No, it doesnt. Punch through does nothing, at least not in simulacrum. Even 7,3 punch through(qorvex+metal auger+orimed shred) it doesn’t chain to more than 3-4 enemies.
@@cocopas80 that's not what I said, let me explain it to you this way, ok so why would you want a radiation progenitor when you can use a single mod and get Radiation and by doing this you can add another status as you progenitor in this case being magnetic now with just 1 mod you have 2 elements rad/mag.
rifle has radiated reload, save 1 slot also the -reload is nice qol. with magnetic, i get mag, rad, corr, cold, and slash (from hunter munition). 5 statuses = 400% damage from galv aptitude. for weapon that use primary frost bite and primary blight, i had to find another damage source coz the arcane only give multishot and crit damage.
13 corrosive stacks inflict 98% armor reduction. the 2% remaining is good for extra damage against armor, especially since i used radiation and corrosive

Why magnetic and not radiation in genitor?
I guess bc you can use the mod Radiated Reload that gives you radiation on it own and you can mod for corrosive 👍🏻
