The series has a lot of interesting characters. It's too bad the narrative doesn't shift more from Naruto to give them their own arcs/development independent of him.

@@narem1092 Just because the series is named after him doesn't mean it needs to focus on everything he does, especially when Kishi created so many other intriguing characters and possible plotlines. A series can still be good or interesting even if doesn't focus on its main character 100% of the time.

@@passionefruit If you think about it, shippuden is mostly about everyone else besides Naruto, this arc is for Shikamaru, the next one is for sasuke, after that is jiraiya and pain, the kage reunion is more about tobi and sasuke, half of the war doesn't include Naruto
He's "in" just for the finales like vs Kakuzu, Pain and Tobi

Good lord these stalling episodes are the worst.
Fr, the past dozen episodes (not including filler) could've been done in just one. I don't know if the manga was this slow but I swear it wasn't.
@@F1rstNameLastName It wasn't. The only canon thing in this episode is Kakashi doing the Rasengan.
@F1rstNameLastName Manga wasn't slow paced at all plus there weren't as many flashbacks in the Manga compared to the anime
This one has to be one of the worst episodes in the whole series. It's craziness how Kakashi performing Rasengan is the only canon thing in the whole episode.
