Another very consistent live tell to look out for, how a player places there chips in the pot, one time they chuck it in and chips splash, then another they stack it super neet. This tell with some players is like playing vs their cards face up.
im rewinding listening to ur explanation around 15 min mark, you have the lines and then the EV of check and bet. Im not sure what im talking about, but i was thinking, to play a little devil's advocate, isn't there some math or poker rule aswell, that says, if you bet huge, overbet, and jams on the river, you win so much more the times you get called, that it's okay that you often get folds, cos the EV of getting called a bit less often, doesn't make up for the fact how waaay much more u win in the long run? Ahhh, not really sure what im talking about, it just feels like, its okay to jam river for value, since u win so much more the times u get called, but no idea how to back it up lol
You are totally off on that one. When you get called you are almost never getting called by a worse hand, and when the opponent folds you had a hand that always would have beaten him if you just checked down. As I hope you can see here, the only end result is that you are wagering your stack for nothing to gain but everything to lose. This was 2 months ago, so I hope the thought process has already been resolved. "Poker/Math rules" are of no relevance when the only thing your bet achieves is you giving away your whole stack for free.
Lol, why all that guessing? Just learn GTO and start crushing! Metagame changes from pool to pool and also with time, but solid GTO allows you to crush everybody everywhere (for high but not highest possible winrate ofc.)
Gl to play GTO when half of the time you play multiway against unknown ranges. Sure gto is important but if you only learn this for live poker , you're clearly missing a lot of money
@@naesone2653 this can't be the best move. Because then bet 20% to Bet 3bet to value and after make fold lower flushes is better than AI. Doesnt mean AI is better than x tho
The KQcc hand was horrid bet call, the nut flush is such a natural hand to have in this spot for villian. Brad is such a horrifically bad player , he is a dog in any $5k+ plus game live. But obviously beats 1kNL and below. Just a testiment of how soft live games are.
Good poker knowledge but your english and quick way of talking takes away the pleasure of digesting your vast amount of info. Maybe work on that a bit please? I like your videos its just very hard to understand...
Why don't you work a bit more on your ability to listen? I guarantee its far easier for you to just take your ass out of your butt than for a french person just becoming fluent all of a sudden. Video is totally easy to understand and I'm not even a native english speaker.
12:45, i think u can get called by 34 or 35 combos mb, so maybe target those, bet like 25 - 40% size mb? unless u know he capable of bluff shoving, but most ppl arent mb! 12 combos AQ, 3 of 66, maybe give him 1 of 33, 3 of QQ, a couple of AK with club of A, he could have called flop turn, with JJ one club, TT one club mb. Am i missing some or? not sure if ppl call most of the axs hands pre oop in these games
i wonder, u think he might consider donking river if he has a flush too mb perhaps? and since he didnt maybe likelyhood of us being good goes up a bit perhaps

Greetings from Estonia. I love your logic, thought process and explanation. Pure gold. Thanks!
Love you Yolan ❤
With more in-depth theory and abstraction in this format compared to liveplay, subtitles would def be helpful. Looking forward to more!
very good video, learnt a lot 👍👍

So I get he turned the Kings into a bluff on the river but why is it bad ? Doesn’t he block many ak combos ?
but why bluffing KK ? Whats this guy is folding that is better than our hand
@@YolanCohenPokeryou don’t think he folds worse flushes here ?

I talked way too fast on this one.
Think the best is I take more time to talk + I put subtitles even if it takes more time.
Same when he speaks french though ahah
Actually I understand his English better then his French even though I am French XD
He could have made the video in french, stop being ungrateful and deal with it
