I tried playing this game again in 2020, and dam idk what the secret was, but i use to hit homeruns when i played as a kid. I couldn't get one homerun at all as an adult lol
I love the way the theme changes when you're hitting and when you're pitching.......the hitting theme is all whaaaaaamyyy wheeeee we diddledediddled dang weeeeeeeeeeeeeee and the pitching themes is all didiackad.....clack....clack...clakc...didackack...clack...clack...clack
Good ole sega synth. It's soo edgy and it doesn't work well with this game but it's soo cool because it just stands out. But the graphics match the arcade but everything else it doesn't. Imagine if they made a sega cd port of this it woulda been arcade perfect
So SNK's Baseball All-satrs arcade game with the most BS "comeback from any deficit and let you score when we feel like it" AI ever...but future version?
I don't get why people say the music is superior in this version, compared to the SNES. The animations are smoother in this version though. I agree with that one.
Both versions had terrible music compared to the Neo Geo original. SNES sounded like a gazillion farting horns and this sounds like your typical American developed Mega Drive game.

The funny part is this ended up being one of the most realistic baseball games in terms of competitive play.

What a hidden gem. I usually disregard sports games. But this has that arcade polish of the time. Nice Digitized voice as well.
Used to play this all the time with my little brother back in the early 2010’s. Feels like a lifetime ago...
