I have also had (non-makeup) FedEx issues recently! I ordered a gift for my niece and FedEx said it was delivered, but I was home all day and we have a doorbell camera and no one dropped anything off. I called FedEx and they said the driver would come back and bring the package, which of course didn’t happen. I ended up having to have the purchase refunded and reorder to be sent to a different address (directly to my niece) because now it wasn’t going come in time. A different delivery service then also misdelivered that second package, but at least my SIL was able to get it from her neighbor. 😅
Yes! I definitely think it looks like Retro had an affair with another palette but I haven’t been able to pin it down yet. I was thinking Sunset or Bronze but Love is a possibility.
Do you know what brings me joy? This palette. I just keep doing Aspiration with Unity topped with babies. I can’t quit it. I may wear it over and over this fall. At least a couple times a week. I don’t have glam or bronze but I do have retro, love, Lila, and sunset and nothing does that look.

Honestly if you don’t have any of her pallets this one is a good place to start bc it’s a combo of a lot of the others all in one. Maybe not exact dupes but for sure similar vibes.

I always get nervous when I see something shipped with FedEx, like I 8,000% understand the pressure shipping companies are experiencing right now, but I’ve always had problems with FedEx 🤦🏼♀️
One time, I had a package I needed to sign for. I was home the whole day to make sure I didn't miss it. I sat in my living room, the door has a GLASS WINDOW that's frosted on it. From my living room I can see out the window. NOBODY came to the door. At all. They left a note in my mailbox saying they tried to drop it off but nobody answered and that they'd come back tomorrow. Okay, maybe they had a lot of packages that day. The next day was the same story, nobody showed up at all and I definitely would've noticed. I had to pick the package up at the FedEx office. I was PISSED because the actual building is far away from where I live and I didn't have time to pick it up in the window they gave me. It was a nightmare. Then, I got the package and it looked like a band of dogs fought over it and then it got hit by a car. My items were broken. I hate FedEx but USPS is even worse in my area about 50% of the time. It's horrendous here.

I needed this. Glam and Retro appeared to cool tone for me so I passed on them. I think those palettes were more directed at Caucasian skin and my dream palette is for dark skin what Retro and Glam is to Caucasian skin. I wished she had done a face palette for darker skin tone because I love face palettes. Beautiful looks, you are talented.
I was just thinking that this palette was too dark and too warm so it was an easy pass for me as I don't particulary like dramatic makeup (I'm light skinned so it would look dramatic on me) and I'm more in cool side but seeing your photo I can see this palette working beautifully on you. I always find interesting how a product can be perfect for someone for the very same reason it can be a big no for other. That's why we need variety in shades, formulas, etc. An yes, that face palette needs a darker sister
Love the way your looks came out. However, I have the Retro, and the Bronze, and the same duochrome is in Pats Divine Rose 2. But, I like that this palette as an all in one palette, great for travel. I would only pick it up, if it goes on sale. I think the lipstick will wash me out. Love the gloss though. The cheek products look stunning. I’ll have to check these out 1st.

Somehow I have missed all other reviews of this pallete and you're the first one that I am watching. I have cut my beauty consumption on UA-cam considerably. You actually helped in how to used this pallete for someone who has a hard time looking at a pallete and picking color schemes.
Love both eye looks especially the burgundy and pink look! I agree this is a great palette for those who don't have Natasha Denona's eye shadow palettes because you get to try a little of several of her palettes in one. I have all her palettes and will get this one for travel. Great review!
My brain hears you, my heart says: but I still want it! 😂 Retro and Glam are possibly my two favorite palettes so... the new one looking a bit like both came together is actually a selling point, since I feel it would complete them nicely. I don't really watch other beauty youtubers so for me this is a first review of the collection 😄😄 The eyeshadows are too neutral for me but that cheek palette really caught my eye, the only thing I don't like is that ink splatter design
I'm so excited for this palette! Definitely repetative but fortunately I was always between getting the retro and glam palettes and feel like this combines the best of both vibes for me. Love the burgundy smokey eye! I would love a tutorial on how to save your look if you make a mistake--ie. put on blush or shadow that is too pigmented/wrong color, eyeline error after completing gorgeous blend, mascara smudges and fallout etc. I don't know if there is "top ten" that applies but these are problems I struggle with. I just ordered this palette and I'm so excited to get it! I only have Triochrome, Biba, and the Pastels palette from ND so I think this added to my collection. I'm glad I waited on the Retro palette because this color story is more up my alley. Also from what I've gathered from other reviews is that her lipstick is the same shade but it's a vegan formula so that could be why it's glossier looking. Loved the looks you came up with, I will probably recreate both of them they were so gorgeous 🥰
ND said in a video that there are only 2 repeat colors in this eyeshadow palette, the rest are new colors. That being said, I agree that it looks VERY similar to the Glam, Love, and Retro palettes, none of which I own, so the Dream palette is perfect for me. I pre-ordered the entire collection and I love everything! Thank you for doing the two looks. You have given me inspiration for this palette!

I don't have any large or midi palettes from her, been eyeing Glam since the release, this is beautiful and maybe just maybe when there's a good sale.... well see, your looks ALWAYS make me want whatever palette you're working with!!
So the palette is made up of mostly previous shades but in different formulas which is why it feels so familiar. She explains it all in her launch video. Also the lipstick is her colour but in the I need a rose formula which is different, more shiny.

1st, this is the first review on this pallet I watched. I was waiting for yours. 2nd I have convinced myself I do not need this because it really looks like a mixture of Glam and Retro and I have those.
I completely agree, I think this lipstick formula is more shiny and soft than her I Need A Nude collection. I don’t own the original lipstick in the shade Natasha but I own other shades and they certainly are more matte. I don’t think I will use the lipstick and lipgloss together either. I did also see Natasha Denona herself say that this launch of the lipstick is a bit more pink than the original Natasha lipstick. 💄
You're not forgetting. The lipstick was reformulated to the I Need a Rose formula for this collection. It's a clean formulation and the finish is more shiny.
Supposedly, the lipstick in this collection is a different formula (like the I Need a Rose series formula). BTW, I would watch your review even if you were the 100,000th review. The ANGESCHKA take is always worth the wait! Some people say this palette has elements of the Star palette as well. Who knows!?!

Your second look, though, I'm gonna try that tomorrow with the Retro and a multi chrome from the one PMG palette I have. You're inspiring me to look way more dramatic than I need to be for a boring Wednesday with boring meetings.
I think after the initial hype of My Dream dies down, this will be one of those palettes nobody ever mentions. Unlike Glam and Retro that had legs long after their launches, I see this one being a forgotten, never mentioned palette. It looks like she’s discontinuing Sunset & Star and recycled shades from those two, maybe with minor tweaks. I think her brand is in trouble, frankly. She’s been moved to the back of my Sephora and ND doesn’t have a ton of popular hero products people repurchase over and over (like complexion products) so is relying too heavily on eyeshadows but at this point, the colour stories are seeming old and snooze worthy. I think if the brand is going to be so heavily focussed on the eyes, she should start releasing luxury quads instead of large palettes because it’s easier to justify the splurge for something smaller and better curated than having way more of the same shades over and over.
I personally dont think the brand is in trouble, in my city the display got bigger 🤷🏼♀️ I personally didnt love Glam, I prefer this or the Retro more 😊
@@AngelicaNyqvist Maybe it’s dependent on area? The woman who worked at Sephora told me it was downsized and moved to the back because ND isn’t selling well. I have noticed each Sephora seems to make their own decisions based on sales. When I worked in cosmetics, the rule of thumb was always that brands should be cultivating products that people actually use up (eye liners, brow products, mascaras, foundations etc…) Benefit is so successful because of that, despite nobody ever talking about them 😂. It’s never occurred to me personally to look to ND for anything other than eyeshadows, but maybe just me. I liked Glam but passed on Retro as it was too warm for my skin tone.
I was waiting for your review, I didn't care to see others😄. The lip products she did mention that they were the existing Natasha shade, however the lipstick is a new "clean (whatever that means)" formula, so maybe that is why is more glossy. I don’t have the palette but from what I can see, these colors are richer than all her other palettes. As a woman of color we needed more of these from her. I hope she does more deeper toned palettes. The metropolitan (?) was the only other deep palette IMO.
I will say the Bronze goes pretty deep, all the mattes are very pigmented and saturated. Try swatching it next time you can, it's a great quality neutral palette :)
I actually think that this palette looks nothing like the Glam palette, which is very cool toned. This one is much warmer altogether. I only have the Glam and the Metropolis from ND, and this one looks pretty much like a hybrid between the Retro and the Bronze palettes, which I don’t have because the first looked too pinky toned and the second too orangey toned for my liking. So this one looked like a perfect combo for me. And now that I saw your review and beautiful looks, I am very happy and cannot wait to get my order probably tomorrow:-)
I too have had problems with fedex and natasha denona delivery. I am glad you received your package. Fedex said they delivered mine but I never received it. Natasha Denona customer service would not replace or refund me and i was out almost a hundred dollars This was on the love collection last year. I will never order from Natasha Denona again!
As I’m watching your intro I’m thinking, wait until the holiday season is here. Packages will be late, lost, stolen from your porch… my favorite is when I get delivery when we’re getting some snow. I would come home to have buried, half frozen packages lol
I only have 1 ND eyeshadow palette and it is a small 5 pan one. I am interested in this because it is a neutral at least so I will get lots of use out of it whenever I go to the office. 😁
i think this is a beautiful collection. i don’t own anything from ND other than the mini biba that was gifted to me by a very good friend for my birthday, and i loveeee that palette, and my dream midi palette till this day has been the glam palette. after watching all of these reviews i’ve realized that i need this palette as well. i wouldn’t need any of her other midi palettes beyond this and her glam palette because these are the shades i loveeee (besides the face palette she released because i reallllly want one of them as well). your looks were absolutely gorgeous and different from each other, and the face palette is gorgeous as well on you. this collection and the glam are on my wishlist, because it’s definitely worth it. i’m sure it’s going to have to wait over a year, but maybe someday i’ll be able to get it. i have to think positive. 💜💜💜

I don't really watch other beauty youtubers so for me this is a first review of the collection 😄😄 The eyeshadows are too neutral for me but that cheek palette really caught my eye, the only thing I don't like is that ink splatter design
I'm so excited for this palette! Definitely repetative but fortunately I was always between getting the retro and glam palettes and feel like this combines the best of both vibes for me. Definitely going to wait for a sale though since ND said this is being added as a permanent part of the collection and not limited edition.

Love the burgundy smokey eye! I would love a tutorial on how to save your look if you make a mistake--ie. put on blush or shadow that is too pigmented/wrong color, eyeline error after completing gorgeous blend, mascara smudges and fallout etc. I don't know if there is "top ten" that applies but these are problems I struggle with. Thanks
It would be amazing if you did some looks using both the bronze and the retro palette to get a look that you would’ve gotten from the new dream palette…

I just ordered this palette and I'm so excited to get it! I only have Triochrome, Biba, and the Pastels palette from ND so I think this added to my collection. I'm glad I waited on the Retro palette because this color story is more up my alley. Also from what I've gathered from other reviews is that her lipstick is the same shade but it's a vegan formula so that could be why it's glossier looking. Loved the looks you came up with, I will probably recreate both of them they were so gorgeous 🥰
ND said in a video that there are only 2 repeat colors in this eyeshadow palette, the rest are new colors. That being said, I agree that it looks VERY similar to the Glam, Love, and Retro palettes, none of which I own, so the Dream palette is perfect for me. I pre-ordered the entire collection and I love everything! Thank you for doing the two looks. You have given me inspiration for this palette!

So the palette is made up of mostly previous shades but in different formulas which is why it feels so familiar. She explains it all in her launch video. Also the lipstick is her colour but in the I need a rose formula which is different, more shiny.

1st, this is the first review on this pallet I watched. I was waiting for yours. 2nd I have convinced myself I do not need this because it really looks like a mixture of Glam and Retro and I have those.
I completely agree, I think this lipstick formula is more shiny and soft than her I Need A Nude collection. I don’t own the original lipstick in the shade Natasha but I own other shades and they certainly are more matte. I don’t think I will use the lipstick and lipgloss together either. I did also see Natasha Denona herself say that this launch of the lipstick is a bit more pink than the original Natasha lipstick. 💄
You're not forgetting. The lipstick was reformulated to the I Need a Rose formula for this collection. It's a clean formulation and the finish is more shiny.
Supposedly, the lipstick in this collection is a different formula (like the I Need a Rose series formula). BTW, I would watch your review even if you were the 100,000th review. The ANGESCHKA take is always worth the wait! Some people say this palette has elements of the Star palette as well. Who knows!?!
Thank you, Angie. I have ND Retro, Sunrise, Glam and Tropic (my first ND palette - was on sale 50% off). And you're right, I don't need this. Your second look, though, I'm gonna try that tomorrow with the Retro and a multi chrome from the one PMG palette I have. You're inspiring me to look way more dramatic than I need to be for a boring Wednesday with boring meetings.
I dont own any ND palettes yet and I went back and forth between this one and Retro... but that multichrome here is tempting me!
I think after the initial hype of My Dream dies down, this will be one of those palettes nobody ever mentions. Unlike Glam and Retro that had legs long after their launches, I see this one being a forgotten, never mentioned palette. It looks like she’s discontinuing Sunset & Star and recycled shades from those two, maybe with minor tweaks. I think her brand is in trouble, frankly. She’s been moved to the back of my Sephora and ND doesn’t have a ton of popular hero products people repurchase over and over (like complexion products) so is relying too heavily on eyeshadows but at this point, the colour stories are seeming old and snooze worthy. I think if the brand is going to be so heavily focussed on the eyes, she should start releasing luxury quads instead of large palettes because it’s easier to justify the splurge for something smaller and better curated than having way more of the same shades over and over.
I personally dont think the brand is in trouble, in my city the display got bigger 🤷🏼♀️ I personally didnt love Glam, I prefer this or the Retro more 😊
@@AngelicaNyqvist Maybe it’s dependent on area? The woman who worked at Sephora told me it was downsized and moved to the back because ND isn’t selling well. I have noticed each Sephora seems to make their own decisions based on sales. When I worked in cosmetics, the rule of thumb was always that brands should be cultivating products that people actually use up (eye liners, brow products, mascaras, foundations etc…) Benefit is so successful because of that, despite nobody ever talking about them 😂. It’s never occurred to me personally to look to ND for anything other than eyeshadows, but maybe just me. I liked Glam but passed on Retro as it was too warm for my skin tone.

The lip products she did mention that they were the existing Natasha shade, however the lipstick is a new "clean (whatever that means)" formula, so maybe that is why is more glossy. The blush is actually the same Natasha shade made into blush 😉. Thanks for the review Angie 😘

I don’t have the palette but from what I can see, these colors are richer than all her other palettes. As a woman of color we needed more of these from her. I hope she does more deeper toned palettes. The metropolitan (?) was the only other deep palette IMO.
I will say the Bronze goes pretty deep, all the mattes are very pigmented and saturated. Try swatching it next time you can, it's a great quality neutral palette :)

I actually think that this palette looks nothing like the Glam palette, which is very cool toned. This one is much warmer altogether.
I only have the Glam and the Metropolis from ND, and this one looks pretty much like a hybrid between the Retro and the Bronze palettes, which I don’t have because the first looked too pinky toned and the second too orangey toned for my liking. So this one looked like a perfect combo for me. And now that I saw your review and beautiful looks, I am very happy and cannot wait to get my order probably tomorrow:-)

I too have had problems with fedex and natasha denona delivery. I am glad you received your package. Fedex said they delivered mine but I never received it. Natasha Denona customer service would not replace or refund me and i was out almost a hundred dollars This was on the love collection last year. I will never order from Natasha Denona again!

I only have 1 ND eyeshadow palette and it is a small 5 pan one. I am interested in this because it is a neutral at least so I will get lots of use out of it whenever I go to the office. 😁

i think this is a beautiful collection. i don’t own anything from ND other than the mini biba that was gifted to me by a very good friend for my birthday, and i loveeee that palette, and my dream midi palette till this day has been the glam palette. after watching all of these reviews i’ve realized that i need this palette as well. i wouldn’t need any of her other midi palettes beyond this and her glam palette because these are the shades i loveeee (besides the face palette she released because i reallllly want one of them as well). your looks were absolutely gorgeous and different from each other, and the face palette is gorgeous as well on you. this collection and the glam are on my wishlist, because it’s definitely worth it. i’m sure it’s going to have to wait over a year, but maybe someday i’ll be able to get it. i have to think positive. 💜💜💜
