- This summer, my friend Dustin and I wound up taking his Stearman to Hawaii to fly in the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum's Legacy of Peace Aerial Parade commemorating the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII. The Estrella Warbird Museum invited me to speak to their members for their November meeting and were kind enough to record it. Here it is! I talk about the logistical challenges involved in moving warbirds from the US mainland to Hawaii, a little bit on what flying in Hawaii is like in light of COVID-19, what many of the WWII-significant sites look like today with historical anecdotes, all sprinkled with stories of the trip. The Q&A at the end covers questions like, "did you meet my friend Ken" and, "what happened to the Bearcat?" I've got jokes and I've got aviation history. Check it out!

About time, guys! Been waiting for this.
I am still going to put my footage together to tell a more visual story - and some more detail - but I’m really happy to have gotten this out there! Thanks for watching!
