Grew up in Stubbington, on Saturdays my brother and I would that the bus down to the flicks at the cinema at the Lighthouse complex... a few years ago that was..... in the late 50's and early 60's
I'm obviously missing something here. 'The good old days' apart from the picture of the old railway all the pictures have been taken in the last 18 months. Unfortunatly turning them sepia and adding some Glenn Miller-esque music doesnt make it the good old days, it makes it appear even more drab and boring than it already is. I've lived in/worked in Lee since 1973 so i know what i'm talking about.
It is still a lovely place.I would go there to live if I had some money. I usually stay at Kingfisher Park for one week a year and can't wait to get back there again.
