- On your story, we highlight the story of a 33-year-old man from Meru County, whose perception of people who are physically challenged changed after being forced by fate to put himself in the shoes of people he never treated well earlier on. Michael Mutembei, alias Makarena was a Matatu owner and operator who thought picking and dropping a physically challenged person was a waste of time. However, after being involved in a road accident in 2009, Makarena, who is now confined to a wheelchair, became a crusader for the rights of the physically challenged. Here is Judy Kosgei with the story as suggested by Timothy Njeru from Mbeere.
