Hi, I didn't find an updated Maya22 manual, infact in the pdf manual available on your website it doesn't show the option 1-2 -> 3-4 and 5-6 as well, so how to achieve the correct routing in and out. more, any tips about how to use directwire connections ? A possible bug: tried to preamplify an active ribbon mike (Golden Age R 1 active MkIII) that uses the phantom power to supply the internal pre integrated in the mike, nut it doesn't sound well, too much low level and noise, no problem instead with other interface. Solved with new driver/firmware ? Thanks
could you make a video on how to configure maya 22 usb in raper? I try but it's impossible! By the way, there is not a single UA-cam video about this with this interface! I would really appreciate it! Greetings from Uruguay!
I never touched a guitar but a very interesting video

why is there no input channel in bitwig it reconises my ESI u22xt wen i ad bus ,only output
The inputs must also be enabled in the Bitwig preferences. If you have already done this and are still not getting an input signal, you can use the front/back input selector switch on the back of the U22 XT.
If none of this works, please feel free to contact our support team www.esi-audio.com/support/
It is horrible that with the ESI brand interfaces you need to connect some headphones to listen to what you play, since it does not allow, for example, the sound to come out through bluetooth headphones connected to the computer. Which is something extremely annoying when you want to have the least amount of cables nearby
Thank you for your comments. The way an audio interface works (and this is exactly the same with any other manufacturer of professional audio interfaces since this is a very basic and universal issue) is that the signal you play from your audio application / DAW, will be sent via the interface (and then through the headphones connected there). For instance, the audio application / DAW will use the ASIO driver of the interface (PC) or the CoreAudio driver (Mac). Because of that, you cannot send out signals via another device such as Bluetooth headphones. However, you could of course setup the software to record from the interface in most applications and play back via another device such as these headphones. You will then not be able to use the low latency functionality of the interface. Also, the Bluetooth headphones itself has an added latency. All this makes that unusable for any (semi-)professional studio applications and you will not find any recording engineer / producer that works with Bluetooth headphones during a professional recording session - it just does not work that way.
@@ESIaudio A professional would use another interface, these are for amateur people who want to set up their studio at home, where perhaps they do not have as much space in a room as to have so much wiring getting in the way.
@@SenpaiUwwU Thank you for the comment. It is true that we sell most of our products to amateur users, however we also sell a lot to professional studios. The bottom line is, the way the technology works both from the software and hardware side (and this includes all other manufactures as well) does not really allow you to use a Bluetooth headphone for monitoring in a recording setup, no matter if you are a pro or hobby user. As mentioned, the latency introduced by Bluetooth audio and the limitations of audio software to work well only with one interface used for input and output, is a given fact. With the advancement of Bluetooth audio, there might be products in the future that can do what you want to do but as of now, this technology just does not exist. The idea is great however and definitely noted.
u can look on some tutorial, how to make good video, because cut your forhead is big video mistake. But I must say the maya 22 works perfectly for me and I have no issues with it. But on the other hand I dont know, why is on one side xlr and 6.3 mm Jack. I am telling u that, because u did not plug in xlr cabel, so that mean if I want to play on guitare, I just need 2x 6.3 mm Jack (two times, one for headphones and the secound one for guitare) Sorry for taking u time I just did not catch the sence of this vid. have a nice day
Hello Vojta, thank you for your feedback!
The XLR input of the MAYA22 USB is a microphone input. Since it is a combo jack, you could also use the line input - but not for your guitar, but for a synthesizer, for example.
If you want to record your guitar, connect it via the Hi-Z instrument input. The headphones are connected via the headphone output.
Does this answer your question?
not class compliant, buyer beware. had trouble on mac, windows as well as linux. driver issue or no, it's been weird.
I hope you can sponsor me with your audio interface.
