Ian and Nina were very close before and after the break up, and then something happened that ruined that. My family and I never bought that PR stunt that they did at TVD goodbye resturaunt dinner pics they did (Ian, Nikki, Nina) back in February 2017. I always seen her over the years in videos, posts, and pics with eveyone else except them two(Ian & Nikki). Which it's their business, but I believe Paul and Nina love each other too much to risk their friendship. When Paul and Ines got married privately, it was Nina, Candice, Julie Plec, and Kevin Williamson, and the families at Ibiza wedding. I just love how close they are and cherish thier friendships.

Both have almost the same humor and adore each other a lot. But don't get me wrong I love his wife and her boyfriend but Nina and Paul together would've 100% been a power couple
For my part i knew for facts that they almost got together near the filming of the second season of tvd when paul and torrey had a break, he was hanging out a lot with nina and they almost got together but then something happened that made it not possible for them to be together. Then nina made it official with ian. But We will never know what.they decided to remain friends and become even best friends until now. And I am very happy about that. In some ways they are still attracted to each other but now a relationship won’t happend between them. They both adore each other and their respective partners and i think i prefer them as friends now. At the time i did this video, i was still convinced that something could happen between these two but now a lot of time has passed and they became best friends. Nina truly adore paul as she has high respect of him and you can see it in her eyes the ways she looks at paul will always remain special. Same for paul, now he truly adores nina as almost a member of his family. The could have been a power couple in the industry but fate decided for them. I don’t mind if people believe me or not but they were the real deal of vampire diaries for me.
