In this week's Vlog we break out the barrel machine for an epic client commission - using literally the only rotating barrel machine in the world!!! And, oddly enough, I have to smooth out the canvas with a steam iron!!
Plus we are still waiting for a painting to dry (a lot more interesting than it sounds!) and do a mega-rearrange of the back room in the gallery.
We also stretch up a couple of amazing new paintings - see below for links and we get a new PC - and what a machine it is too! We also eventually get to put in our NVidia graphics card but things don't go quite to plan...
Featured original art in this episode:
    'Resonance' www.swarez.co.uk/modern-art-p...
    'My Secret Paradise' www.swarez.co.uk/modern-art-p...
    'Marineris' www.swarez.co.uk/modern-art-p...
We also achieve our longest ever live stream (with a bad eye) and eventually make it home! And if you ever wonder how we get on with solving problems then listen to my rant at the end of the video...
ARE YOU NEW TO THE CHANNEL? Excellent! A big welcome to you. We are LIVE from the studio every Wednesday so why not come and take a look on the next stream? The current link is always available here and we'd love to see you on the next one: www.swarez.co.uk/live-streaming/

I love painting abstract, there is something so primal and raw about it - almost another level of consciousness. I get totally lost in the creative process that I will paint for hours and I'm like WHERE DID THE WHOLE DAY GO?! lol

Also im curious if you had a heating pad on low to place behind those lil areas where paint isnt totally dried if it would asist the drying process when they arent quite dry but need lil encouragement to do so? just a thought

Heat doesn't really affect the paint curing too much - a little maybe. It's more critical when it comes to stretching as we have to bend the paint so heat plays a part in that process more than curing.

Have you ever thought of using your van as a rolling canvas ...if you could make a print and place it behind plexiglass or something of the sort to be artwork in motion grabbing peoples attention to your label? also you could switch it out when you wanna show something new? just food for thought idea

An interesting idea but one that may draw unwelcome attention - it's why i have never wrapped the van with graphics or signage. I prefer to keep it low-key when we are traveling. Thanks for the suggestion!
