What a beautiful work. And bar 85 of the Credo - the tempo slows but the intensity increases, what a powerful section!
It really speaks to Paul Spicer and the Finzi Singers that they can make this sound so gorgeous.
Lovely in all respects. Good balance of sound! Thank you
Thank you so much for this upload. Stunning work.

Nice work. Here is the Alto practice recording: ua-cam.com/video/9wGHBBNItsU/v-deo.html&ab_channel=sacredcello
More sopranos employing the "dark art" of vibrato on sustained notes. No thank you.
We live in the 21st century, you might want to live in it too.
@@Baritone_RyanHenry What has the "21st Century" got to do with the art of singing? Listen to Voces8 - pure soprano lines without any warbling. This is Angican Church Music not Grand Opera.
@@michaelthwaite3282 i'd highly recommend reading an article by mari esabel valverde entitled "con vibrato ma non troppo: rethinking sopranos". the voice of adult women being treated like the voices of boy sopranos is not sustainable for the average singer.
also, the vibrato in this recording is pretty insignificant, and is certainly not enough for this to be the complaint you are making it out to be. comparing this to the sound of an opera chorus is a comically bad comparison
But can you even sing though or just complain? Grown women should not typically sing with 0 vibrato, and this is certainly not heavy vibrato.
