I rescue kittens and have saved so many because of kitten lady. I even have a panluekapenia room because of you with the help of the vet of course. I have learned all the right questions to ask and how to keep everyone safe. My mange and ringworm kittens recover very nicely I do alot of ICU kittens.

Awesome! I took in five one week old kittens. They all came down with ringworms. It was a big job bathing, medicating and sterilizing. Some nights when I got up to bottle feed I would just cry I was so tired. They all made it and got forever homes.
Nothing but respect for those that help these babies!!

Hi kitten lady! Just wanted to say you’ve inspired me to adopt and foster, and you’ve taught me so much about kitten health and other stuff like bottle feeding, and I’m only 12 years old! I love all your videos, and when I’m older I will foster kittens!! My family can’t foster right now because me and my family are living with are grandparents, and they do not want kittens:( anyway, thank you so much kitten lady for inspiring me to foster and adopt! 💪🏻👱🏻‍♀️🍼🐱

Do you have any videos on treating scabies? I just rescued a kitten and he has a really bad infection. The vet was afraid to give him too much medicine because he’s under 1 lb. I bought him the lime sulfur and did the dip but that left him really stressed and weak. I wonder if you have any tips

I got a kitten with ringworm 13 years ago, helped her through it and she was one of the best cats I ever had. She died from cancer of some kind, but still have her brother around. I'm one of the people that if it if treat, do it, and they will be the best pets/family members.

Thanks for the video and a voice for ringworm being manageable. All my foster kittens came down with ringworm-- a new one brought it in, even though he was quarantined they were playing under the door, then the one asymptomatic foster and my resident cats came down with it (5 foster kittens, 2 resident cats). For me, it is stressful dealing with this in my house, and I am so tired of cleaning. Here's hoping I get better at this!

I went to a vet today ( my puppy needed shoots) and i saw 2 cute kittens there. The vet told us someone came and gave them to her beacouse a shelter told the to bring them to a vet without askimg the vet. The sad part was the kittens were not sick or hurt or hungry... they were ok but they took them from there thinking they were alone.... the vet said that they were very sweet and not sceared at all whic would mean they had a loving family. Someone took 2 happy kittens away so they could be in cages lonley and sceared. I couldnt foster them cuz of my 4 other cats and 2 dogs. All in all... please make sure kittens dont have a home beafore you take them away. Thank you.
    I love you Kitten Lady.
Ps sorry for any mistakes i made 😸

I found two times a little kitty meowing in front of my door.
The first kitty was full of fleas and was quite loud. The second one was quite clean and his voice was really quiet.
I decided to rescue both of them because I know no kitten goes around in my street and that's because only my house in the whole quartier has cats. So, before even thinking about how did they got here and where is their mama, I took them home and gave them food. That's saving lifes, not expecting someone to feed them on the streets or take them away without wanting to take responsability. I'm corrently looking up for someone to foster them as I already have a dog and an old cat, but at least they're not out in the rain.

This is so informative! I adopted a cat as an ESA around 2 mo. ago and, less than a week after adopting, the vet said my cat had ringworm. It was on his face and neck and I had to give him topical medicine twice a day for 3 weeks. It went away, but came back a week later spreading down his back. Another week passes and he's fine. It's now a week or so later again and it's come back around his right eye. The vet only told me to not let him sleep in the same bed as anyone. I had to do my own research on what to do besides giving him his perscribed medicine. I clean, vacuum, and do laundry every other day to help lower the chances of it spreading. He wasn't allowed to sleep with me for a week and that was really hard on both of us.

I have a ringworm positive foster kitten and playmate with her and we were unknown that she had ringworm until two weeks later. This is because she came in with no background and we took her into foster with her friend the day after. The symptoms only showed up a week and a half later so there was no way to tell. We took them back to the shelter for their check up and they put her ears under the black light. It showed ringworm! So we had to give them oral medication, keep them quarantined and bathe them. We still have them now and they are the sweetest kittens. The ringworm positive kitten is named Bean and her mate is Bonnie. Don’t let ringworm change your mind about fostering.

I recently went and did a tour there for a potential internship, and I was heartbroken to learn that any animal with ringworm is put down. They did explain that currently, they don’t have the space or enough fosters to try and treat the ringworm, but I still have such a hard time with it.
They won’t even foster them out and it’s sooo distressing to me.

Those kittens with the bobbed tails - soooo cute! They all appear to have different lengths of tails. My kitty who I adopted from BF - also has a short(er) tail with a couple kinks in it - he was born that way as well. Just more character. 💞

Gosh our 2 kits had ringworm when we first got them. The vet diagnosed it but it wasn't that bad and the tablets cleared it up very quickly. I think we were very lucky. Before they were micro-chipped and desexed they were tested again for ringworm as the spores can still be there but they were clear. I'd never seen ringworm before but I thought that's what it might be. The vet said I needed a script and to go to the chemist as they were prescribed people tablets. An eighth of a tablet. Thank goodness for a pill cutter and thanks to our vet for showing me the best way to give the tablets.

My newly adopted kitten (well, young cat, she's 8 months but tiny) has ringworm, but THANKFULLY, it was caught right as it developed (literally, within 4 days of the lesion appearing) and it's just one spot. It's also the type that glows under light. Because it's just that one area, it's being spot-treated and then some oral meds this week just-in-case. She's at the vet right now, but I'm debating when is a good time to take her home. I have another cat and it's unclear when it's safe to have them together--I can't keep the ringworm kitty in a playpen for a month. I'm hoping when the lesion disappears and stops glowing under blacklight, it'll be safe then.

You don’t want to use either one of those on a cat, especially tea tree oil. Tea tree oil is highly toxic to cats.

This is so wonderful! I stumbled upon your channel by accident and I think there isn't any other channel out there that has inspired me so much! I sadly am highly allergic to cats but you've inspired me to plan fostering dogs as soon as I can and helping out shelters in my area. Thank you so much for opening my eyes.

When I worked at a shelter one of our dogs turned out to have ringworm. Of course it had to be a giant super jumpy year old puppy named Fumble. It was impossible to care for him without having him physically accost you with love. It was made worse since he had to be quarantined so he didn't get a lot of interaction. Fortunately he was adopted as soon as he was cleared and lived happily ever after.
