Whether it’s Matt Fitzpatrick or Scottie being #1 in the world and giving Rory fits at the match play, you’re helping a lot of people Christo. One day when my schedule clears up I’m going to sign up for an intensive, and I’m going to tell you my story after graduating from the Golf Academy of America wanting to be a golf instructor. I had a natural deep inside takeaway and I put the club on top of the plane naturally hitting a sweet little cut, my swing was rhythmic similar to Bobby Jones, and they told me I was WRONG! They made me change my swing and I could never break 80 again. I couldn’t pass the PGA playing exam because my swing was JACKED up. I’m back to swinging my natural way and getting better everyday as I get more comfortable with swinging NATURALLY. One day Christo, one day we’re gonna chop it up. Keep up the great work.
Wow Trey. Fascinating story and shows that Christo will never become a PGA teacher as he would most definitely fail the test today as you did years ago. But in 5 years time perhaps Christo with you and his new lifetime Country Club members may begin to change the PGA teaching rules and Christo will pass with flying colors. Cheers 😃👍⛳️🥂
Your story reminds me of Count Yogi simple teachings and difficulties with the PGA as well. Cheers 😃👍⛳️🥂
@@thomasfraser9072 Christo would pass the teaching exam. He can break 80. At the time trying to swing the way they taught me I wasn’t consistent. I should go back and try. I’ve broken several times since going back to my natural swing.
Over the top but still under the plane, also what’s cool it’s it’s a throwback swing but we get to see a what a throw back swing can produce in terms of numbers and it’s right there !
Is The Miracle OTT over to under the golf club plane; or, over to the golf club plane? I would suggest the latter. Cheers
@Miracle Swing Experience. Hi Christo, thanks for bringing this swing method to my awareness, it really is like a miracle. The compression and consistency of ball first contact is something i've never had previously and very straight or tight draw shots. Thank you. peace love light
I just started OTT and I'm feeling a hammer throw vibe. It feels like the club is going one way and I'm going the other. My old swing felt like I was following the clubs direction.
By far one of the best OTT swings.
Absolutely, he will be around for a long time! Are you joining our new Membership site and community? miracleswingexperience.com/
There are top players who I think have clearly increased their distance over the past 1-2 years.
The three players are Matthew Fitzpatrick, Cameron Smith, and Jordan Spieth.
And whether it’s by coincidence or not, all three of them seem to be incorporating an OTT swing if you had to classify them as such.
Hey Christo, for some reason your videos haven’t been popping up in my feed for the last couple of months. Thought maybe you took a break from putting out content, then checked your channel and you have been.
Wondering if others are experiencing this.
I notice all these golfers start with a slightly closed stance the opposite of what they tell amateurs to do to be slightly open I agree with you Christo …
In the seveties the video footage became an industry standard in teaching. However the lack of understanding the 3D-movement and the fysiology - biomechanics, if you like. Teaching people just got stuck with the movement of the club, but instead they should’ve been concentrating the movement of the body. A plane, one-plane swing is a chimera, the club moves on a relative plane, but since it moving in space, it doesn’t apply the plane, but ends up fullfilling only, what one wants to see.
How is swing this over the top?
you have to speed your backswing up. more of a throw backwards
Think this is what Collin Morikawa does as well?
I have allways thought a golf swing is just directionally deviated tennis serve or javelin throw.
Oh boy, here we go with re-defining over the top again. At no point does Matt get his swing path outside the line, nor is the shaft of his club exceedingly vertical on the downswing, which would be the consensus of over the top as defined by centuries of golf. I get it that you have a methodology that works, and many can benefit from it, BUT very few professional golfers or instructors would look at Matt's swing and immediately conclude it's over the top. Tracing the hand path is not how we determine if a swing is over the top. Many golfers have a hand path that loops, unless you're Moe Norman whose flat, or Sergio Garcia whose hand path loops under rather than over. The age of redefining has just gotten ridiculous.
It's a lag swing flat left wrist definitely not over the top
