Trevor If your running low on gas look for the nearest Airdrop location because the have gas at them, you just have to look in the bottom slots I think your UA-camr vision has got the best of you these past 6 episodes because you’ve completely overlooked about 100 gallons of gas just these past 6 episodes
You should uncover the map with binocs and the drone when you drive in uncharted territories. Makes future route planning easier! And helps in future scout missions as well.
Have not watched the entire video yet, but want to remind you / let you know that the airdrops most definitely have fuel and spare parts in them! All of them. So leverage them instead of bringing extra trucks.
My new go to strategy is the metal detector on the roof. I also chase the scout with a bigger truck with a sideboard so I can pu all the fuel and spare parts at the airdrops.

25:40 Your question regarding why you sometimes can use the winch when turned over, and sometimes cannot. The scouts have an autonomous winch that works even when the engine is off, the trucks do not (at least without upgrades). The engine turns off when you're upside down, and thus cannot use the winch unless it's autonomous.

Hey Trevor love the videos. Airdrops have fuel!!! And before you deploy for your expedition you can pick where you deploy from!!! Save yourself from having to recover by choosing the closer spot to deploy.

While you're scanning with the drone or binocs, look for airdrops as well. Sometimes you can reveal new airdrops that aren't already on the map. Sometimes the ? on the map can be an airdrop if you examine it with the binocs or drone.

I enjoy the series, but Trev Airdrops are critical(missing out on precious fuel) , you should stop rushing yourself so much in some situations. I feel it’s the reason for some of the accidents you experience. If possible I’d love to see more variation in the vehicle usage also to keep it fun and refreshing each video.
If my memory is right there’s a pretty good upgrade just past the gateway into sunken island.

So I'm not sure if its a glitch but if you drive the taz into water turn off engine it will float straight to where the front is pointing across the map all the way to shore. Also use winch points and spiderman off cliffs just know that's not a way out.

Buy cargo drone you can refill your gas from anywhere as long as it has gas in the drone
Having spare part slots is much more important than fuel slots, though some spare fuel is good to have.
You can get fuel and spareparts in every single air drop, but you need a certain amount of spareparts (usually 75) to construct bridges and clear landslides.
Therefore you should prioritize sparepart slots over fuel, and look for airdrops on your way with binocs and the drone.
Really pains me to watch you struggle in simple scenarios when you do not use the tools into your advantage.
