I like the sportsmanship of Naoya Inoue, he knows what is needed at ALL times. In this fight he gave us an exhibition in execution all the while realizing what we really wanted to see was the KO!!! and after all that, he gave us what we wanted to see as well!!!!! What a Showman! What a Professional! What Skills!!!
It was kinda galling that in an interview afterward Butler was all "he didn't hit *that* hard" when he was shelled up and running scared for the entire fight. Not sure if his strategy for the fight was a rope-a-dope or if he was praying for Inoue to have a heart attack or for the boxing commission to secretly pass a rule to award points based on punches taken instead of punches landed - in any case he was on a hiding to nothing.
@@davegroves1924 You're either joking or such a casual that you shouldn't be allowed an opinion. I'd love to see how you face Inoue. Same as Fulton, except Butler didn't get embarrassed, just beaten soundly. You feel the power, then you run and hide. Only the future HoFer Donnaire faced him down, and that didn't go well for him.
This guy just looks like he’s in slow motion compared to Inoue, it crazy to think in actual fact he’s a unified champion, Inoue is on a world of his own.
He's opponent are all soft , then many people really comparing this guy to pacquiao 😂 , at this age pacquiao are already beating a legendary boxers while this guy are just NVM 😂😂
Paul Butler is a good boxer and a very tough opponent. He put up a good fight, a better fight than Fulton. Perhaps Butler vs Fulton. Yes, Inoue is just that good.

Geez, holy smokes his combos are the fastest I've ever seen. His punches snap and are heavy. They sound like middle weight punches. You get in the ring with Inoue and you might be eating gerber baby food.
Why in the world does the publisher add overbearing music during the finale of the fight???? Videos like this need no music to begin with, especially at the climax when we really want to hear what the announcers are saying at the end. The music is annoying and disruptive and ruins the viewing experience.
Paul was MASTERFULLY running away, ducking and staying OUT of the pocket and danger for the ENTIRE match without landing any single attack and covering up TIGHT! Looks like his camp prepared him for that extremely well.
A rather sad performance by Butler. If this is an example of English boxing, it's time they changed their style. Butler wasted so much energy running away, he could have put to better use. Naoya is very fast, and his punching is accurate. 👍👍👍👍👍
Inoue is still in search of an opponent who isn’t scared witless by him a few seconds into the fight. Butler stopped fighting midway of round one. With Cool Boy Steph it was the middle of round 2, when he popped Naoya with a hard punch and got the monster smile and was just obviously perturbed (with good reason)and started running (bad bad move against Inoue!). Anybody at 126? Ha! Maybe Figuero wouldn’t run…How about 130? Navarette would stand in and slug but he’s waaaaay too slow for Inoue. 135? Now we got something in Devin Haney, a truly world class boxer. He’d give Inoue some serious moments, but he still loses. And then there’s Tank, who certainly has the pop to match the Monster and is a super smart student of the game. That would be an epic fight, but Inoue would have to move up 3 weight classes to make it happen. Duran kept his power and certainly Manny did,and frankly neither had the skill level of the Monster.
There was only one fight which I'm aware of that had Inoue take a beating, and he nearly lost the fight between Himself, and Donaire (first fight). In my opinion, what gave the fight to Naoya Inoue was that he forced Donaire to take a knee after a shot to the liver. If that didn't happen then there was the possibility that Naoya Inoue could have lost.
@@JustAllinOneResourcebro did you watch the whole fight of Donair 1 fight or just the highlight coz what u r saying makes sense when u watch only the highlight. Donair only won 4 rounds max. Even if there was no knockdown it was still Inoue winning on points.
Do someone care to explain why anyone who faced Inoue throw so little punch unlike their usual fight? The only one I see almost throw as many punch as Inoue is Donaire. The other just defending and guarding like all the time. Some boxing explanation will be appreciated
they're respectful of his power. when you watch film on your opponent, and you see him knocking out fighter after after after fighter, you're gonna want to be defensive and pick your spots.
I'm no boxing expert but I think it's because he's so powerful, fast and precise. One slip up and you get hit fast and hard, Naoya does not miss the body/liver shots opportunities either. The monster is a fit nickname, he's scary.
His counter punches are exceptionally quick, so if you throw a punch and open yourself up he will land clean and hard. Opponents think they are going to try and counter him, but then they feel the power and don't have the balance to counter. This basically freezes them from offence, so they keep moving laterally with elbows tucked to protect their liver, but his footwork is so smooth and fast that he cuts the ring off and leaves them stranded and scared.
I like seeing a well-conditioned boxer in action, Inoue is that all night long. What I can't understand is boxers like Butler who for some reason obtain a championship and then go on to embarrass themselves.

Japanese names are often difficult for announcers but it is important for them to get them right. Their pronunciation of Inoue's name is not correct during the fight, missing a syllable. They should maybe call him Naoya instead, either way, out of respect for the fighters, some preparation to get the fighters' name correct would be nice to hear. The commentary was great aside from that but watching the fight it would be like calling Butler "Budla".
