I used to live in Alice, Tx, in the 1990-1991 school year, and all the Tejano hit radio stations in Robstown, Corpus Christi and Alice would throw this Jam out. Never got old.....Awesome memories!!!!
I lived in Harlingen, Texas 1980-1983. I was quickly learning Spanish. One of the ways was listening to Chicano music even though I didn't understand it. I did by the time La Sombra came to Texas.
This song brings back so many memories. My dad used to play this song for my son "froggie" and he'd have it on repeat and he would just jump on the couch over and over. Miss them days and miss my daddy. R.I.P
Man hearing this song I remember standing in my cousins 15 in which I was representing the mullet . Good old times to bad we have to get old. Along side La Fiebre , La Mafia , Chayanne , and Mazz we're good 15 cumbia songs. Todays 15's music is bad , but if their parent is old school they may throw in some Chayanne for the vals...
I'm in my mid 40's not a millennium kid... I stood in 3 , 15teens when the 90's was coming around. So I knew what kind of songs went with 15's ... I don't have to be specific if a person used chayanne when the Val's started and we spun 7 or 8 girls in a circle... back then Gary Hobbs , Selena,Bobby Pulido,Emilio, Ana Gabriel, Bronco, before he became a pervert Joe Lopez did his thing with Mazz, Ram Herrera, all were used in 15's and most of them yes there not cumbias but people used them in 15's
Simply Val this was something we would listen to when it came thinking we could do all things when it came to drinking but hugging the toilet saying u wouldn't do it again...it happened to me a few times until i throw up all over my sister face
Omg old 15nce song everyone would be dancing cumbia with they fist up lol my baby who is 2 mos old loves this song and when he cries and can't sleep I come to yours all the time and he sooths himself with this video song thanks!!!!!!!🙏💙

I used to live there as a boy. I lived right by the playground where Emerson Elementary once stood. Back then I remember going to parties with my parents. People used to throw parties and barbecues with horseshoes to this music. I also heard a lot of Little Joe y La Familia. Good Times Man!!!!
My Dad played la sombra every Sunday morning to clean/cook plus other Tejano music...such sweet memories, thank you for uploading!

Back when house parties and bbqs actually had music to jam to. Don't see any parties like the 90s nomore. Pretty much 2006 and under.
