I was hoping Carnival of light would have been released last with the Sgt. Pepper 50th anniversary album.. but hey that’s ok..
And even then thinking, gee wouldn’t it been awesome if Paul and Ringo just sort of jammed on it, with drums n bass, giving the song a structure and playing with original audio to make it something.. being a 14 min track there has to be something of a good edit in there.

Thank you for the video. It was cool to see inside the collection but dude you made me cringe when you were thumbing thru the book! You left creases and prints everywhere. You just ruined that amazing book. For what you paid for that collection you should’ve used cotton gloves. Just sayin.

Do you think you could fit an LP in the box? I collect vinyl and have the 2 LP version. It annoys me that I don't have a Sgt Pepper boxset to go alongside the other 50th anniversary vinyl sets. Thanks for the content.
guesstimating by the depth of the box at 2:59, it doesn't look like a dbl record will fit. "maybe..." a single by putting the posters in the cd sleeve to gain precious millimeters. but i don't have either to try out.
I am not sure but I might need this one. The Beatles as a whole do not fill out surround sound like a progressive band would. They are after all a rock band but Pepper is different. Early Genesis and King Crimson are a must for 5.1 but with pepper this might be as well. If just for "within you without you".

I think that Sgt Pepper's is still the best one so far.
I was "jelaous" of your collection,but now it's your turn,got Dutch CD,witch have two CD's one with stereo/mono mix,and other with outtakes. On Sunday there was a big records sale,I bought Australian one from 1987.CD for about 4$...:) Not to forget original LP and cassette,that i have looooong time.

Nice video. Never like the CDs for all these Beatles box sets being placed in cardboard sleeves. They should be nicely housed in digipacks/gatefold sleeves (or whatever you call them) with proper CD trays. Worst of all is putting the CDs in cheap thin plastic sleeves (as with the 'US albums' set).
The tempo of she's leaving home in mono is a little faster.

Just An amazing box set. I brought it to play and look at in my room at the Hyatt Ohare for the fest and two friends even went down and bought it from the fest table on Saturday.

Let me reflect back. When the album came out I bought it. When the 8-track came out it was the newest and best mix and I bought it. When the cassette mix version was marketed, I bought it. Then CDs where the craze everyone bought it again with a new mix. I think I'm done with the Beatles marketing machine. Enjoy your purchase Mark but's not a deluxe anything.
Bud Pratt that’s not a “marketing machine” that’s Just the evolution of technology, you didn’t have to buy the better sounding cassette or cd versions but you did because they were better and everyone was evolving. It’s the same with any band if you have enjoyed their music from the beginning and continue to enjoy it you purchase the new and better stuff because it’s more of the stuff you love
Actually, this is the first time it has been remixed. The other things you mentioned were just remasterings.
This box has obsoleted before the publication.
You only need one Version and that is the Mono one,All this Deluxe Bollocks is having a Larf and making EMI Richer

For the audio content of the blu-ray, can you go directly to any individual song by using the remote control of the blu-ray player ? Not merely jumping from one song to the next one, but to any of them. Same question for the audio content included on the Blu-ray of the Let it Be Deluxe edition.

Giles Martin restored the mono unique characteristics on this stereo remix. I like the Beatles in mono, but particularly the mono mix (and this remix) of Sgt. Pepper's has some disgusting mistakes. Lucy In the Sky, Lovely Rita and She's Leaving Home are speeded down, down and speeded up, respectively.
+ThePowerslave6697 I was also looking forward to hearing the flange on John's voice on Lucy In The Sky in the remix but it's not there.

Mark do they include a DVD with the vinyl deluxe box set? If not, seems like this cd set is the better value as long as everything else is the same.
Sgt. Pepper didn't receive a deluxe vinyl edition set like the more recent releases. Just a separate stand alone LP release and that did not contain a blu-ray or dvd.
@@MarkP Mark, okay that's what I thought, but until recently it's been a 2 LP anniversary edition, now like you said it's just 1LP for some reason and probably no book. Thanks man, love your reviews!!!

I found a picture that I liked of the drum head online and printed it off. I placed it in a clear sheet protector and traced the entire picture with a Sharpie (fine black marker). Then I borrowed someone's overhead projector and projected the image on the wall and this time used the marker to draw it on the wall. From there it was just a matter of filling in the spaces with the correct colors with a small brush. It actually went quicker for me than I thought it would and I really love how it looks in my music room.

My CDs came loose in shipping too.
It seems like a lot of people's cd's were dislodged. I'm just glad none of my cd's were damaged.
These Beatles box sets should use digipacks, with proper CD trays. Who cares about a mini replica of an LP sleeve... I want my CDs properly preserved for always.

There are a LOT of people that enjoy this kind of video and want to see what is included in a package before spending the money on getting one for themselves. So this is more of an informational video rather than just a random person opening a package.
