Has the OG Scotch Porter conditioner made a disguised comeback? For everyone that has held on to the SP beard “conditioning” balm, or affiliates who continue to receive it in bundles. This may be a great way to utilize it. If you’re like me, you probably have a plethora of the SP beard “conditioning” balm laying around. I’ve started using mine as a rinse out beard conditioner. I would even consider buying it for that purpose when SP has the 50% off, buy one get one sale. Hope you enjoy the video. Cheers 🍻

I’ve never tried that line. But definitely give this a try if you have the SP balm laying around.

    Love your work.
I can say my beard is a
direct result of your instructions on this channel.
    Need your help.
Want to get that smooth bald head so I got a cordless Wahl detailer .
It does a good job but I find myself breaking out the disposable razors to get to what I want.
Any recommendations on maybe a head shaver or anything else that will get me that look?
    Help, I desperate!

I normally just use the Andis trimmer. Rarely completely bald. But when I want a bald head I usually use the cut buddy electric razor or disposable.

Fasho bro. Yeah I have a few I never use, so I experimented with it. Ingredients lineup for the most part as for a conditioner. Plus they call it a conditioning balm. So it’s easy to rinse out. Saves a few bucks if you already have some laying around, but also good if stores are out of the SP traditional conditioner.

Interesting find. I actually have a cple "OG" conditioners from SP sitting in my closet for over 2 years. I just kept them on ice because I wasn't sure if they were still good to use or not. Will have to try this new beard conditioner hack. Stay blessed my guy.

Much appreciated bro. You as well. Yeah I have a bit left of the OG, I’m sure it’s still good. Smell is good and consistency stayed intact. Having no shortage of other beard conditioners as well as the new SP conditioning hack, I’ve been able to hold on to the OG version.

🤔🤔 Sounds good may even mix it with a lil bit of the regular conditioner... Def going to try👍

No doubt. I don’t think it’s many wrong ways to do it. Especially if you have both products. End if the day you’re rinsing it out in the shower. I still have the SP beard conditioner as well. Using the conditioning balm now just prolongs the beard conditioner. I have about 8 jars of balm. So may as well use them. 💯

Fasho bro. I’ve been on the conditioner and wash full time really. But glad I found some use out of the conditioning balm. I had quite a few.

I think you’re on to something! Tried it last night as a deep conditioner with the plastic cap. 👍🏿

That’s cool bro. Yeah, I have a thing with conditioners where I can feel the “oils” around my mouth in the shower. So I know I’m using conditioner. So for me that was a determining factor as to the conditioning balm from SP working as a conditioner. Started as a personal find, but I wanted to share it with you guys. 💯👊🏽🍻

@@Bdacht since you use the beard balm as a rinse conditioner, what do you use to seal in the moisture?

    • @Bdacht

@@emmettjohnson4629 I treat the moisturizing balm like a rinse conditioner. So I just continue my routine after. Oil then butter.
