Todd Tuckey shows you a very popular pinball machine made by Williams...The Getaway is a "continuation" of the original 1986 classic High Speed...we posted a video of one we finished a couple weeks ago!
Very cool. I used to play one of these amazing machines in 1993 at my laundromat. I was there for a few hours every week and the sounds/music are burned into my brain. Great work!
Did you know Williams actually made a Gameboy version of this game? I've never heard of an actual pinball machine getting "ported" to a console lol. And gameboy is the only console that got it too. Idk, just so cool to me.
Adoro esta máquina, a mi gusto lo mejor de Williams, lamentablemente en mi país hay muy pocas unidades disponibles, qué momentos me dio esta máquina....
for me, there are so many good things such as the Supercharger gimmick, and the fact that they managed to do a rendition of ZZ Top's La Grange made this game really notable. The one thing I still find comical is how the backglass artwork depicts the police going as far as to resorting to using apache-like helicopters to assist in the pursuit.
I owned an original high speed machine a few weeks back. Great machine. Back was all blue LEDS and it looked sparkling. Had it for a few months but I sold it to make room for a rollergames, a game im still looking for. A high speed 2 also looks so good. A bit expensive though
motormusic1 We started regular videos in 2011...we have been SELLING games to homes since 1985...so quite a few Space Stations have passed through here...just none since 2011
TNT Amusements Inc I actually got one. Yay, but it's in need of a solid TNT makeover. I'm going to have it shipped to you guys come Feb and have you guys to do your magic!
I think it's SO cool that Williams actually made a Gameboy version of this pinball machine. Like seriously, how cool is that?

Probably one of the best machines ever.
Only played it on a real machine once but the Getaway is still one of my favourite games today.
Como me gusta esta maquina, la jugué mucho, es una maravilla

What combination of LEDs do you use in the backbox here? Are they cool or warm whites etc?
One of the best machines by Steve Ritchie... you guys ever come across his first machine, "Flash"?
I've not noticed you with a Williams Space Station machine. Do you have a video which i've missed? Are they rare?

I know who has a rollergames for sale in Minnesota.
I was disappointed by the "not a disco, queer" comment made by the cameraman. I'm sure it was meant to be funny, but I found it offensive.
toughen up princess
Get over it! 🤣🤣🤣
I'm sure your disappointment wasn't anywhere near the disappointment your parents have in you being their offspring. So take solace in that.
