Based on what I’ve read, and reading in between the lines it sounds like the new management is attempting to change New Jeans completely. Rebrand them, change their aesthetic, music, production, story, and brand overall. I can understand why the girls are worried for their brand, their ideas, etc, because Hybe has already taken down some of their videos for no apparent reason. Minji and Danielle have said that they’re worried “their plans might never come to fruition.” Furthermore, it seems like they’re unable to even be a part of the production of their own music because they keep asking, “let us do what we love, make the music we enjoy, and have freedom to rely on the people we trust.” And on top of this it seems like the new management is “claiming the rights over [their] image and work,” when they had no part in creating it at all. Which is part of the reason for their worry because why is Hybe trying to claim something they had no part of? This all sounds so suspicious considering Illit faced controversy over copying the concept of New Jeans. Let’s be real, the y2k aesthetic/fairy aesthetic, the choreography, the anime album/merch style, was copied. 90% of their debut was unoriginal. This is not the group’s fault but the production team behind them, and it’s very apparent that there’s something bigger behind the scenes thats going to compromise NewJean’s brand overall. I’m not saying Hybe’s trying to take new jeans rights to their brand and give it to Illit, but like i said there’s obviously something bigger. The girls are worried their entire brand will change, something they alongside mhj who supported them, envisioned and had a share in creating. This will change everything for them and their trajectory in the K-pop world. They’ve garnered great success from it, so why should they watch it fall apart? This is far more than mistreatment, but straight up sabotage.

I'm sure they will be harassed behind closed doors. SK is a very patriarchal country. Most women don't get what they deserve and are more commonly taken advantage of. It's a dark industry the girls are in. Specially these girls are young, their society isn't ready for young girls fighting for their rights. If anyone's unclear in details about troubles between Ador and HYBE, I've made detailed translations of few interviews from Min Hee-Jin's old articles that should help understand the backbone of things if anyone's interested.
These girls need a very good and reliable lawyer who can advise them about the legal aspects of how these big companies work. I hope there are human rights groups or anyone who can help them. Can anyone from outside SK represent them or guide them? Hybe will surely strike back and maybe even do worse to these brave girls. I hope there's really capable people who can help them. Hybe will play dirty. They can even sure for "defamation" just for this livestream alone. Money and power talks a lot in their country. I think you are right that Hybe could sue for defamation and breach of contract. But I don't think they will. I think they have more compassion and realise the girls have been used by MHJ and she is the one they want to pursue. Though the girls were very naive, rude and disrespectful so who knows? We'll have to wait and see. Remember too if another organisation is prepared to pay out their contract they will be under their control and might have to work a long time to pay that investment back. All companies have had bad stories so there is no guarantee that they won't be treated worse somewhere else.

Based on what I’ve read, and reading in between the lines it sounds like the new management is attempting to change New Jeans completely. Rebrand them, change their aesthetic, music, production, story, and brand overall. I can understand why the girls are worried for their brand, their ideas, etc, because Hybe has already taken down some of their videos for no apparent reason. Minji and Danielle have said that they’re worried “their plans might never come to fruition.” Furthermore, it seems like they’re unable to even be a part of the production of their own music because they keep asking, “let us do what we love, make the music we enjoy, and have freedom to rely on the people we trust.” And on top of this it seems like the new management is “claiming the rights over [their] image and work,” when they had no part in creating it at all. Which is part of the reason for their worry because why is Hybe trying to claim something they had no part of? This all sounds so suspicious considering Illit faced controversy over copying the concept of New Jeans. Let’s be real, the y2k aesthetic/fairy aesthetic, the choreography, the anime album/merch style, was copied. 90% of their debut was unoriginal. This is not the group’s fault but the production team behind them, and it’s very apparent that there’s something bigger behind the scenes thats going to compromise NewJean’s brand overall. I’m not saying Hybe’s trying to take new jeans rights to their brand and give it to Illit, but like i said there’s obviously something bigger. The girls are worried their entire brand will change, something they alongside mhj who supported them, envisioned and had a share in creating. This will change everything for them and their trajectory in the K-pop world. They’ve garnered great success from it, so why should they watch it fall apart? This is far more than mistreatment, but straight up sabotage.

The main issue is MHJ. She’s just an employee of HYBE! How can she expect Adore to operate without HYBE's involvement when HYBE is the company that built and supports Adore?
MHJ was under investigation, yet she held a press conference and tried to go against HYBE! How can HYBE remain silent when someone like MHJ is acting out of line and holding a press conference, even mentioning other idols in HYBE by name? Yet, she gets upset when other agencies interfere with NewJeans members.
HYBE demoted MHJ, and then she told the media that the situation was making the members sad and that they even messaged her to comfort her. How manipulative is that? Using NewJeans to get attention from the public.
Now, it’s NewJeans’ turn to speak up. WOW! It’s all very similar. I feel sorry for these young girls; they’re still too young and are acting out of loyalty and love for their CEO. They don’t understand how the real business world works-there are costs, agreements, contracts, and penalties for those who break them.
Acting as if they don’t want to be controlled and want to run things on their own? Then start your own company. It’s only been two weeks since MHJ was no longer the CEO, and they’re already resisting this much? Even threatening HYBE, the company where they carry out all their activities, which made them who they are? That’s just crazy.
Whether an employee or an artist, everyone is an employee. Yes, sometimes companies make wrong decisions, but to rebel like this is extremely bold. Who in the world bites the hand that feeds them?
What’s more brutal is that their point seems to be solely to reinstate MHJ as CEO. Isn’t that strange? Sometimes things seem unfair, I mean the policies that companies make, but remember, you are an employee, not the owner of the company! Even if you're smart and creative, you are still an employee! This means you have to comply with agreements, contracts, terms, and conditions. Everything has consequences if you violate them!

Hybe is wrong on all levels. They have a hit Girl Group that has Star Power Internationally. These girls can make Hybe more money than Black Pink for YG. It's all too much about pride within the K Pop Hierarchy. It's pretty pathetic because the next generations of Idols will think twice about getting involved with the bigger K Pop labels.

You can also see the press conference where MHJ told that the parents went to her with the concerns regarding mistreatment and that she went to hybe but was ignored thus why she made a press conference. But even if you don’t want to believe in MHJ you can just start by believing the girls that gain nothing from all this or telling lies. If you are not a fan this is not a place for your hate because it takes a lot of courage to do something like this and as a victim of whatever level of mistreatment to go forward with exposing the situation, specially in their position. Use that little brain of yours for once. The whole live was about the experience they’ve been having and they clearly tell you that there is much more that is going on but they can’t tell because of legal issues.

If anyone's unclear in details about troubles between Ador and HYBE, I've made detailed translations of few interviews from Min Hee-Jin's old articles that should help understand the backbone of things if anyone's interested.
These girls need a very good and reliable lawyer who can advise them about the legal aspects of how these big companies work. I hope there are human rights groups or anyone who can help them. Can anyone from outside SK represent them or guide them? Hybe will surely strike back and maybe even do worse to these brave girls. I hope there's really capable people who can help them. Hybe will play dirty. They can even sure for "defamation" just for this livestream alone. Money and power talks a lot in their country. Idk anything about their contracts but I'm sure it will still be active for a few years and they're tied to it, they can't do anything about it yet. Unless they have the capacity to face breach of contract and all the repercussions of doing so. This is frustrating. Boycotting Hybe won't work because some of the groups there will also be affected, I know some fandoms won't risk it for their group. And those groups also can't do anything to speak up and help New Jeans because they're under contracts as well. If only some other companies can swipe the girls out of Hybe. But it's not that easy. They're against big powerful people. What can we do for them? I think you are right that Hybe could sue for defamation and breach of contract. But I don't think they will. I think they have more compassion and realise the girls have been used by MHJ and she is the one they want to pursue. Though the girls were very naive, rude and disrespectful so who knows? We'll have to wait and see. Remember too if another organisation is prepared to pay out their contract they will be under their control and might have to work a long time to pay that investment back. All companies have had bad stories so there is no guarantee that they won't be treated worse somewhere else.

Media play is so normal there. Power and money run the business. We can just always watch the horror and more often as helpless as the artists. i don’t think hybe should rebrand these girls, they got popular because of their concept and songs. i understand their fight to have MHJ back because they has the same visions for their future, without her, these girls believe they might fail. however, hype shouldn’t bring MHJ back because of the things she has done. hybe and new jeans need to come to a comprise so these girls don’t disband. keep their concept, let them be apart of the creative process, give them that freedom but get rid of MHJ.
