Thank you for making time to make these videos , some people in the candle world are extremely boujee when it comes to helping out some of us smaller folks but your energy is amazing 💕💕
This is the first ever video I watched on my possible journey to candle making. There is so much great information in this video and a bonus that you're conscious about sustainability. 💕✊🏾🇿🇦
omg i thought it was just me having issues with soy wax. my candles just dont slap me in the face like i want and i use 10% fragrance load. smh. thank you so much. i'm looking to launch in the fall and my soap is on point and i need my candles to match. keep them gems coming sis!!
Thanks so much Shayna! Yes, I plan on doing a video on Summer shipping because it was a headache for me and I don't want anyone to have to go through that if they don't have to! Thanks for watching!
I really want to use a coconut blend but all that i've found have that small amount of food grade paraffin in. I want to market my candle as eco friendly and don't feel comfortable doing so with those waxes. I'm so sad because coconut blends seem to be so easy to work with :(
I found this very helpful thank you ☺️ I’m trying to do my own business as well & trying different waxes so hopefully with trying the apricot will help my scent throw 🖤
Thanks so much for the video.. i have a question hoping someone can help me figure this out. i made a candle with coconut apricot wax and almond macaroon FO and when the wax cooled it doesn't look white or even offwhite anymore its looking like a very light tint of brown how do i keep my candle from turning colors especially if i want the white look?
Unfortunately because the fragrance oils can come in anything from clear to light brown it will affect the color of your wax. Some people have used stearic acid, gloss polymers or even titanium dioxide to make a candle white. However, using these ingredients can cause problems for example, titanium can clog the wick and keep it from burning; the gloss polymers can raise the melt point of the wax in containers, etc. I actually like that my waxes are not the same color. Speaks to me keeping my product completely natural without any added chemicals.
Hey love your videos, How does the coconut apricot wax candles hold when you send to customers. and how well does it last on the shelf. Considering that ts a soft wax.
Hey guys i just discovered the easiest wax to work with! When I use kerasoy wax, its always perfect. The cold throw is amazing and the hot throw is something in still testing but it is good! I have 2 videos on kerasoy so check it out!
Can you do a video on additives? I know you may not use them but I am looking for a natural additive that can either help with minimizing frosting or extending heat throw. I know about Vybar and steric acid but I’m not sure which ones are more natural.
Can you tell me why when i am trying to use a parraffin and soy blend the candle is coming out so rustic & imperfect? 😭 wasted sooo much time trying them ? Hope u can help as im so unsure what i am doing? Thank you x
Also just to add when i make 100% soy candles they are perfect but anything i add paraffin to it comes out so messy looking, but i have so much parrafin wax now i dont want to waste it xx
Hi Alisa! So happy you are enjoying my videos! ❤️ I store my wax in a plastic container, in my candle work space, which is fairly cool in temperature. The key is to make sure it is sealed in a container to keep it fresh and in a cool place so that it doesn't melt.
Hey girl, go back to your previous videos and link your website in all of them. I found you from your second video and was ready to buy from you pretty quickly to support but the site wasnt anywhere, i had to search your discription box in other videos.
Hey! I haven’t used stearic acid before so I can’t advise on this one. I have heard other candle makers using this acid for candle sticks and free standing candles because it helps with the molding process. I try to keep things natural so I don’t use any additives. What would you need to use stearic acid for?
Such a good video! Thank you! I'm so inspired to up my candle game yours are so beautiful and I love how personalities just shine through the product's!

Soy wax is great if you want to make a sensual massage candle. Because it doesn't burn the skin like other wax.
Thanks for sharing this Neka! 🤗

Hi Paris, have you tried the wax from 16/17? If so can you kindly give a comparison to wooden wick wax
Sorry, I have not tried 16/17. Let me know what you think of it.

I can do some research and do a quick video on additives but you are right, I don't use them.
