This is a 2015 Audi TT-S Competition edition, with many mods to it. Essentially a APR Stage 2+, it should be making around 400hp and it is quite fun to drive! A great little AWD sports car to throw around and daily driver, check out my review of this modded TTS!

While the EA113 is related to the MK 5 GTI engine it actually shares more with the MK 6 Golf R....not the GTI. The center screen of the MK 2 is similar to the B7 not B8 cars. For an Audi fan, it comes across that you didn't do much homework for this assignment.

Nice review! I'm absolutely enthralled with mine! I was visiting family in Alabama and so happen to drive by APR and nearly snapped my neck in half! Stage 2+ is definitely in the works!
I have a 2015 TTS Competition package 1 of 500 in Imola Yellow. It’s an awesome car for what it is. Unique but with an old school 2015 feel in comparison to a 2024. Remember, technology has accelerated so fast that everything feels out of date.
It’s a great car. And with a few mods it can really liven up.

It's a great package at a good price used. I was going to get a 370z nismo until I drove a TTS, and now I'm going to get one. I was very impressed with the quality, handling, dual clutch transmission and the turbo 4 can be tuned easily. Had a blast on the test drive. Was amazing on the twisties. Only thing I liked better on the Nismo was the awesome Recaro seats. I think I will have to get a Sportster GT for the TTS and it will complete it.
Buy one you won't be sorry I love mine I've owned several other s cars b6 s4 c6 s6 b5 s4 a b7 rs4 my tts is my favorite
@@shiftya4 I pulled the trigger and bought a 2013 TTS. I have since put an intake and stage I ECU & TCU tune. I also installed a Recaro Sportster GT seat. A lot of fun, quick and handles awesome. I would like a little more sound, so I'm thinking of going stage II with a downpipe. Hoping that gives me the sound I want.
@@josephcassiba263 That's awesome! I bet your pumped. I'm still excited every time I walk out front to go somewhere lol I love the car. Yea I've been looking for a downpipe trying to decide what one I want to go with. I'm thinking CTS. They have options with or without a cat at a decent price. Might want to get on it before it's to late with that legislation I've been hearing about.
yes, since the MK2 TT first introduced in 2006, having the design of steering/interior up till 2015 is a little dated although still high of quality and feel

First "At the crank" is a hypothetical pulled out the ass number they guessed based on wheel horsepower. I always laugh at "at the crank" guys because they reaching for wanna be numbers they cant back up. hell you can claim your 100 horse civic has 400 "at the crank" as long as you say it has a 75% efficiency loss!!!
Second ITS NOT 400 HP NOBODY without a turbo upgrade has hit anywhere near 400. the stock K04 turbo physically cant push enough airflow for the 400 horse range. Even APR says u need a hybrid tt420E turbo to break 400 horse. Even then its 420 horse unless u run race gas and a race map then they get close to 450 with the hybrid turbo. The standard TTs mk2 is 268bhp and 258ftbls.Just Had Mine REVO stage 1 330BHP 440NM 0-60mph 3.7mph 5.2 DSG stock..Sat navs and computer screens don’t make the car better performance wise.
I have a 2013 audi tts and im looking to modify it? What tune did you use and did you notice a difference?
@Phil Mitchell stage 1 only just over 300bhp, stage 2 330bhp, stage 2+ with hpfp 365-385bhp
@@roygallegos1483 check out intagrated engineering if you want to tune from home but there are several reputable companies out there with great tunes for this platform

Honestly really dig these cars man. Just think they're overpriced like a good majority of new cars but I guess that's how the game is.

Just bought this car (well not this exact one) Why is it girly? Because it’s got style?
People that say it's girly are casual. They are regurgitating stuff they heard about the first gen. There is nothing girly about it. It has aggressive body work without being loud and shouting top shelf interior build quality and materials and design. Super flat torque curve big brakes all wheel drive a turbo charger that is on full boost before 3k aluminum body work and control arms spindles it goes on and on. I get compliments just about every time I drive it. Awesome car there's really nothing else out there like it
@@shiftya4 Having owned the car 8 months now the only thing I would change is fwd to rwd and maybe manual. You're right when u say there isn't anything else like it though.

S5 isn't comparable , its over a foot longer, and 400+ pounds which makes it a completely different drive.

They sold the mk2 and mk3 IN 2015. I belive they continued to sell the mk2 TTS and TT RS in 2015 while the 3rd gen normal TT went on sell. The 3rd gen looks amazing by the way.

I believe that some of these cars have back seats for believe it or not for insurance purposes. I think if you look at the prices for a 2 seater as opposed to a 4 seater.

They did it for import reasons, a lot of countries won’t allow true Roadster formats (no back seats) so Audi put them there as a means to pass import requirements
That’s a 2014 TTs buddy.The new shape started in 2015 the old one stopped on a 2014 plate.When you stage1 a TTs it has the same performance as a mk2 RS 👍
Not in the US. The mk2's were sold untill 2015. I have a 2014 and there weren't any special editions in 2014. MK3 came out here in 2016
DUDE in the USA 2016 (late 2015) was the new body style. here in the USA they made the black optic and the model he shows as a last hurrah to the old style.
I belive they sold the MK2 TTS and TTRS while they introduced the Mk3
I wish a stage one TTS was the same as the MK2 RS... I'm at stage 2 with hpfp upgrade and still just a bit below a stock RS. I'm about 355hp. RS is an underrated 360hp. Stage 1 tunes from unitronic, ARP, Giac all are 300-315. Stage 2 gets about 330-340 if lucky . Stage 2+ FBO +HPFP 350ish. Now On e85 2+ tune you may hit 360 if lucky 370. To get more you need a hybrid K04 or big turbo. You are never gonna get 100 horse from "stage 1 tune"
Is there a difference between TTS and TT S-Line?
Sline means only the "sport" look pack. TTS is a sport version of the TT (including the Sline pack).

For a 2015, that interior dash looks REALLY outdated. But otherwise, I like it. I really want the new generation TT-S or RS ver.
Dude ur 3 cylinder BMW have louder exhaust and u hear pops and crackle than this TTS and Cayman don't have back seats but 911 does
I think the TT is a 4 seater, though obviously, the rear seats are unusable. And 911’s rear seats are pretty much unusable too.
My niece sits back there she's 14 they are small but can be use in a pinch

Bad review and incorrect information. New TT with virtual cockpit is like a video game, nothing feels real. Also, passanger have no view of GPS or any controlls or display information. The graphics are low quality compared to Mercedes on virtual cockpit. Also, the interior leg room is very small comapred to MK2 and ofcourse engine on MK3 sounds artifical.
Some cars are small and look cool like an s200, but this audi TT is so small and round it looks like a girl car lol

I can see that in the first gen. But not the 2nd or 3rd gen. So a mustang is a girls car too? I see many more girls drive mustang's than I see girls driving audi tt
