I like how Sonic's animation doesn't change when running to boosting since it wasn't a thing till colours, meaning they literally can't put the Gens boosting animations.
They can code it but, in terms of modding, entering the source code and changing it is way much harder than replacing models, music, etc with different ones. For example, in Mario Kart Wii mods, people still don't know how to expand the list of selectable characters so that there are more than 32 (at least it's what I think)
Seeing unleashed techniques and physics in generations is so trippy especially with the gens hud voice lines and (almost) all the animations I’ve always imagined what this looked like.
Now my eyes have officially been broken because of Unleashed Drift. Day made, life corrupted. Gotta say the QTE's still on ramps is still pretty cool (but that's just me)
I kinda want to try seeing if its possible to down port stages (Heavily modified) to fit in sonic colours as its neat seeing the whole idea of this game being ported into unleashed
I know this would be a lot of work and defeat the point of the mod (simply porting levels, animations and the hud from generations to unleashed) but imagine if someone were to make an add-on to this that gives the werehog new night time stages based on the stages. Not only would that be really cool but there are so many amazing and creative ideas that could be done with this idea. You could have the werehog's green hill start off above ground like always, only for you to fall down a bit and end up traversing through a bunch of underground caverns located underneath the area for the rest of the stage! Or for chemical plant, maybe all of the things around the plant are turned off due to it being night time, so you've got some puzzles you gotta do where you have to reactivate some of the machinery in a certain order to progress, with some parts of the stage having machinery that CAN'T be reactivated (with the implication that some of the machinery has to be turned on remotely by eggman) but are set up in such a way for the werehog to be able to use it's stretchy limbs to traverse it with ease!
Here are SG mods that this feels like the original Generations is using: - Unleashed SFX. - Boost animation removal. - Unleashed FX. - QTE mod. - Unleashed shaders.
I have a challenge for you that i don't think anyone has done yet, at least on UA-cam. I challenge you to take the top route and bottom route of Green Hill, Emerald Hill, and Angel Island in the Classic games. This will show exactly how much faster the top routes are on average in the Classic games
Would be really awesome to see Sonic Forces levels running on the PS3 hardware with these Unleashed/Generations mods. ( I don't even know if this is possible, but would be so cool to see. )
@@Player_circle They could try to reduce the geometry of the 3D models and the quality of the textures, similar to the Mario Kart 8 maps on Mario Kart DS that some mods have done.

I love UnleasHD to bits, but playing it on a 360 is rough... and I'm not getting a Series X just for Unleashed lol I need that 60 FPS dream And no, Project Unleashed for Generations doesn't cut it.
