I am super proud to work for Anatometal, as one of the people who polishes all those good metals to a mirror finish.
The company really cares about us and treats us well, so I'm excited to go to work every day. I love the work I do, and I put great care into every piece.

I thought titanium was going to be great for me, but for 48 hours after replacing my nose ring I had really bad inflammation and puss-like substance oozing from my piercing. I had sanitized every thing and triple washed, I did it all. I took out the titanium and replaced it with my surgical steel and within 24 hours my nose healed and stopped reacting. The inflammation had gotten so bad I almost could fit my hoop back on. It’s unfortunate because the ring was so pretty and was like $30, but I guess I just have an intolerance for titanium. Surgical steel only for me!

Silver tarnishes yes and aesthetically might look unappealing for some jewellery, but silver has historically been used in medicine for its naturally occurring antimicrobial properties. Even to this day the first earrings after initially being pierced that little girls in the Indian subcontinent get are little silver hoop earrings and they usually don't cause any trouble. I got mine as a 4 year old.

I’m not an expert or anything but I have had my lobes for 3 years so yeah....When I lost my really good earrings I used Sterling Silver for a bit and when I took them out I had the same thing...I highly recommend just leaving your nose alone for a while and don’t put your ring back in for a while my gray spots went away on their own. I forget how long it took but yeah-hope that helped a bit

@@freddaduck3321 thanks! I took my nose ring out and I’m just leaving it be. Hopefully the spot goes away sooner than later

silver is a really beautiful white metal that looks really good on colored skin in my opinion. it Just needs to cleaned monthly with baking soda and aluminum foil. Dont listen to this youtuber that you need to repurchase them when it gets tarnished. She probably doesnt know how to clean.

Everyone has an Adams apple, it can become more visible because of testosterone which also everyone has. But in general men make more testosterone. Ur comment on the otherhand is ignorant and dumb.

this is all great info..... I just wish the safer metals were actually affordable. I shouldn't have to pay $30 per piercing just to avoid reactions. The piercing industry has been such an annoyance these past years, because of this.... you have to go through so much to find a trustworthy company and even then, you're INVESTING unrealistic amounts just for jewelry. And I'm not talking about custom, fine-quality artsy pieces.... I shouldn't have to pay so much for a circular septum ring or plain plugs..... when will this insanity END!?!?!
