This show....I sometimes wish it wasnt an anime because I cant convince my friends to watch it. All they hear is "anime" and think its weird like hentai or some shit but its on par with every other show....its amazing.
EDIT: In the past year I've convinced a couple of friends to watch it actually. They all adore the show now. Trying to get them all to watch soon.

Did you suggest them to watch it during quarantine, since they have much time to lose, they should’ve at least tried (more like ten episodes lmao). I made my mom watch two animes, even if she usually is the type to think « Anime is for kids », se watched the full season of Erased and all three seasons of AoT. If it was not for quarantine, then she would probably have never watched it. But at first she said she would only watch 1 episode and now she’s waiting for season 4 with us lmao. Idk if it might work for your friends (and if you haven’t tried yet, try it), but at first we suggested her to watch a series with us, and we explained what it was about (Erased) and she said it would be great. When she saw it was an anime, she instantly refused, but we managed to tell her it’s only one episode (only ~20 minutes), so she accepted and she liked the story. For AoT, it was kind of different, the first episode is interesting, but between the first and tenth episode, there’s not much going on, so she was bored somehow, but still kept on watching because she had many theories lmao. We want her to watch Death Note later, but I think it will be more difficult now that quarantine is over. Good luck for making your friends watch it, because they would be dumb not to watch AoT, it’s such a masterpiece.

the anime first aired in 2013 tho! I’m 19 too and I was 12 when I first watched it. I remember waiting so long for season 2 (day ones know we waited 4 whole years lol), but stopped watching anime altogether in high school bc I was embarrassed of my weebness. I picked up manga & anime again last year as a college student to distract me from my depression. AOT got me hyped again, especially with season 4 coming up:)

sonic namikaze he/she obviously had problems in his/her life if they were thinking about taking their own life, but that doesn‘t mean anime can‘t help him. Maybe this show showed them to appreciate life fighting for their goals instead of thinking about ending it all and not help anybody in the process. Maybe this show showed them that his remaining family and friends would be devastated after their death? You don‘t know.

It is so sad that there are so many people that misunderstand the ending and the fact that it is kind of the most perfect ending that AOT could have ever gotten. It fits with the show so well and every part of it and brings you back to the first three seasons and all of the lore, even the Ovas are kind of important to understanding some parts. Every season as well as the ending had their own purposes and the fact that there are a lot of people that have given up on the meaning and understanding all of AOT is sad but I guess that is just how great of a story it is, that it leaves each of us individuals to truly find meaning in it with everything we have been given in AOT so far.

As long as I have been an anime fan, I admit that there is no anime with the best and most interesting storyline like Attack on Titan. An anime plot like this is a very rare concept.
It's impressive how this guy just dropped this masterpiece using the series own BSO back when it aired in 2013 and hasn't uploaded anything else since then, imagine he returns after the series finales with an AMV of the same quality, one can dream.

I was waiting to see a scene where Eren becomes titan, or where Annie is shown, but could see nothing like this. I see this as the Attack on Titan theme more than any other track, even Guren no Yumiya. It just encapsulates everything about the series so perfectly. It's hopeful, yet there is no hope. It sounds like what Mikasa's saying, "This is a beautiful and cruel world" would've sounded like if it were music. This is a masterpiece by Hiroyuki Sawano, and among his greatest works.
Well actually the first ending song of attack on titan is about the world being both cruel and beautiful. Its basically based on mikasa's life.

I think OP and ED themes are overrated, as they don't actually contribute to the show itself, except for getting people hyped for what's about to go down. But the actual OST of the show is what's most important imo. Of course I still love that ED song because it is beautiful.

This show has made me realize how it truly is not just a show. I felt things I have not felt before. I felt like I knew every character personally, each death leaving a massive hole in me. It made me feel as of these drawings were past memories. Attack on Titan is a true masterpiece. If people could look over the fact of their feelings towards the animation, there is no way they can dislike this show. All I can say right now, is thank you Isayama.

Gujudhur Harish Kumar Listen, I know that music these days can seem terrible, superficial, lazy, or whatever other adjective you wanna call it, but are you really going to call out people for genuinely enjoying music that you claim is bad? This is the problem with almost all arguments about this subject, people call popular music "shallow" and "degrading" completely based on *their* own opinions, and expecting that everyone also agrees and considers it *"truth" and labelling anyone who disagrees as just as "shallow" and "degrading." It just seems so hypocritical when people claim their own opinions to be truth.
And besides, music taste doesn't determine personality, so what's wrong with people listening to House, Trap, Metal, Rap or some other "shallow" song if they're overall nice people?

Am I the only one who feels that this anime is so tragic? Not for the fact that so many people die, but the whole story. I don't know how to explain it but I just get this tragic feeling when thinking about this show, as if the entire anime is doomed to end tragically, but triumphantly... And a really big thx to the creator of this, U work so freaking hard, it's amazing.
Yeah it has that kinda vibe in it. But the most tragic thing to me is that I can see a lot of similarities in our real world. I have always seen it as some kind of criticism of our world. How we are living. That is why i made this video. To pinpoint the one thing I found encouraging. That no matter what happens in our life we should try to muster up everything we have and march onward. "We must not give to our fate." So that we wouldn't meaninglessly give up and render ourselves useless to the world around us. I think that is the very same as dying. And so we must march on to this fight that world has prepared for us and we should give our all to win or die trying. Because even if we fail on the road to victory our struggle might help someone else get closer to the victory which we were going towards. But that's just my opinion :D This is supposed to be a piece of art so its open to interpretations. :) I am glad that you like it by the way. ;) Thank you for watching.
Disturbo I completely agree, that's why I love AOT so much. It's beautiful and complex and truly a masterpiece. And I feel as if the whole show is a metaphor for life in our world. Thx for creating this gem of a youtube video.
