Sir my question is what a radius of gyration? how to prove this formula?
Radius of gyration is the perpendicular distance to a point from axis of rotation.... And supposed to be mass of whole body is concentrated...
I = mr square (we know it)
I =mk sq.. (k= Radius of gyration)
From l=mk sq...
Find out the value of k which is radius of gyration..... Hope this will help u...

No, axis is on point 'O' and not on center of mass, so OP will be the radius when u rotate the body. Try to rotate it in mind.😊
