Can the Canes just play at Palmerston North from now on? Holy crap. This attendance was awesome. Way better than in Wellington where the attendance is barely 35% full.
Mate, I agree. With rugby (especially in Australia) on the down slide, I'd encourage more super rugby matches played smaller venues are better for the atmosphere. The Tahs (who I cannot stand) playing at Brookvale Oval is a much better option!
Westpac stadium is way better than Palmy I do like palmerston North but their stadium is terrible their main stand is too small and the rest of the seats have no back rest and your sitting behind a really annoying cage which is blocking alot of the view. Westpac stadium dose get a decent crowd but because of the size it dose not look like too many people are there. Wellington is basically home for the hurricanes I'm not saying that because I live in Wellington I'm actually from the naki.
Wow. Brumbies really fell and fell hard from last weeks amazing game. Good on the Canes though. Coles is amazing. We saw the superman try but what about that clean out? 😱
Hanoi Tripper I'm a Crusader supporter but yes, the Canes are the most exciting and if they could only hold it together throughout an entire season they could have the record the Crusaders have.
Not about records/boring style at it’s about excitement/ style and bringing in the fans. The Canes are usually most Aussies second team, and fav of the kids.. since the Cullen -Lomu Umaga days to now with the Barrets/saveas etc.. they’re the best team to watch
Don't worry, our Chiefs will bounce back bigger, stronger, fitter, faster and smarter next year. Chiefs definitely won't make the playoffs this year. Having losing to the Sunwolfs.
I'm not a hurricane supporter but dahm I love it when the hurricanes play like that always fun to watch and that offloads from TJ is priceless well done canes
The skill in this game was incredible. Backyard footy turned to profession. Slick with the passes and running it straight, that’s something you can’t teach.
Naaaah bro, he showed his lack of vision during last year tours and he needs to fix some def misreads . He is clearly a futur starter for the AB at 12 after the RWC but way better players now fitting with SH plans (Goodhue, Crotty, ALB, SB ...)
DidaLowG hes done absolutely nothing for the last few years well 2017 he did stuff up the lions series for us and getting red carded last year he was injured for few games then gets yellow carded after his injury.
Dane Coles seems to have worked on his clearouts. I won't have a problem with him sticking around coming off the bench for Taylor if he does this consistently.
Very messy game from the Brumbies. You cannot be throwing those wild long or hospital passes when you have Canes rushing up in defense, they are too damn good. Another case of these Brumbies getting over confident after a big win.
I’m an Australian who plays AFL and loves it. I never saw the interest in rugby, rugby league that is... why isn’t union the most popular form in Australia? It’s sooo much better.
3 tries to Laumape … ABs don’t want him. Makes no sense to me. They prefer “I hardly ever score a try Crotty” because he has “leadership skills” … clearly these skills don’t “lead” to the tryline. Please explain Hansen/Foster!
The Brumbies resembled the Chiefs of last week: clueless! Let's hope the Reds dig in and make it a close competitive game against the Crusaders tomorrow...
Brumbies proving that their previous game was a total fluke. Everything went right for them against the Chiefs, now it was their turn to receive a hiding.
Well done Kanes!!! Love how the Aussie commentator goes " Could this be the Aussie revival"? What? You win one game! 😂Unbelievable! Even if an Aussie team were to win this year( which they wouldn't), could you consistently maintain that dominance? 😂😂😂No!! Plain and simple!! Just relax and don't get to excited. I know your trying to revamp aussie interest but that's half the reason they give up is because of the amount of smoke blown up there arse from aussie commentators.
@@b2bkiwistyle291 actually, I'd say he played pretty well (except the two loose passes). The other 22 players performed pathetically. At least his tackles stuck and got his hands on the ball majority of the time.
Imagine if a south african team had enough skills to score even one of these hurricane tries. let's hope a sa team never has to play against the hurricanes on live TV.

dimetilldeath haha ya right nh rugby is tops. Nearly every try here is a forward pass. And its all loose and broken play. Its no wonder they now lose to nh teams
brumbies phaps over creative applying a expansive game plan similar to weakened chiefs outfit was not good fit here tho. problem was they adapted even worse as was evident no plan b, cmon boys you need a contingency or this happens. creativity , expansion sure but not at the cake tin someone forgot the leaven the cake out in my humble opinion
Take that one off if you like. Does the score look better to you now? It would help if the defenders didn't bounce off Laumape like little kids. No chance for a forward pass in that crappy Brumbies lineout drive.
Awesome to see the Canes bounce back..Dane Cole you beauty
Legend has it that Ardie Savea is still breaking tackles.
Pound for pound one of the strongest players around an absolute nightmare to contain.
@Biggie Smalls not lately 😭😭

I love it when NZ teams lose one game and the media declares the death of NZ rugby just to be proven wrong every single time.

Australia Sports Media peaking too early as usual 😂.
Wait they might say Wallabies going to win the RWC lol.
Literally no media says this wtf

short man but Laumape is a huge player

thanks Canes for bringing the horsies back to earth! from a Chiefs supporter..
Don't worry, our Chiefs will bounce back bigger, stronger, fitter, faster and smarter next year.
Chiefs definitely won't make the playoffs this year. Having losing to the Sunwolfs.
That Brumbie’s defence for Laumape’s second try is just embarrassing for a professional side.
Its coz they dont wana fuckin touch him,,
Shows how strong laumape is more than the tackling tbh
The Brumbies replacement halfback should've stayed out of the tackle, or at least gone low...
Na it isn’t. He’ll do that to any team in the world.
I'm not a hurricane supporter but dahm I love it when the hurricanes play like that always fun to watch and that offloads from TJ is priceless well done canes
3 games in and the Brumbies were leading the Australian rugby revival? Talk about counting chickens...
Don't worry, the media hype behind the blessed Waratahs will start up soon and they'll be joining the Brumbies in looking stupid
@Biggie Smalls shame they cant catch tho
Rebels are leading it
@Biggie Smalls Only the 3rd round 😂.
Is ARU closing the gap ? Nope. Early stages.
Rebels pretty average specially no Luke Whitelock, Aaron and Ben Smith.
The skill in this game was incredible. Backyard footy turned to profession. Slick with the passes and running it straight, that’s something you can’t teach.
Laumape for 12 jersey
Fucking oath
He was certainly well suited for this game and against this rubbish defence. Brumbies simply bumbled off him.
Naaaah bro, he showed his lack of vision during last year tours and he needs to fix some def misreads . He is clearly a futur starter for the AB at 12 after the RWC but way better players now fitting with SH plans (Goodhue, Crotty, ALB, SB ...)
Yep 12 black Jersey for him hes much better than sonny bill Williams
DidaLowG hes done absolutely nothing for the last few years well 2017 he did stuff up the lions series for us and getting red carded last year he was injured for few games then gets yellow carded after his injury.
Laumape is the best in the business. Yup. All blacks best centre.
Stay healthy Toko.
How many errors of Brumbies! Hurricanes played very well attacking ... precise and fast passes ... difficult to stop! Greetings from Argentina!
I swear Laumape is part freight train, part steamroller, part human
Dan is back 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dane Coles, a winger in a props body. Laumape, coming out of his cocoon, hope to be in the starting 12 or 13 jersey for the AB's?
Dane Coles seems to have worked on his clearouts. I won't have a problem with him sticking around coming off the bench for Taylor if he does this consistently.
Very messy game from the Brumbies. You cannot be throwing those wild long or hospital passes when you have Canes rushing up in defense, they are too damn good. Another case of these Brumbies getting over confident after a big win.
On the other hand, Brumbie tries came from Canes defense coming up too fast and leaving gaps.
F’n beeeeeeautiful
Huge team effort.
Dane Coles all day
Yup Palmy it is....
I’m an Australian who plays AFL and loves it. I never saw the interest in rugby, rugby league that is... why isn’t union the most popular form in Australia? It’s sooo much better.
no doubt Laumape is the best 12 in NZ right now
The talk of an Australian revival is mostly due to a chiefs downturn
And still the ABs continue to pick SBW. Laumape is hands down a better 12. He actually has the pace to break the line & has good hands.
beating up the Brumbies is a different thing altogether from breaking NH rush defences.
@@MrAhuapai And what does SBW do that is effective against NH sides?
Just the most flick passes that game
Brumbies have heaps of defensive tackling work to do. Falling of tackles like ripe apples from a tree 🙄
Laumape ripping, that Brumbies 15 is good!

A lot of Brumbies fans last week were commenting about how they were gonna dominate this season 😂😂
It's hard to find a rhino in New Zealand, but finally managed to see one wearing the Canes no.8 Jersey
Paul Coll just lost but this win sort of makes up for it.
the brumbies stood no chance! its like when Frieza was fighting Jiren and he showed him just how far apart they are in class.
Brumbies defence was backyard rugby
Did you guys here the roars from the crowd when the brumbies first scored.... yea me neither

At club rugby if we don't wear a mouth guard we don't play. Why don't the pros
Some amazing handling there but let's be fair, two intercepts and two turnovers. No team can compete when they give that away.
