Amazing little story 😂 Looking forward to learning some more skills and hearing more great tales from Cliff!
Nice one, Cliff. You're looking well. 👌 👍👍👍
I like this story, specially from the master grinder Cliff, thanks for the memories mate, peace.
Awesome channel! My first snooker book was by Cliff Thorburn. Great respect to one of snooker's greats, and really nice to see him with his own channel and sharing some interesting anecdotes.
Heard you on the BBC "Framed" podcast. Did not know you had a YTube channel until then. Now subscribed! *and to S. Hendry's (the greatest ever) as of a month ago*
Love you, Cliff. Saw you practising once at RCL 614 in Scarborough but was too intimidated to get an autograph or photo.
Appreciate you doing this kind of video, cheers!
Great to see you have a channel now, looking forward to watching The Grinder!!
Very enjoyable watch.
Great story, Cliff
Welcome to UA-cam
Always loved Cliff Thorburn 😊Him along with Doug Mountjoy were my favourite 2 players from back in the day 😊
Congratulations Cliff on starting your youtube channel. Looking forward to your videos. Best regards, john bell
Very entertaining cliff, I hope that you make many videos
Cliff's 147 against Griffiths will always be the most stylish 147 of all time, almost as if he entered a zen-like state. Without doubt my favorite of all time. I love watching all those classic matches. Absolute genius. Now at the end of 2023 looks like he's on his way to 147 K subscribers.
😂😂😂
Classic Alex.
I played Alex in a club in Manchester Plymouth Grove . I witness him doing this . I don’t know why but I have never beaten Alex … even when he was Drunk …😊
Having a thick mostache and calling yourself the grinder would send you down a rather unpleasant rabbit hole these days
Hahahahaaaa
Nice story 😂 ...Alex died 13 years ago this week 😢
Pity he couldn't have snagged his own extension in a similar manner?
cliff: not on my fucing watch
Cliff is a great guy and great player
End of the day, Ronnie "is" the man to beat! Hendry n others Selby ,Higgins, and Willo, and Neil are absolutely fantastic snooker players, Ronnie will never dis that Ronnie is the GOAT and its actually not even up for debate including with the bookies 😂👌
😂😂😂
I dont believe in "great" expensive tips. Just seeing one without nicks and cracks should be fine and have at least an hour of practicing the weight of the cue and your strikes. What is more important is if the cue is straight. That could spell the difference between a good day in the club or a horrible one.
I suppose you get free stuff so why not work in a tip...
