I lost both my uncle to Stage 4 and not a day goes by where I don't miss him. I was planning to surprise him with a visit, but he sadly passed before I could even say my goodbyes. Thank you for keeping that portion in the highlights
mine in June I cheered for the Yankees because I knew when they won my dad would be happy. As a Cubs fan they never got in my way of having mixed feelings, after all we only get to the big show every 60 years.

That cancer message was POWERFUL and unexpected. I am a diehard New Yorker living abroad. I got diagnosed with leukemia on a trip home from abroad and was fighting for my life during the playoff run in 2009. I was at the Stadium between treatments of chemotherapy watching game five against the Phillie, sick as a dog but happy to see the team on their way to number 27. Fifteen years cancer free. Love to all the cancer fighters and survivors out there!
