music but they would also play some Michael Jackson.
Tupac was my hero growing up in 98 I had a shaved head pierced nose and wore bandanas Pac and DMX were EVERYTHING to me R.I.P. to both💯😔....hope u enjoyed it lily👏👏😁
I'm not fan of rap, I'm more of a metal/rock music, but 2pac is the only rapper I'm fascinated by...the guy had so much charisma...
You should check out J.cole they are on similar wavelengths, but J.cole is not talking about him being involved in violence.
Loved her facial changes during the first verse. That let me know that she was really listening.
‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
So true i saw her expression from nicee to sh*t
She likely doesn't know that's a sample. That's one thing about this song. It crosses some borders and just doesn't feel like one identity. It's awesome.
I'm playing 2pac at my funeral. His music has been with me my whole life and I'm taking that shit with me too.
Pac has sooo many good songs 🎉 Some of my favs 1. Life goes on 2. Ballad of a dead soulja 3. Strictly 4 my niggas 4. Dope fiends diner 5. My block 6. Better days 7. Me and my girlfriend 8. Thugs mansion (nas acoustic version) 9. To live and die in LA 10. If i die2nite and one more 'so many tears' 😊 🎉 hectic songs 🎉 he was taken from us way to early 😢

I love the way she's trying to dance to it.. she only needs to listen.
I've heard this song hundreds of times over the years. Putting 100% of my focus into it, while reading the lyrics... still gives me goosebumps. I'll never forget the day my friend brought over 2Pac's All Eyez On Me double disc when I was 11 years old. Been in love with rap music since that day, 30 years ago.
Makaveli da Don 👑 still impacting
"ALL PEOPLE" .
27+ and counting Rest up Don 👑
Dear Mama, California Love, Keep Ya Head Up, Baby Don't Cry, Brenda's Got a Baby all great ones to react to
Ambitions as a rida...dear mamma...Only god can judge me are good ones.thug life..shed so many tears..
Brenda's got a Baby and Dope Fiens Diner are both two very heavy real tracks by Tupac. Its mind blowing that he wrote many of these tracks when he was 20-24 years old.
I agree and was coming to say the same exact thing! Brenda's gotta baby is one of the deepest songs ever!
Yes! I been saying this. Its crazy how relevant this song is even today. Pac wrote this song in 1992 and died in 96. This wasn't released until 2 years after he died.
He wrote some real and crazy stuff and being as young as he was is even crazier.
People dont really think about how young Pac actually was.
This guy was actually a poet.
He actually took this beat and idea from the original....ua-cam.com/video/cOeKidp-iWo/v-deo.html
@@CR1T1KaL714 Thats cool. Iv actually never heard the whole song just the chorus..
Awesome reaction, in my opinion Tupacs most important song he ever wrote was a song called, BRENDA'S GOT A BABY. A warning, it's a very disturbing song but a important one to listen to at least once.
Yes .for Shaw deep song .when his first album came out. That song amazed me.
I remember that when I got my first keyboard and started playing piano again my cousin wanted me to learn this song to play for him as if it was super easy lmao.
That's the start once you listen to 2pac it's game over. You'll keep on listening to 2pac and enjoy it
This song is definitely make you think about how we need to change our society and 2pac create this when he was young. We will never forget this song because it was important messages from 2pac. 😊
favorite tupac songs:
1. Hellrazor
2. letter to my unborn
3. trapped
4. Picture me Rollin
5. when thugz cry
2 many 2Pac tracks to pick through... I pick my faves as - 'Hail Mary'... 'Only God can judge me'... 'Life goes on'... 'Temptations'... 🔥🔥🤘🤘
"Hell Raiser" " can't see me" but you right to many great tracks of his to truly choose favs
" you can't see me" 😂 can't type my bad
im a 49 year old aussie metal head and 2pac's music hit dif even metal heads in the 90's would listen to 2pac imo he's the GOAT
Damn it's been a long time since I've heard this one.
Love this song. Missing Tupac. Also I love your Nirvana necklace.
His thee 🐐, wont be another ! UNCONDITIONAL LOVE is another great choice
This song is amazing
Pac was the prophet he was the change
I have been listening Tupac for like 27 years now. I started listening to rap music about the same time Hardcore techno (early hardcore at that time)/gabber developed in The Netherlands. God Bles the dead, So Many Tears, If I Die 2nite...so many good tracks...too many to put them all here.
My favorite song from Tupac for sure
This song has a special place in my heart ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Pure Attack. Pac's alive.
this is the best message to the people today it was one man seeing the problem and trying to address it but was not politically influential because he was not material he was spiritual!!! And lady its not happy or up beat its inspirational music its as they say youngin its not how it sounds its how it feels hope all ya know what i mean anyway godbless to all ya!!!!
Godfather of Rap all Time ❤ 2 PAC .
Tupac forever, seu legado vive hoje e sempre ❤❤👨👦👦👨👦👦💪🏽💪🏽🙏🙏 T.H.U.G L.I.FE ...
Tupac is the GOAT!one of my favorite Tupac song is unborn child!
Obama was not the “black” president Pac was talking about
" wake up in the morning and i ask myself is life worth living shall blast myself" the same question been asking myself for years.
this is one of my favorite tupac songs.
Tupac - Me Against The World
I remember when this would come on and wondering if I was going to be listening to Bruce Hornsby "Changes" (The song sampled for this) or 2Pac. 2Pac was brilliant! I think I will always be somewhat partial to "Shorty Wanna Be a Thug." It was the first song by him I really listed to. Great reaction Lilly!
whats' up , i from Brazil , I'm a big fan of tupac , I would love to see a series of you reacting to several of his songs ,
I really like seeing other people's reactions, and the admiration I have for this guy, it's not written , God Blessed u 🙌
Word man....one luv.
Pac was cool af.
This is the realest, most meaningful rapsong ever written, it's not even close.
Real is a perfect word to describe Tupac. He is the realest rapper, even the realest artist who ever lived.
Btw he died in 96.
imagine growing up in the world without the internet and listening to new music was one of the ways you learned about the world and what people experience
Please more Tupac reactions. His music shaped the industry and was the true definition of an icon. All eyez on me is a great album. "Picture me rollin" in one of my all time favs
Trust me, I am excited to explore his catalogue.
@@lillyjanereacts I look forward to it
Great way to add followers because he was such an ICON we as fans want his music to reach everyone.
Tupac is the greatest rapper of all time period
When someone like Em says Pac made him cry... we all know who is the GREATEST... 2 Pac is someone who revolutionized hip hop.... RIP😭😭😭😭
Totally diggin this channel 🤟
That's whats up, thank you!!
Crazy how her eyes waterd. Thats the power Pacs voice had.
Worth noting that Tupac said we ain't ready for a black president. Even though Obama was elected race relations are arguably worse.
Obama was very status quo, but I dont think that he made race relations worse, there are other factors at play
We definitely still weren't ready.🤷🏾♀️
Thank you for this comment. I was going to say the same thing.
2pac is the best of the history RIP legend 😍❤️💙
PAC always comes real. You should go through his entire discography.
BRENDAS GOT A BABY-TUPAC
We need this!!
That was Tupac and a lot of the hip-hop in the 90's. It was just raw, talking from their perspective and pulling no punches.
The official video clip is good too. It hits harder because in the middle you hear news reporters announcing his death. Just adds another level to the song. Amazing that he was only 25 at the time of his death too. He'd done all this by that age. In some ways, he lived a long life, despite dying so young.
2pac-----Dear mama
Tupac the realest rapper you’ll ever hear. He a modern day prophet
A song that transcends rap, it's one of the greatest songs period
Pac passed the day after my 15th bday in September of 96. It was so sad. It literally rocked us to our core.
I love how you listen to the music and were able to understand the... earily... dark message, behind, the jubilant rhythum of the music. This song is a beautiful masterpiece. R.I.P. 2pac, some rappers will never be the same...
He was a bright and intelligent dude. Conflicted by the struggle of the world. Very conscience individual.
Tupac the best❤❤❤.
“Dear mama” a definite must!!
“I’m shocked with how real he’s is”. Don’t worry we all are!
Take me back to the 90s babe..plzz🫶🥂🙏
I remember when I was a senior at St John’s University in 1998, debating with a priest about rap music and Tupac specifically.
He was telling me about how bad his lyrics were.
I asked him if he ever listened to a song or just what he hears on the news.
I started playing a few songs for him. One in particular hit him hard. “Nothing to loose”
The next week he stopped me on campus and told me I was right. He listened to a lot more of his catalog. After that. He got it.
Tupac's music is timeless!
Miss you Pac, True Raw Talent .
I always loved metal, but 2pac is a gem. Trip back to my "gang" years. Stupid, i thank God im still alive. When you get older you realise life is beautiful, just take a moment in nature to be still.
When u listen to Tupac, u gotta understand in Tupacs perspective. If u listen to Tupac often u will understand what he means in his lyrics!
Mommas Just A Little Girl - every woman should listen to this song by 2pac at least once
Great song by the greatest
Tupac considered one of the greatest poets of our time. not just a rapper.
Tupac’s song Unconditional Love is another good one to start with.
