Yeah they should copy rigid and have the handle/wheels attach to any box. Would be sick if the handle came off and turned into a fully functional dolly as well.
I’ve been saying from day 1 how stupid the pack out is for this reason. You need something from the bottom box you have to unload everything. I think DEWALT used to have a hand truck that used a system similar to its wall mount brackets where you could access any part of your stack but I’m just against all these rolling boxes. @@KZ-yy9pm Dewalt still makes that hand truck. And it's also built way better than Milwaukee's version too. (and still doesn't have the bottom box issue if you need an XL box with large tools at the bottom)
@@jaywelker5566 Interesting, the only way using a pack out made sense was if you had 2-2 drawer boxes at bottom. Then 1-3 draw box in the middle. The packout ideas are simply wonderful aditions to the current llineup
As an improvement to current batteries I was hoping to see an improvement of battery battery balancing technology integrated in the batteries or chargers. There are so many videos on battery issues with milwaukee batteries. A lot are related to cell imbalance. For instance, you have a production run where you don't want to keep changing batteries or you have limited battery charging, or you don't want to run batteries through charging and discharging cycles.
Dust extractor seems promising. Maybe they’re working on a good sander to compete with Bosch, Festool, and Mirka. Ah, I get what you're saying now. I've worked a few summers in construction and as a land survey tech in the Texas heat, and agree a fan drone would have been great! (Of course, drones weren't even really a thing back then though...)
I didn't think about arthritis and joint pain - maybe there's a market there after all. It just seemed like it would take too much time over manual ones for me.
11:06 that folding battery would have to be 14500s. There's no space in the M12 to fit internal walls with 18650s. A power bank is a much better solution and what people already use with these jackets.
The solar setup looks sweet but spendy! I'm sure the packout dust extractor is going to be awesome but a pretty penny as well. My final takeaway is that I should try to get a job working on product design, they need new ideas lol.
Sometimes the product design engineer comes up with a product idea on their own, but a lot of the time it's just the product manager or marketing asking us to figure out how to make their idea into something that actually works. :)
I really want to see a gen2 packout dolly. Dual battery table saw would be nice. Gen2 m18 hand planer. I think the 7 1/4 in miter saw could use a redesign. That thing will not stay zeroed for the life me. M18 biscuit joiner, M18 jamb saw, M18 flooring nailers. mX fuel chainsaw would be sweet.
Heated socks and jacket with arm heating can come my way. The M12 battery location sucks and so does the battery. Just have a dedicated battery that wireless charges and have option to add the M12 if needed.
I literally put 3D printed cleats on my M18 fan because it takes up nearly and entire large Packout box and it’s annoying unstacking everything to put it somewhere useful and then when you have to move to a different area it always falls off my Packout so that’s why I put Packout cleats but if I tilt my Packout or stop too abruptly my fan will still fly forward and fall so a REAL Packout fan would be an instant purchase
I basically have almost all Dewalt 12v tools (with the exception of the m12 brushed ratchet). With Milwaukee miles ahead of their competition with 12v tools, i am very tempted to switch over to m12.
Any chance we could get a Makita Patent review? Theyve got a patent for a Packout competitor as well as a new ratchet, framing nailer, and quite a few other things
I've got a running list of them, and have a video planned. It just takes a lot of hours to read through them all and distill it into something concise and coherent.

@@DoresoomReviews like what metabo has. that would be neat. (I meant the m18 compressor, plugging that in and not having to warry about the battery dying would be nice.)
What im really anticipating this coming pipeline is a newer battery technology that can compete with dewalts stacked batteries. Or another battery platform like 36v without using 2x m18
I can’t share photos here but the large floor model fan that is the patents was leaked on a pack out group on facebook a few weeks ago. We believe it was just a prototype but it looked identical to the patent drawings you just showed
Milwaukee is STUPID for not offering a dedicated FLAT battery for their heated gear. I bought an aftermarket pack like that from Amazon made for heated gear - and its half the size and works twice as long. EVERYONE would (should) buy one, as long as Milwaukee didnt slap their name on in and charge $200 for it. If anyone has seen these on amazon for like $70 - i highly, HIGHLY recommend you get one. And you only need ONE.
Yep would be great having a flat battery for my jacket. I would buy one for sure. Can't wait to see if they are going to make the one shown in this video.
patents are cute and all, and I'm hopeful for the "air hammer" and use them as a needle scaler. But I'm still waiting to get my hands on Milwaukee's version of a pass-through auto-ratchet: the Milwaukee M12 3050-20 Insider
Not a wire stripper but its rotaray package cutter...i don't know why we don't have a M12 heated rip/ jeans yet...Am I the only one wearing 2 layers when it's really freeezing outside.. Dont hunters need these too?
With all the heated gear they have and are continuing to come out with, it's baffling to me that they don't link up to share a power source. I'd invest in a heated jacket, heated pants, heated gloves, and heated insoles or socks if I didn't have to manage four different batteries to do so.
That's because the runtime on high in the jacket alone is 4 hours off a 2.0, divide that between pants and socks and gloves and you'll have like 1 hour of high heat and what 2 or 3 on low? Useless
The jacket alone runs on low for 12 hours off a CP3.0, so if you added pants and socks and gloves also on low then the runtime would probably be about 4 hours. I can't imagine needing to run the jacket on high if I also had the other heated gear running. Changing batteries once in an 8 hour shift, or twice in a 12 hour shift, is pretty reasonable; and almost all of my CP batteries are 3.0 already.
The USB patent was filed under Milwaukee Tools though, and all the Ryobi stuff I've found is filed under TTI. When I publicly speculated on collaboration between the two, Milwaukee PR made it very clear to me that they don't share IP.
@@DoresoomReviewsinteresting when you look at stuff like the jigsaw. All three (Milwaukee, Rigid and Ryobi) came out with new jigsaws at roughly the same time which all shared a very similar design and had very even spec steps across the range.
When I speculated they shared research, it was for the Ryobi 18V inverter and the M18 Top Off that came out in close succession. So while they may not share engineering development efforts, I suspect Milwaukee/Rigid/Ryobi do share common broad "directives" from TTI on what type of projects to work on.
Agreed - most of the time I'm using a powered ratchet I care about speed, not torque. As long as they build it sturdy enough to crank on manually and with enough torque to run on nyloc nuts, I'd be happy!
Great video. As others have said, about time a new m12 jigsaw came out. And a trim router. Ever since I got a ridiculous home depot website error deal of 8 Roybi HP brushless tools for $150, I'm done with m12. As a diy homeowner Ryobi tools work just fine for me. Even a fan of Ryobi 4 volt tools like Milwaukess Redlithium USB. Love to see new Milwaukee tools and technology, just means in 2 years it will make its way down to Ryobi. Oh and Milwaukee also needs to come out with a Gen 2 circular saw. Even though its Fuel, its 10 years old and I know with new technology they can make a more powerful one.
None of these excite me as a framer. When will they fix the plastic base depth set lever on either of the 7 1/4 saws that always go loose mid-cut? When will they release a cordless n17 sheathing stapler? Or balance and lighten the framing nailer so I can axtually uae it all day? When will they release an M18 screw gun that is compatible with the QuikDrive system?
I would keep away from the new grinder that has the disc lock system on that's the reason i kept away from the Bosch grinder with this disc lock system as you are beholden to them specific discs and the price they cost.

I have the rivet tool it’s great, I don’t do the type of work to much and more but it’s held up great and good to have when I need it
I hope and pray they come out with an air hammer ! That would be such a game changer as an automotive mechanic.
I’m honestly excited for the usb tools that’s going to be a game changer
3006-20 has me wondering if a new dual battery chainsaw is coming. Something vaguely like the LXTx2 chainsaw except red.
the hand truck table combo is a gamechanger
i need that power pliers so bad. been a electrician for 25 years now i have pain in my hand that not going away. I can’t grip much bay more.
I didn't think about arthritis and joint pain - maybe there's a market there after all. It just seemed like it would take too much time over manual ones for me.
Rivnut gun I've wanted for a while, the dust extractor will sell well being battery or plug in. It's what many of us ask for. I'll also welcome Xlock.
Why does the windshield remover device use a Wii-mote?
I know! I meant to comment on the Wii-mote resemblance, but forgot to. Thanks for pointing it out! 🤣
I like that pivoting side handle on the grinder
M12 Router would be great. Along with an M12 heat gun.
An M12 heat gun might break a record for fastest battery drain!
@@DoresoomReviews 🤣
the windsheild glass remover comes with a Wii Remote
😂
11:06 that folding battery would have to be 14500s. There's no space in the M12 to fit internal walls with 18650s. A power bank is a much better solution and what people already use with these jackets.
Air hammer yes I hope it well be powerful like 3000 Perception
Can't wait for the new framing nailer can it finally shoot 131 and 148s now?
I didn't see anything about nail diameter in the patent text, but i't's possible I just missed it.
Roofing Nailer 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 please
I found that patent in last year's video! With the timing of filing to release dates, we might see it this year!
@@DoresoomReviews I watched that video! I hope because Dewalt is the only cordless option.
Yes pleaseeeeeeeee. Only thing I need a lot
Yeah dude all of those red lithium 4.0/8.0 stuff I will be getting. A smaller ratchet makes so much sense
The M12 system is the only 12V system I recommend anymore. Nothing beats it for the breadth of tools they offer.
Depends on what you need, I wouldn't switch
Any chance we could get a Makita Patent review? Theyve got a patent for a Packout competitor as well as a new ratchet, framing nailer, and quite a few other things
I've got a running list of them, and have a video planned. It just takes a lot of hours to read through them all and distill it into something concise and coherent.
I want a m12 pipe cutter that cuts 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and 5/8 pipe for hvac systems
That’s some cool stuff!!
I would really like to see a m18 power supply so you can plug in tools that use a lot of power like the air compressor.
Like this one? www.acmetools.com/milwaukee-m18-carry-on-3600with-1800w-power-supply-2845-20/045242551460.html
Or something different like what Metabo HPT has with their 36V multivolt system?
i agreed
some wants to take their tools and turn them into AC would be awesome
@@DoresoomReviews like what metabo has. that would be neat. (I meant the m18 compressor, plugging that in and not having to warry about the battery dying would be nice.)
@@DoresoomReviews I'm also wafting for them to release an m18 or MX powered yard cart with a dump bucket.
What im really anticipating this coming pipeline is a newer battery technology that can compete with dewalts stacked batteries. Or another battery platform like 36v without using 2x m18
I'm wondering if the pliers are vise grips. I'd buy a set of those if they have adjustable clamp force
I have nail clippers that outperform the m12 jig, this is way overdue
😂
I can’t share photos here but the large floor model fan that is the patents was leaked on a pack out group on facebook a few weeks ago. We believe it was just a prototype but it looked identical to the patent drawings you just showed
Interesting!
Hey those power hand pliers look real nice like . It’ll help us old guys .
You're not the only one to tell me that! I hadn't thought of joint pain playing a factor.
Man, I sure hope they release that rivnut tool. Been looking at them for months.
I've only installed a few dozen rivnuts before, but just doing that many had me wishing for an automatic rivnut gun! 😂
Can’t wait for the air hammer.
2:05 #120 a... Circular saw blade? That looks sketchy as heck
😂😬
@@SEBTECHDIY I bought the aftermarket one on Amazon for $70. Worth every penny. Heated hoodie lasts a full work day on high.
Now they just need to make an M12 hot glue gun
Awesome. The windshield pump comes with a wii remote. 😆
I noticed that, but completely forgot to mention it in the video! 😂
I wish Milwaukee would come out with a battery backpack so you can put 4 m18 12.00 batteries to maximize runtime
patents are cute and all, and I'm hopeful for the "air hammer" and use them as a needle scaler. But I'm still waiting to get my hands on Milwaukee's version of a pass-through auto-ratchet: the Milwaukee M12 3050-20 Insider
Wow, I found a patent for that ratchet back in 2020! ua-cam.com/video/f9dxWEaNoTU/v-deo.html Glad it looks like they're finally releasing one.
Not a wire stripper but its rotaray package cutter...i don't know why we don't have a M12 heated rip/ jeans yet...Am I the only one wearing 2 layers when it's really freeezing outside.. Dont hunters need these too?
Figure 23 at 5:58 is a wire stripper. My voice over timing was a little off and overlapped the image of the rotary cutter.
Was hoping to see a new high torque 1/2 inch drive impact wrench
Here’s hoping for Bluetooth connectivity on their dust extractor just like Makita.
They already kind of have this but it’s only for AC. You plug it in between the vac and the plug and you have a watch with a start button.
I wonder if the patents for the Milwaukee USB stuff actually want to Ryobi because they released a ton of Ryobi USB tools.
That usb ratchet looks like the ryobi one, but would be super usefull just to have a smallet profile ratchet
Agreed - most of the time I'm using a powered ratchet I care about speed, not torque. As long as they build it sturdy enough to crank on manually and with enough torque to run on nyloc nuts, I'd be happy!
The Packout Vacuum should have been released many years ago.
Thank you !
Would love to see a M18 125mm circular saw
If they make the Packout work cart or work table more affordable, I will be allll over that system
Unfortunately, "Packout" and "Affordable" don't seem to coincide! 😂
i hope to see a Milwaukee Walkie Talkie device .. maybe they are going to release it in pipeline 2025
That windshield removal tool remote looks an awful lot like a wii remote.
Well what else are the shop employees going to use to play Mario Kart during their lunch breaks?
Really bummed to see they skipped a fuel update for the m12 rotary tool.
They could still be working on it, and just not have any patentable features.
If I'm going to use a tool every day or at least several times a week, I'll usually buy Milwaukee. If I'm going to use it less than that, I buy Ryobi.
@@DoresoomReviews Can't fault that logic.
Some very cool ideas.
Fan dog! Gotta start saving up for fan dog!
They're gonna have to start offering financing! 🤣
Ok a fan drone and a watch that follows you around but not a plate joiner. Cool.
😂 I'm with you on the biscuit jointer. Makita and DeWalt both have one!
Make an M12 Air Hammer PLEEEEEEASE 🙏 🙏 🙏 FUEL of course ♥️
Still hoping for an M 12 fish, fillet, knife, and a set of M 12 beard trimmers that would be awesome
Those sound like Redlithium USB tool candidates to me!
Cool. Thank you!
Imma need that air hammer
I would keep away from the new grinder that has the disc lock system on that's the reason i kept away from the Bosch grinder with this disc lock system as you are beholden to them specific discs and the price they cost.
True, there's a definite cost vs convenience tradeoff.
Do they have anything about a m12 new impact ?
#blessedbethebarrelgrip
Clearly, you should not expect any kettles and microwaves, and you should safely buy this from the Makita company
😂
That glass remote looks exactly like a old wii remote
To get the cable puller to work, just fire up Bass Pro fishing on the old Wii! 😂
Red lithium powered pliers probably spin for twisting wire.
It's quite possible they could be safety wire pliers. The patent text only mentions "configured to affect a movement of the toolhead". Pretty broad!
