I'm really excited to watch the WEC in my home country. I will be at Interlagos with my Virtual Racing Team!
I'll be there on the weekend, as a Brazilian and a São Paulo Citizen is a privilege to have WEC here and we are super excited about WEC. The weather will be an factor for sure
A short track, a big grid, the unpredictable weather... it seens perfect!!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷 interlagos é a receita perfeita. I love you channel mate, from brasil
Weather will certainly play a part in the race. Currently 58% chance of rain on Saturday, 72% on Sunday.
Will be interesting to see how the cooler temperatures will affect the race. Were in Winter over here, temperature range will be between 13-15°C, so I expect the cars to struggle out of the pits
Interlagos is one of my favorite tracks. Looking forward to watching the race.
Hello Jhona!!! thanks for mentioning the 1000 km of Buenos Aires!!! It was a historic race! The Porche 917, the Matra, the Ferrari 312PB came to race. As an Argentinian, it makes me very happy that the WEC has a race in Brazil! I had the opportunity to see Formula 1 a few years ago! And the atmosphere was incredible! And I hope that the WEC has a dream date on this WEC date.
Hello Jonah, I absolutely love your content, you're doing a fantastic job on your channel and it's pleasure to see it growing! 🙌😁 I'm really looking forward to WEC returning to this great circuit 🇧🇷
I didn't realise it was that long since WEC was there. Imaging if they were able to race in the old almost 5 miles layout of the circuit for endurance racing.
they need to bring back alternating calendars between years so we ca see more tracks and having unpredictable races in new tracks while revisiting the famous ones every other year. one year we go to monza, next mugello, then imola. sao paulo thn argentina, kyalami, malaysia, portugal keep swapping portimao and jerez
Well I don't think it's that easy to be honest. WEC has a pretty big grid so there aren't that many tracks WEC can race at anyways. Not sure if Argentina has a track that works for WEC, same for Mugello, Kyalami or Jerez. Another issue is finding a spot in the calendar that fits. Many regions can only be raced in during a certain time of year, finding a spot that doesn't clash with other big endurance races / FE and best case F1 isn't easy.
Fun and historical fact: the predecessor of FIA WEC is FIA WSC (World Sportscar Championship)
Seu canal é incrível 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I’ll be at the circuit this weekend, hoping for some great battles and hoping for a good but fun weather for the race
We had a endurance race this year at Interlagos, was at the same day as WEC SPA I think, during that huge red flag, I was watching the race at Interlagos, it was pretty damn good, although it was only lmp2, lmp3, gt3 and gt4, the race was great.
BRAZIL MENTIONED
Nice video. Looking forward to how the new cars perform at the track. Keep up the good work.
Will be at Interlagos watching, if anyone here is going also, we can meet and give a shoutout to Formula Jonah!
It's good that the WEC is returning to South America. There aren't so many drivers coming out of the continent lately, but I hope it reignites interest and investment in that region. Unusually it runs counter clockwise I believe.. Looking forward forward to it. Go WEC. ( World Sportscar championship) 😉😉😁😁
Kyalami should come for Africa and Silverstone for Britain, Bathurst for Oceania should replace Bahrain in the Middle East, and replace imola with mugello. Perfect schedule
I would love Bathurst but it would he a bloodbath in sector two with GT3 and Hypercars
Racing hypercars in Bathurst is almost as far-fetched of a fantasy as F1's return to the Nordschleife is. Would love to see it though, I'm always down for carnage. The rest I agree with, wholeheartedly.
@@Petidani0330 I'm not even sure if there are 40 pit boxes to be honest. And even then the track is, as you mentioned, a bit wild for Hypercars and GTs.
Thanks for your posting and your enthusiasm for the forthcoming WEC race at Interlagos. Just one comment: it is now wintertime in São Paulo, my hometown. Weather is usually dry at this time of the year, and temperatures can indeed be relatively chilly. The heavy downpour of rain known during F1 races at Interlagos happens during the start of the rainy reason in São Paulo (which lasts normally from November until March). It is unlikely that the weather can be a major factor in the WEC race, at least no torrential rain. But one really never knows.
Will be attending my first race ever, best of all, itll be watching the best racing series in the world! Hopefully Ill be watching a Porsche win😁
One of the best tracks out there. Can't wait!
My first race sim had this track in it so it's the only one I really know, excited to see it.
Great circuit it's going to be epic
I going to be there, first time going to a track watch a race
Between the previous WEC events and the 2007 Le Mans Series round at Interlagos (won by Peugeot), we've yet to see any repeat-winning manufacturers. Will Ferrari, Cadillac, BMW, etc. keep that streak alive?
Thanks FJ. Not my favourite circuit but important that the WEC travels to such an important motorsports nation like Brazil.
I will be there
THIS IS BRAZIL (iykyk)
I swear Le mans was just yesterday 😅
The thing is I dont think Interlagos will put the cars in too much stress.
Is not a fast track for these cars.
Porsche 963 hv to win this...❤
How did he pronounce BOGOTA?
The tickets were really cheap I should have bought it 😢
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🏁🏁🏁🏁
Hi
Let's go Ferrari
Wait interlagos is real I thought it was a grand turismo track 😅
@@oennis1644 Interlagos is one of the most famous race tracks in F1 history being in the calendar since 1972
@@portugalmath ok am not a f1 fan probably that's why i didn't know I am just now getting into fia wec
w wii c
It's a shame that Interlagos is only the half circuit as it use to be... It would be a great race for the old 8km track...
jonah when ferrari win fr
Can't wait for the race, I will be there on track this time.
i'm gonna be there at interlagos for the 6 hours of são paulo!
