He holds the dirk and eventually sells it, iwas wondering what thats all about. If he plays it some more, maybe you could make a video on it. Anyways, keep up the great work!

11:15 Nashor's vs LichBane depends on what you want out of it. Overall, you'll deal more dmg with Nashors, but you'll push turrets faster with lichbane.
As for the damage part, in a standard E Q AA combo, you'll proc Nashor's on-hit twice (on your E, then on your AA), so you proc 80% of your AP as dmg. And all subsequent AA's also proc the on-hit, so if you can't just one-shot the target, you can actually finish them off. Also the AS from the Nashor's makes the combo feel a lot smoother, so that's also that.
The same combo with lichbane deals ever so slightly more burst damage, but if you can't just one-shot, you have no damage for around 4s, and you're committed in the middle of ennemies, which makes for akward situations.
If we look at Ekko The Neeko, the number1 EUW Ekko one trick, he plays lichbane in lane, and Nashor's in the jungle. He also currently plays First strike Ekko, regardless of lane.

How is Lich Bane better at pushing? 3 Nashors auto is equal 1 Lich Bane and you always get it on your AA. People get Lich Bane for the movement speed, also the latest change to Lich made it scale better than Narshors

The reason there is such a high skill discrepancy is because most of these high elo players excluding pros are one tricks or two tricks, getting banned out basically means they are like nerfed to 50 percent power. Also the fiora is called in chinese server 14 fiora, because he reached challenger rank 1 as fiora one trick at age of 14.

@@Chessmapling Sorry for the late reply, jjking has fallen off as a mechanical fiora main in the past two years. JJking also has a horrible rep in the chinese server that basically if you dont help him top as a jungler/support he will soft int the game. 14fiora is now generally considered the number one fiora in the chinese server.

Everyone is missing the point of first strike, the reason why it's so good on ekko and kha and champs like that isn't the extra gold, it's the 10% damage boost that makes sure the enemies don't escape with 50HP
the point of first strike is so he can take both inspiration and sorcery. This way he can have minon dematerilizer and the extra ap from sorcery. He talked about this on stream.
I think dark harvest is better for the kill secure tho

Phantom is proven by pros to be much better in terms of consistency, but some prefer the insta-headshot of the Vandal. Completely unrelated to the video, but it's funny how similar it is.
DoT(Damage over time) vs upfront burst is an issue as old as gaming haha. I feel so damn old that your first comparison you thought of was Valorant :(.

Word I feel like ekko is under appreciated in the league community. He is by far one of the most fun champs with a huge skill ceiling on all his abilities, but gets overshadowed by zed, yas, qiy, etc.. Ive been playing since 2013 and I started one tricking ekko about 1-2 years ago and its the most fun ive had in league. Im kinda bias but everything about the champ is awesome.
I mean, if you go Electrocute, you sacrifice the damage that gathering storm & absolute focus bring, since surely you want either magical footwear, dematerializer or time warp tonic. Maybe first strike isnt better than electrocute in a vaccum, but the inspiration keystones are just also really powerful for ekko, right? even better waveclear & sustain through dematerializer & tonic, hitting 3 items 300g ealier through footwear, that's exactly what he wants
Maybe. For me even if you could get those other keystones with electrocute I would still go first strike. I get 2k gold a game with it consistently on Ekko.
This guy is really patient
People's main argument against it is that you lose too much burst. You actually don't lose a lot of burst at all. A full combo with Hextech Rocketbelt + Nashor's Tooth only does around 100 damage less than a full combo with Hextech Rocketbelt and Lich Bane. If you auto 2 times after your combo, Nashor's Tooth deals more. Another point is that Ekko doesn't really use the Sheen procs very well compared to other Sheen champs like Camille, Irelia, Fizz, Nidalee. These champs get multiple Sheen/Lich procs in a combo while Ekko usually only gets 1 proc because you generally use W, E and Q at around the same time.
Also his runes are a bit wrong as you don't need dmats for the q oneshot when you have absolute focus with 121 ap. Even if you need corrupting potion you will get the extra blasting wand with futures market if you cs remotely well, so First Strike with freeboots futures market and cosmic insight when ur going darkseal, twt when you go cpot.
Also Ekko has insane ap scalings on his r, w, and w passive when they get under the threshhold. Nashors synergizes with Ekkos W passive a lot. Nashors has a lot more ap and Lichbanes damage is only better as a 5th item after around 800ap when we talk about the Sheen proc.
You will also get a lot more gold with first strike

I understand why you recommend ignite to lower elos, but TP on ekko is invaluable as his sidelane power is unmatched mid-late. I have single handedly ended the game with tp ekko so many times whilst the enemy are derping around at dragon or baron or teamfighting mid
Or you could get 20 kills instead and end that way

I don’t think he goes inspiration for first strike but rather the inspiration tree. I think the inspiration tree is the most powerful tree in the game due to its adaptiveness

23:30 Shadowflame is 90% gold efficient from the base stats, and horizon focus is 88%. Shadowflame's passive will do a decent bit more damage than horizon focus's 10% damage amp passive in the situations where you'd want shadowflame (lowish MR targets), but horizon focus does have the utility of the reveal so it has a niche.

Obviously shadowflame is a good item to build, and if you dont think so you're trolling, but I was explaining that it isnt 100% gold efficient with just its base stats. Horizon focus is overall weaker but is still situationally good on a few champions like xerath and corki.

Uhh..Nashor vs Lich on Ekko. If you auto attack more nashor is greater value, if you dont auto attack much lich is greater value. So, if you on extended fight scenarios and you know you wont be bursting enemy go for nashor or else lich. I am an one trick ekko.
Also,
First strike didnt give him much in this cause, he needed to be passive until 3rd item. In case you are in jungle and more aggressive, first strike is a beautiful rune. Electrocute helps in lane creating pressure but falls apart. Also, with electrocute you cannot be passive early game also, sometimes invites enemy jungler.

First strike is for the 10% dmg late game...after all you're an assassin
Lich Bane + Rabadon's gives you burst damage while Nashor's + Whatever gives you sustained damage. Sustained damage means that your opponent has time for health regen + spells + summoner's to kick in to heal them, while burst damage gives them no option other than shields, but that's about it. You can't heal what you haven't lost.
But I think a lot of people rush Nashor's so that neutral objective taking, csing and so on, are a lot quicker. I don't normally play Ekko mid, but I usually buy Nashor's as my first item in the jungle to be able to clear and rotate around the map a lot faster.

The only time I ever Q + E + Auto and clear bigger camps, or even Raptor camp is if I'm turbo ahead, in which case I build one-shot anyways and forgo Nashor's.
Maybe you never do your camps and just perma gank so your combo one-shots camps, idk.

Blasting doesn't deal more damage than hextech alternator in one full combo (ult, both sides of q, e, passive dmg all included)
You do however do ~14 more dmg on the minions with your Q, making the waveclear better.
Still think the electrocute and ignite would have been better. TP feels so bad right now. And electrocute pops off crazy dmg mid to late game when you get decent AP

I feel like nobody plays ekko because nobody ever plays ekko. I remember him being somewhat ok back in S8??? I think it was when Frost Queen's claim was picked on him. Just when Ekko became ok for a moment Riot decided to nerf it smh. Later removed the item altogether. Nashor is superior to lich in both burst and extended fights and i'll show some quick maths you can easily test and confirm for yourself
(2 items +- 200 AP): lichbane eq+1 auto = +- 1034 dmg // nashor eq+1 auto = +-992 dmg // more autos and nashor does more dmg
(3 items +- 400 AP): lichbane eq+1 auto = +- 1627dmg // nashor eq+1 auto = +-1640 dmg // more autos and nashor starts to outdamage HEAVILY
CONCLUSION: only at 2 items does lichbane give about 40 damage more burst but with more auto attacks nashor does more dmg and after 3 items nashor does more dmg in every situation!
TLDR; nashor's tooth is superior to lich bane!
Okay but your maths is completely wrong? Lich has a higher AP ratio so how does Nashors somehow deal more damage with more AP? Not to mention Lich also gives move speed and haste which are both super important for Ekko. It literally comes down to if they have more tanky targets you won't 1 shot go Nash, if they're more squishy go Lich.
